How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free shipping to the contiguous 48 states on every Saunum heater, AirSolo and AirIQ control, and on any order above our free shipping threshold. A smaller accessory ordered below the threshold carries a flat charge, shown at checkout before you pay.
Ships from Wheeling, Illinois. We do not ship Saunum to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Heaters come by freight. The Air, Air L and Air Perfect ship palletized. The carrier calls to book a window, someone has to sign, and the delivery is curbside rather than inside, so plan for two people to carry it in.
Smaller items come by parcel. The AirSolo, the AirIQ control, stones and safety rails travel by ground parcel with no appointment, and they can arrive on a different day from the heater.
Stones ship in their own boxes. 33 pounds each: 4 boxes for an Air or Air Perfect, 6 for an Air L. Stones added from a Saunum heater's page ship free with that heater.
When it ships. The estimate on each product page is the distributor's usual dispatch time for stocked items. We confirm stock with the distributor when you order, and if your model is out of stock we tell you the new date before anything ships. Working to a deadline? Ask us first.
If it arrives damaged. Note it on the delivery paperwork, photograph the carton and the contents, and report it within 48 hours of delivery, before the heater is installed. Saunum's warranty excludes transport damage. Refuse a punctured or crushed pallet and call us while the driver is there.
Not included: the electrical work. A certified electrician hardwires the heater to 240 V through the AirIQ control unit, and the AirSolo to 120 V.

What does the warranty cover?
Heaters: 2 years in a private sauna. The Air, Air L and Air Perfect, from your purchase date. The manual that ships with the heater gives no commercial term, so ask us before buying for a gym, spa or rental.
AutoLeil. 2 years in a private sauna, labor excluded.
AirSolo and AirIQ. 2 years in a home sauna and 1 year in a commercial or public one. The AirSolo cover includes labor and spare parts. The AirIQ cover is parts, for the first installation and the original purchaser.
Excluded on the heaters. Labor, the heating elements and the salt spheres, plus wear, transport damage, misuse, improper installation, repairs outside Saunum's repair partners, and stones or salt spheres Saunum does not recommend.
Two conditions decide every claim. A completed installation report goes in with the claim, and the product must have been connected by a qualified electrician. The report form is in the back of the manual, so keep a copy.
Delivery damage. Report it within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs and before installing, because transport damage is not a warranty matter.
Who handles it. Claims go to Saunum's US technical support at Bathing Brands, and we take them there for you. Call (888) 500-5675 with your order number, model, serial number and photographs.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from purchase. On a Saunum heater, AirSolo, AirIQ control or accessory that is new, uninstalled and resalable, in the original packaging with all parts. We handle the return, so you do not contact Saunum or the distributor.
Installed means final. A heater that has been wired in, switched on or loaded with stones cannot go back, and neither can an AirIQ or AirSolo that has been wired in, or an accessory that has been fitted.
What it costs. Full credit for the product, less a repackaging fee of 20 to 50 dollars depending on the item. There is no percentage restocking fee on a standard return.
Who pays the freight. You do on a change of mind. We cover it when the cause is shipping damage or our error. We never deduct the cost of free shipping from your refund, but shipping you paid at checkout is not refunded on a change of mind return.
Damaged on arrival. Note it on the delivery receipt before signing, photograph it, and report it within 48 hours of delivery, before the product is installed.
Stones. Not returnable once a box is opened, since stone is sold by weight.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee before we send the order to the distributor. After that an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, and we waive it when we are not charged ourselves.
To start a return. Call (888) 500-5675 for a Return Authorization number before anything ships back. Refunds go to the original payment method within 7 business days of the return being received and inspected.

The Air Perfect 7 runs only on Saunum's AirIQ control and comes without stone. This package puts the heater, the AirIQ Wi-Fi control and four 33 pound boxes of stone into one order, and the heater carton adds seven Himalayan salt spheres.
It suits a home sauna planned from the studs out, with Saunum's air mixing from a heater that stops 45.7 inches up. Every Saunum size sits in our Saunum heater packages, and sauna financing can spread the cost.

The Air Perfect 7 heater
A 6,900 W floor-standing heater with its fan low in the body and a flue up each side. The Air Perfect has one stone basket, so there is nothing to choose. Its carton also holds the room temperature sensor, the cables and the manual with the installation report.
The Saunum AirIQ Wi-Fi control, and the app on your phone
Saunum builds the Air Perfect to operate exclusively with the AirIQ, which is why it is in the package. Saunum's US distributor lists the AirIQ as required for the Air Perfect. If your heater arrives with its own AirIQ panel, we refund the control. The touch panel hangs outside the hot room: temperature, three fan speeds, three sauna types you can edit, a ready time or weekly plan, and a passcode screen lock.
On 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, the Saunum app on your own phone (not included) lets you set and watch the temperature, start the fan and set its speed, see the heater's status and schedule a session from the couch. Wi-Fi is your choice: pick "Set up offline" at the Wi-Fi step (older panels say "Skip") and the panel runs alone. Saunum wants internet at first installation for updates; a phone hotspot does it. Remote and scheduled starts both check that the door is shut, so a door sensor matters. Bathing Brands' parts list includes a door sensor in the Air Perfect carton, though Saunum's Air Perfect manual names only the temperature sensor, so we confirm with your order whether one ships. Seven Himalayan salt spheres
They travel in the heater carton and seat behind the bottom front panel, between the outlet grille and the fan, in its airflow. Saunum calls them optional; they do not change how the heater works, and other makers' spheres fall outside the warranty.
Four boxes of Saunum stone
Rounded olivine diabase, 2 to 4 inches across, 33 pounds a box: 132 pounds against the heater's load of about 110 to 120, the extra kept for cracked stones. They go in by hand up to the air duct openings, then the grille, then one or two layers on top, never into the side flues.

The Saunum Air Perfect safety rail
Bentwood birch plywood on steel brackets, 29.25 by 13 by 3.5 inches, made for the Air Perfect's 19 by 14 inch body to put wood between a bather and the hot heater. Saunum's Air Perfect manual lists the safety barrier among the parts not in the heater package, and it asks that children stay at least 40 inches back while the fan runs. Living with it
A Saunum Air Perfect 7 evening, from the app to the bench
Set a ready time on the panel or the app. Saunum gives 45 to 90 minutes to reach temperature in an insulated, correctly sized room, anywhere from 140 to 194 °F.
A start from your phone or from the schedule needs the door closed and a door sensor fitted. While the room heats, Saunum's manual says to keep the fan off; switch it on just before you go in, from the panel or a fan button. The AirIQ can also start the climate function by itself to protect the room from overheating, so never leave the fan running unattended.
On the bench, ladle hot water on the stones, 6 to 7 fluid ounces at a time, with only sauna fragrance in it; never chlorinated water or seawater.

Saunum rates the Air Perfect 7 for 210 to 350 cubic feet (6 to 10 m³), under a ceiling of 77 inches or more with 31.5 inches clear above the stones.
The January 2026 manual sizes on volume: the room's three dimensions in feet, multiplied, raised by half again for uninsulated log, plank or stave walls, plus 3.0 cubic feet per square foot of glass, tile, brick, concrete or stone, a glass door included. Between two sizes, take the larger. Our sample: an insulated room of 6 x 5.5 x 7 feet is 231 cubic feet, and a 14 square foot glass door adds 42, for 273, an Air Perfect 7 room.

Someone must be there to sign. The packed heater weighs 121 pounds, and Saunum asks for two people to move it.

In cold weather
A heater delivered in a freeze must reach room temperature before wiring; below 23 °F its limiter can trip.
