Free to the contiguous 48. Every Power Plate model we sell ships free within the contiguous 48 states.
How it arrives. The pro and my series platforms travel by freight; the MOVE, the Personal Power Plate and the REV travel by a carrier Power Plate selects. These are heavy machines, so plan for someone to be there to receive the delivery and sign for it.
Check your access first. Power Plate's manuals say never to lift or move a platform without assistance, and its dealer terms include no inside delivery or placement. Check door widths, steps and turns between the delivery point and the room, and ask us before you order if you need the machine carried inside.
When it ships. Power Plate publishes a lead time of usually within 4 weeks and treats every shipping date as an estimate. We confirm your delivery date once the order is placed and pass on the carrier's appointment details as soon as we have them. If a date does not work, tell us straight away.
Where it ships. Free shipping covers the contiguous 48 states. Power Plate charges extra for Alaska, Hawaii and Canada, so those are quoted case by case: contact us before ordering.
If it arrives damaged. Check the shipment with the driver still there, write any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, and photograph the packaging and the machine. Then call us the same day and we handle the carrier claim. Power Plate's manuals say never to run a machine that has been dropped, tipped over or damaged until an authorized Power Plate service professional has checked it.
What does the warranty cover?

Coverage by model. pro8, my8, pro5, pro5HP, my5 and MOVE: 3 years on hardware, 1 year on electronics, 1 year on labor. REV: 2 years on the frame and gearbox, 1 year on electronics, 6 months on wear parts. Personal Power Plate: 1 year on hardware, electronics and labor.
From the date of purchase. Keep your order confirmation. The terms cover machines bought, delivered and used in the United States.
What is covered. A machine Power Plate finds defective as a result of manufacturing. Power Plate chooses whether to repair it, replace it or refund the purchase price, and that is the remedy the warranty gives.
What is not. Faults caused by improper use, storage or handling, by not maintaining the machine with reasonable care, or by abnormal conditions including abuse, neglect or catastrophe.
Two things void it. The pro8 and my8 manuals say pulling the proMOTION cables past the colored line voids the warranty, and that unauthorized changes or maintenance could void it. There are no user serviceable parts inside, so any service goes to an authorized Power Plate service professional.
Business use. Power Plate's terms limit the warranty to machines bought for resale or for use in that business. How that applies to a particular gym, studio or clinic is something we confirm with Power Plate before you order, so ask us first.
Who handles it. Performance Health Systems, the company behind Power Plate, is the warrantor and we handle every claim for you. Call (888) 500-5675 with your order number, model, serial number and photographs.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. The machine must be in new condition with all its accessories. Any damage to the machine while it was in your hands may be deducted from the refund, so keep the packaging until you are sure you are keeping it.
What a return costs. A restocking fee may apply: 15 percent of the purchase price on an opened machine and 5 percent on one still unopened in its packaging. The free shipping on your original order is never deducted.
Who pays the freight. You do on a change of mind. Power Plate's refund policy says its My Series and Pro Series platforms must be delivered, installed and picked up by Power Plate authorized partners if returned, so we arrange it and give you the return freight figure before the pickup is booked.
When the cause is ours. If it is shipping damage or an error on our side, we cover the return and nothing is deducted, and no restocking fee applies to documented freight damage.
Damaged on arrival. A different and faster process. Note it on the delivery receipt before signing, photograph the packaging and the machine, and call us the same day. We handle the carrier claim.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee before we place the order with Power Plate. After that an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, we waive it whenever we are not charged, and there is no fee at all if we miss the ship date we gave you.
Accessories, and how to start. Same 30 day window, but Power Plate accepts accessories back only unopened and unused. Call (888) 500-5675; a Return Authorization number is required before anything goes back.

The Power Plate pro8 whole body vibration plate
The pro8 pairs a 25 to 50 Hz vibration platform with a 10.1 inch touchscreen and resistance cables you adjust electronically, and it carries a maximum load of 500 lb. Power Plate builds it for homes as well as health clubs, hotels and spas.
You stand, squat, lunge or hold a position while the platform vibrates at the frequency you pick, and you can pull the proMOTION cables at the same time to bring your upper body into the work. The console carries its own library of programs, so a session can follow a plan from the first minute.

