How does delivery work?
Free shipping to the contiguous 48 states on every Saunum heater, AirSolo and AirIQ control, and on any order above our free shipping threshold. A smaller accessory ordered below the threshold carries a flat charge, shown at checkout before you pay.
Ships from Wheeling, Illinois. We do not ship Saunum to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Heaters come by freight. The Air, Air L and Air Perfect ship palletized. The carrier calls to book a window, someone has to sign, and the delivery is curbside rather than inside, so plan for two people to carry it in.
Smaller items come by parcel. The AirSolo, the AirIQ control, stones and safety rails travel by ground parcel with no appointment, and they can arrive on a different day from the heater.
Stones ship in their own boxes. 33 pounds each: 4 boxes for an Air or Air Perfect, 6 for an Air L. Stones added from a Saunum heater's page ship free with that heater.
When it ships. The estimate on each product page is the distributor's usual dispatch time for stocked items. We confirm stock with the distributor when you order, and if your model is out of stock we tell you the new date before anything ships. Working to a deadline? Ask us first.
If it arrives damaged. Note it on the delivery paperwork, photograph the carton and the contents, and report it within 48 hours of delivery, before the heater is installed. Saunum's warranty excludes transport damage. Refuse a punctured or crushed pallet and call us while the driver is there.
Not included: the electrical work. A certified electrician hardwires the heater to 240 V through the AirIQ control unit, and the AirSolo to 120 V.

Heaters: 2 years in a private sauna. The Air, Air L and Air Perfect, from your purchase date. The manual that ships with the heater gives no commercial term, so ask us before buying for a gym, spa or rental.
AutoLeil. 2 years in a private sauna, labor excluded.
AirSolo and AirIQ. 2 years in a home sauna and 1 year in a commercial or public one. The AirSolo cover includes labor and spare parts. The AirIQ cover is parts, for the first installation and the original purchaser.
Excluded on the heaters. Labor, the heating elements and the salt spheres, plus wear, transport damage, misuse, improper installation, repairs outside Saunum's repair partners, and stones or salt spheres Saunum does not recommend.
Two conditions decide every claim. A completed installation report goes in with the claim, and the product must have been connected by a qualified electrician. The report form is in the back of the manual, so keep a copy.
Delivery damage. Report it within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs and before installing, because transport damage is not a warranty matter.
Who handles it. Claims go to Saunum's US technical support at Bathing Brands, and we take them there for you. Call (888) 500-5675 with your order number, model, serial number and photographs.

30 days from purchase. On a Saunum heater, AirSolo, AirIQ control or accessory that is new, uninstalled and resalable, in the original packaging with all parts. We handle the return, so you do not contact Saunum or the distributor.
Installed means final. A heater that has been wired in, switched on or loaded with stones cannot go back, and neither can an AirIQ or AirSolo that has been wired in, or an accessory that has been fitted.
What it costs. Full credit for the product, less a repackaging fee of 20 to 50 dollars depending on the item. There is no percentage restocking fee on a standard return.
Who pays the freight. You do on a change of mind. We cover it when the cause is shipping damage or our error. We never deduct the cost of free shipping from your refund, but shipping you paid at checkout is not refunded on a change of mind return.
Damaged on arrival. Note it on the delivery receipt before signing, photograph it, and report it within 48 hours of delivery, before the product is installed.
Stones. Not returnable once a box is opened, since stone is sold by weight.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee before we send the order to the distributor. After that an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, and we waive it when we are not charged ourselves.
To start a return. Call (888) 500-5675 for a Return Authorization number before anything ships back. Refunds go to the original payment method within 7 business days of the return being received and inspected.

Control accessory
Saunum AirIQ fan button
A wood-faced button mounted inside the sauna that switches the heater's air-mixing fan on and off, so you can start the fan from the bench instead of stepping out to the control panel.
Every Saunum Air, Air L and Air Perfect heater has an optional fan button input on its AirIQ control. Bathing Brands, Saunum's US distributor, describes this set as made to turn the fan on and off from inside the sauna room. It does not change fan speed or temperature and it is not a heater switch; those stay on the Saunum AirIQ Wi-Fi control panel, which the 2025 manuals place outside the sauna room.
Saunum's manuals ask you to keep the fan off while the room heats, to turn it on just before you go in, and not to leave it running when nobody is in the room. A button by the bench lets you switch the fan on as you sit down and off as you leave.
The button is wired, so your electrician connects it to the AirIQ control unit. The AirSolo has its own switch and no AirIQ input, and does not take it.

Wiring and placement
In the Air and Air L manuals, the button's four conductors (3V3, IO1, GND, IO2) reach the AirIQ control unit inside the heater through a Molex plug. On the Air Perfect they land on the heater's terminal block. The cable is listed as 4 x 22 to 18 AWG and is shown among the cable entries at the bottom of the heater. The drawings put the button inside the sauna room and print no mounting height, so your electrician picks the spot.
- The Saunum Air 5 sauna heater, the Air 7 and the Air L sizes run from the AirIQ Wi-Fi control, a required row in their buy box. The Air Perfect 7 heater and the Air Perfect 10 run from the same AirIQ control, also a required row in their buy box.
- Saunum notes that the AirIQ can also start the climate function by itself to protect the sauna from overheating, and says not to use the climate function unattended.

Saunum AirIQ fan button questions buyers ask
Does the Saunum AirIQ fan button change the fan speed?
No. It turns the fan on and off. The heater has three fan speeds, and you set them on the AirIQ control panel, as you set the temperature. Some European Saunum controls cycle speeds from a fan button, but no US document describes that, so we sell this set as an on and off switch.
Which heaters work with the Saunum AirIQ fan button?
The Air 5, Air 7, Air L 10, Air L 13, Air L 15, Air Perfect 7 and Air Perfect 10. Each US manual draws an optional fan button input on the AirIQ control. The AirSolo models do not take it, since they have their own switch and no AirIQ.
Can I install the Saunum AirIQ fan button myself?
Plan on your electrician. The button connects inside the heater to the AirIQ control unit, and Saunum's manuals call for a certified electrician on the heater wiring; the warranty also expects a qualified electrician's installation. Adding it while the heater is being wired saves a second visit.
Where does the Saunum AirIQ fan button go?
Inside the sauna room, where the manual drawings show it, while the AirIQ control panel sits outside the room in the 2025 manuals. No mounting height is printed, so your electrician chooses a place you can reach from the bench, away from ladle splashes.
Does the Saunum AirIQ fan button work with the AirSolo?
No. The AirSolo 70, AirSolo 80 and AirSolo Wall run from their own switch and have no AirIQ control, so there is no input for this button. It is made for the Saunum heaters that run on AirIQ.
How does the Saunum AirIQ fan button ship, and what covers it?
It ships by ground parcel from the distributor in Wheeling, Illinois, and may arrive apart from a heater ordered at the same time. Saunum's US manuals give no separate warranty term for this part, so ask us before you buy if cover matters.
