How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free freight to the contiguous 48. Every Luraco chair ships from Luraco's factory in Arlington, Texas, as one large box on a pallet, about 380 to 410 pounds.
Curbside on the i9 Max Plus, Special Edition and Model 3. The carrier books a window, someone signs, and the chair is left at the curb, not carried inside. Luraco ships these in about 7 to 10 days. Our Premium In-Home Setup can bring it to your room.
White glove on the Billionaire and Royal. Included at no charge: a two-person team brings the chair to your room, assembles it and removes the packaging.
What we need from you. Two phone numbers and a note on any stairs on the way in, which we ask for after you order.
If it arrives damaged. Note it on the paperwork before signing, photograph it, and tell us within 48 hours. Refuse a crushed or punctured carton and call us while the driver is there.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
Home use: 5 years parts, 3 years in-home labor, 10 years leather. Luraco's own coverage on every chair we sell, with proof of purchase.
Commercial use: written cover. 1 year on parts, the first 6 months with labor, and 1 year on the leather. Tell us before you order for a gym, clinic, spa or office.
Extended plan. Adds 2 years of labor for home use, so parts and labor both run 5 years. Add it beside Add to Cart and we register it with Luraco. Not offered for commercial use.
How a claim works. Call Luraco with your receipt; Luraco troubleshoots by phone first, then sends in-home labor or a return authorization. If a claim stalls, we take it up for you.
Not covered. Misuse, unauthorized repairs, power surges, liquids, normal leather wear and cosmetic changes. Coverage stays with the first buyer at the first address.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. On the i9 Max Plus and the Model 3 Hybrid SL. We handle it with Luraco, so you do not contact the manufacturer yourself.
What a return costs. A restocking fee of up to 5% may apply on a change of mind, and we waive it whenever we are not charged ourselves. You pay the return freight; we cover it when the cause is shipping damage or our error. We never deduct the original shipping from your refund.
Condition. As new, in the original box with all parts. Luraco refunds a chair only in its original packaging.
Personalized editions are final sale. The Special Edition, Billionaire and Royal are built with your name, and Luraco does not take personalized chairs back. A fault is still covered by the warranty.
Damaged on arrival is different. Note it on the delivery paperwork, photograph it and tell us within 48 hours. A documented freight claim carries no restocking fee and no return freight.

The short answer
The Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL massage chair: the i9's 60 inch Split L-Track and 3D engine, built around the back, hips and feet
The Model 3 runs on the same 60 inch Split L-Track, the same single 3D roller engine and the same 52 air cells as Luraco's i9 Max Plus. Its rollers concentrate on the neck, back, hips and soles; air cells work the arms, and the armrests fix in place at assembly.
The track
60 in Split L-Track
Luraco's patented track, as on every i9 edition, with one 3D engine and 9 motors.
The fit
4'7" to 6'10"
Up to 300 lb on a 22 inch seat, the same range as the i9.
The power
200 W max
120 V AC, 60 Hz, from a standard grounded household outlet. About 1.8 cents for a full 30 minute session.
It suits a buyer who wants Luraco's full back massage on the patented track and is happy with air on the arms. If forearm, palm and calf rollers or armrests that open on a motor are on your list, compare the i9 Max Plus. Both sit in our range of Luraco massage chairs.
Fit
Who fits the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL massage chair, and the floor space it takes
The measurement that decides the room is 87 inches, the chair's length at full recline.
| User height | 4'7" to 6'10" |
|---|---|
| User weight | Up to 300 lb |
| Seat width | 22 in |
| Fully reclined | 47 in H x 38 in W x 87 in L |
| Recline | 120 to 170 degrees |
A body scan finds your shoulders, and a sensor under the right heel extends the leg rest up to 8 inches to meet your feet.

