Saunum Warranty Policy
Saunum, based in Tallinn, Estonia, warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and assembly for a set period after the date of purchase. In the United States, warranty claims run through Saunum's technical support at Bathing Brands, the US distributor. Start with us and we take the claim there for you. Keep your receipt, your electrician's invoice and the completed installation report.
How long. The Air, Air L and Air Perfect heaters carry 2 years when used in a private sauna. The manual that ships with the heater gives no commercial term, so if the heater is going into a gym, studio, spa or rental, ask us before you order: we will not promise cover the manual does not give. The AirSolo carries 2 years in a residential sauna and 1 year in a commercial one. The AirIQ control carries 2 years in a private sauna and 1 year in a public one. The AutoLeil water dispenser carries 2 years in a private sauna, labor excluded, and its claim also needs the completed installation report.
What is covered. Defects in materials and assembly. Saunum decides whether to repair or replace the product, and replaced parts become Saunum's property. On the AirSolo, Saunum's recommended repair partners repair or replace it without charging for labor or spare parts. On the AirIQ, Saunum provides replacement parts once the faulty parts have been returned to the manufacturer or the reseller, a replaced part does not extend the original period, and the cover applies only to the first installation of the product and to the original purchaser.
What is excluded on the heaters. Labor costs, which Saunum does not cover, and the heating elements and salt spheres. Also routine maintenance, cleaning and wear; modifications; risks arising from transport; misuse; improper installation; repairs not carried out by Saunum's recommended repair partner; accidents, lightning, water, fire and improper ventilation; and breakage caused by stones or salt spheres Saunum does not recommend. Third party salt spheres are not covered.
Two conditions decide every claim. A completed installation report has to be submitted with the claim; the form is in the back of the manual and records the heater type, serial number, installer, a check that the three fan speeds work, and the warranty start date. And the product must have been connected by a qualified electrician in line with the regulations in force. Damage found on delivery is a separate matter: report it to us within 48 hours, with photographs and before the product is installed, because transport damage is excluded from the warranty.
To make a claim, call (888) 500-5675 or email sales@recoveryroomdirect.com with your order number, the model and its serial number, the installation report and photographs of the fault. We take it to Saunum's technical support and keep you posted. Because labor is excluded on the heaters, the electrician's time on a repair is yours to cover.
Summarized from the warranty sections of Saunum's US instruction manuals: Air and Air L (December 2025), Air Perfect (January 2026), AirSolo, AirIQ (August 2026) and AutoLeil (May 2026), which govern any claim. Older stand-alone warranty sheets give different terms; we follow the manual shipped with the product. Ask and we will send you the text before you buy. Store-wide terms: shipping policy and refund policy.