Before you order
Where the pro8 goes
Measure the spot first. The pro8 is 38 inches wide, 44 inches deep and 61 inches tall, and you need room around it to step on and off and to work the cables.
The floor
It needs a hard, level surface. On carpet, put a rubber mat underneath to protect the carpet. Keep it at least 3 feet from any other vibration platform and clear of obstructions.
The room
Indoors only: not outside, not near a pool or water, and not somewhere with extreme humidity, because water can short the electronics. Power Plate rates it to run between 50 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit, so an unheated garage in winter can fall outside that range. Place it so the plug stays easy to reach, since unplugging it is how you disconnect it.
Power and running cost
The manual rates the pro8 at 160 to 265 VA. Even treating the top of that range as real power, an hour of run time costs about 5 cents at the US average residential rate of 18.34 cents per kilowatt hour (EIA, June 2026). Sessions are measured in minutes, so the real cost is lower.
Who it suits
Who the pro8 is for, and who should ask a doctor first
Power Plate designs the pro8 for fitness and exercise, for healthy adults aged 16 and over who are medically cleared for weight bearing exercise. Everyone else should be cleared by their physician and use it only under medical supervision.
Power Plate's physician-reviewed guidance: "You should not use a vibration plate without your doctor's approval if you: are pregnant; have a pacemaker or implanted medical device; have cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or serious heart conditions; have had recent surgery, especially joint replacements or spinal procedures; have deep vein thrombosis (DVT), blood clots, or clotting disorders." No list covers every condition, so your own doctor decides.
Check with a physician before starting any new exercise program. If you feel faint, dizzy, nauseous, short of breath or in pain, stop straight away and consult your physician. Close supervision is required whenever the machine is used by or near children or disabled persons.
Standing on it correctly
Keep your knees slightly bent and above your toes, with your weight on the front of your feet rather than your heels, and never lock your knees or elbows. The handles are for balance when you get on and off, not for hanging on. Leave out weights unless you are coached by an exercise professional or already have extensive experience with weight training or with the machine.
Start low and short: low frequency, low amplitude and brief sessions, then build intensity and duration gradually, the way you would progress any training program.
The safety rules that are easy to miss
- Never reach into or under the machine, or tip it on its side, while it is running, and never put objects into any opening.
- Use only the attachments and accessories that come with it or that Power Plate has approved.
- Do not run it after it has been dropped, tipped over, damaged or even partly in water until an authorized Power Plate service professional has cleared it.
- Check that it works safely before each use, and unplug it when it is not in use.
- Never try to fix an electrical problem with the power supply yourself: the manual asks you to call a licensed, professional electrician.
- It is not suitable for use where flammable anesthetic mixtures with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide are present.
- Pass these warnings on to everyone who uses it, which matters most in a shared or business setting.
How it works
What the pro8 platform does
The platform moves fast and in small steps. You set how fast and how far, and the two together set the intensity.
Frequency, amplitude and time
Frequency is how many times the platform moves each second: 25 to 50 Hz on the pro8, adjustable in 1 Hz steps, the same span as the pro5 and pro5HP. Amplitude is how far it moves, low or high, and Power Plate keeps its amplitudes under 5 mm. The timer runs up to 9 minutes of continuous vibration in 15 second steps.
Intensity comes from frequency multiplied by amplitude. The platform accelerates, and that acceleration can be expressed as g force, but Power Plate publishes no g force figure for the pro8.
Why the stance matters
Power Plate describes the vibration as being absorbed by muscles held under tension. So you hold a squat or a lunge with your muscles working, and you never lock your joints, which the manual warns risks injury.
What sets the pro8 apart
The proMOTION cables on the Power Plate pro8
The cables run from ports on the platform itself, near its front corners, and carry the platform's vibration into your upper body while you pull.
They are made from Vectran, a fiber Power Plate rates at five times the strength of steel by weight. On the pro8 you set their resistance to low, medium or high from the touchscreen, and a gel dampening system increases it the harder you pull. A cable extension kit comes in the box for extra length and more exercises.
Do not pull the cables more than 84.64 inches (215 cm), past the colored line. Doing so voids the warranty. Get your technique right at a low cable setting before you raise it.
The console
The pro8 touchscreen and built in programs
A 10.1 inch touchscreen carries more than 250 customized programs and more than 1,000 exercise videos.
From the home screen you can start straight away with Quickstart or open the pro8 Programs menu, which leads to the full library:
- Complete programs. Choose a goal of Feel Better, Look Better or Play Better, then a program, a level and a length from 10 to 30 minutes.
- Express workouts. Short programs when time is tight.
- Single exercises. One movement at a time, grouped as Stretch, Core, Balance, Strength and Massage.
- Manual mode. Set the frequency, amplitude, time and cable resistance yourself.
The screen runs in 12 languages, and the pro8 has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Power Plate says it syncs with Myzone and compatible heart rate monitors; a monitor is not in the box. A USB port handles software updates and pictures for user profiles.
Using the pro8 in a gym, hotel or health club
Power Plate lists homes, hotels, spas and resorts, health clubs and universities as places the pro8 is intended for. For shared use it adds user logins and a password lock, with a settings area reserved for the facility manager. Equipping a business? Looking after it
There are no user serviceable parts inside. To clean it, unplug it and wait at least a minute, then use a moist cloth on the finish, a soft brush on the platform mat and a dry cloth on anything electrical, never spraying cleaner straight onto the machine. Anything beyond that goes to an authorized Power Plate service professional, because unauthorized changes or maintenance could void the warranty.

How the pro8 arrives
By freight carrier
The pro8 ships free to the contiguous 48 states by a freight carrier Power Plate selects. Power Plate publishes a lead time of usually within 4 weeks, and we confirm your delivery date once the order is placed. The manual says never to lift or move it without assistance, so plan for help and check door widths, steps and turns on the way in. Power Plate's dealer price list groups the pro8 with its models that need assembly, and its own assembly document shows why: the machine arrives as two cartons on one pallet, a platform and a column, and the column bolts onto the platform with three bolts once its wiring is connected.