Clearance around the chair
Luraco's i9 Max Plus manual asks for 36 inches in front, 12 behind the backrest and 18 between a side wall and the nearer armrest; the Model 3 manual asks for 30 in front, so 36 covers both. Lengthwise that is 12 plus 87 plus 36: 135 inches, or 11 feet 3. Across, 18 plus 38 of chair plus 18 makes 74 inches between two walls, or 56 if one side stays open to the room.
Getting it through the door
The carrier leaves the shipment at the curb or the end of your driveway: one box on a pallet, 55 by 40 by 61 inches and 380 pounds. The box is opened where it lands. The footrest and armrests are separate pieces, so only the main body has to pass through your doors. Luraco publishes no size for the body, so send us the width of your narrowest door and we will confirm it with Luraco before the chair ships.
The massage
How the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL massage works: one track, one 3D engine, 52 air cells
What moves, and where, on the parts the Model 3 shares with the i9 Max Plus.
The 60 inch Split L-Track
An L-track carries the rollers down the backrest and on under the seat. Luraco's version is patented under US 10,849,819: the guide rails follow the backrest's curve and split at the joint where backrest and seat pivot. Compare shapes in L-track vs SL-track vs S-track, or browse L-track massage chairs.
One 3D engine and 9 motors
One 3D engine drives the rollers. Its mechanism, patented under US 10,905,624, has a single motor move the rollers in a three dimensional orbit, so they press outward from the backrest as well as traveling along it. The Model 3 runs 9 motors to the i9's 14.
Manual mode sets kneading speed and width, tapping speed and a tapping rhythm: constant, variable or percussion. For what the D numbers mean, see 2D vs 3D vs 4D massage chairs; the Model 3 sits with all our 3D massage chairs.
Air, shoulders, arms and feet
Every chair in the line has 52 air cells. The shoulder and bicep air bag slides up or down on a knob to suit your frame. The arms are worked by air alone, since the armrests carry no rollers. The feet get three rows of foot rollers and Achilles nodes; stretches include a body twist and a foot and spinal stretch.

Heat, programs and the controller
Heat covers two zones, lower back and feet, at five levels, and switches on by itself in the Health, Demo and Shiatsu programs. Hand heat is an i9 Max Plus feature; both sit in our heated massage chairs.
Nine automatic programs run from Health to TV/Recliner. Intensity sets at five levels in six body areas, five user profiles save your settings, and sessions default to 20 minutes, up to 30. One touch reclines it to zero gravity, which places it among our zero gravity massage chairs. The wireless touchscreen charges from the right armrest, voice response speaks seven languages through a 10 W Bluetooth speaker that also streams music from a phone, and software updates arrive over WiFi.
Before you order
Five checks before the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL ships
Most need a tape measure, not a contractor.
- A grounded outlet within reach120 V AC, 60 Hz, a standard three pin socket. The manual says not to modify the plug, and to keep the cord out from under rugs
- Doorways, stairs and turnsMeasure the narrowest door and every stair turn on the route, count the steps, and send us the figure. The carrier leaves it at the curb or the end of the driveway
- A level, solid floorThe manual asks for level ground and warns against sliding the chair over wood or carpet, so pick the final spot first
- The roomAbout 135 by 74 inches with clearances, or 135 by 56 with one side open. Indoors, out of direct sun, away from pools and bathrooms
- Two people for about 270 poundsThe manual requires at least two people to assemble it. Book them for delivery day
Construction
How the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL is built, and where
Designed, engineered and assembled in Arlington, Texas, from US and global components, the same qualification Luraco prints on its own badge.
Leather and finish
Luraco covers the whole chair in what it describes as automotive leather, in black, chocolate or cream. The backrest is diamond quilted, and the headrest pillow moves up or flips to the back for a firmer neck massage.
Three patents that apply to this model
Of the patents Luraco prints, three map cleanly to hardware inside the Model 3: the track (US 10,849,819), the 3D roller mechanism (US 10,905,624) and noise reduction (US 10,724,549). The last covers an enclosure around the air compressor and valves, lined with noise reducing material.

Running cost
What the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL costs to run
Worked at Luraco's maximum draw of 200 watts, or 0.2 kilowatts, and the US average residential rate of 18.34 cents per kilowatt hour (EIA Electric Power Monthly, June 2026). The chair rarely holds its maximum for a whole session, so read these as ceilings.
One 30 minute session
1.8 cents
A tenth of a kilowatt hour. The default 20 minute session is about 1.2 cents.
A month of daily use
$0.55
30 minutes every day for 30 days, 3 kilowatt hours.
A year of daily use
$6.69
The same session for 365 days, 36.5 kilowatt hours.
Redo it at your own rate: kilowatts times hours times cents.

Delivery day
What to check when your Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL is delivered
Freight to the lower 48 is free and curbside: the carrier leaves the pallet at the curb or the end of your driveway, and someone has to be there to sign. Luraco ships it in about 7 to 10 days; the buy box shows your estimated delivery date.
Before delivery
Clear the route, book your second person for the day, and have the outlet ready.
At the truck
Before signing, walk all the way around the box. Photograph any crushed corner, puncture or water mark and write it on the delivery receipt.
Before you build
Check the leather, the footrest and the controller screen while the packing is still there. You have 30 days from delivery to return it in its original box, so keep the packaging; our Luraco return policy has the full terms.

Choose the Model 3 when the track is what you are paying for; its roller path is the base i9's. Choose the Luraco i9 Max Plus if forearm, hand or calf rollers or warm hands matter, or if getting in and out is the hard part, since its armrests open on a motor. The Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition adds a second 3D engine, battery backup to bring the chair upright in a power cut, and owner personalization.
The Model 3 is in our full range of massage chairs, and if the step up to the i9 is a budget question, see massage chair financing.
Warranty
The Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL massage chair warranty, at home and in a business
The Model 3 manual carries two warranties: one for home use and a shorter one for commercial use.
| Home use | Parts and in-home labor for 3 years, parts for 2 more (5 in all), leather 10 years, "Guaranteed No Tearing" |
|---|---|
| Commercial use | Parts and labor for 6 months, parts for 6 more (1 year in all), leather 1 year |
| Extended plan | Luraco's plan, offered in the buy box. Adds 2 years, so labor runs 5 years alongside the 5 years of parts. Home use only |
| Not covered | Normal wear, shipping, power surges, liquids, pets, unauthorized repairs |
| Who holds it | The original purchaser at the original address. Not transferable |
Luraco excludes normal leather wear, so read the ten year term as cover against tearing. For gyms, spas, offices and clinics, the commercial term is written down, and the extended plan does not apply.
Pick the extended warranty option in the buy box as you order. It is Luraco's own home-use plan, Luraco performs the coverage, and we register it with Luraco for you inside the 90 day window.
How a claim works
Call Luraco's customer service, whose number is printed in the owner's manual, with proof of purchase. Troubleshooting by phone comes first. Then home users in the first three years get in-home labor; otherwise Luraco issues a return authorization number to ship the chair to its service center. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are outside Luraco's in-home service area. Luraco excludes chairs bought from unauthorized sellers; Recovery Room Direct is an authorized Luraco dealer.
Certification
Luraco is an FDA registered manufacturer, and its massage chairs are listed with the FDA as Class I therapeutic massagers. That is a registration, not an endorsement. Full terms are in our Luraco warranty policy.

They share the track, one 3D engine and 52 air cells. The i9 Max Plus adds arm, hand and calf rollers, hand heat, a Warm Chair setting, hand stretching by actuators and powered easy entry armrests, with 14 motors to the Model 3's 9.
How much room does the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL need?
It is 87 inches long fully reclined and 38 inches wide. With 36 inches in front, 12 behind the backrest and 18 at each side, plan a strip 135 inches long and 74 across between two walls, or 56 across with one side open.
Will the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL fit a tall or heavy user?
Yes, within Luraco's rating: 4 feet 7 to 6 feet 10, up to 300 pounds, on a 22 inch seat.
Does the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL plug into a normal outlet?
Yes. It runs on 120 volts AC at 60 hertz, draws 200 watts at most, and has a grounded three pin plug for a standard household outlet.
Where does the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL heat?
At the lower back and the feet, with five levels. Hand heat and Warm Chair are i9 Max Plus features.
How is the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL delivered and assembled?
Free curbside freight to the lower 48 on a 380 pound pallet, left at the curb or the end of the driveway; Luraco ships it in about 7 to 10 days. You fit the footrest and armrests with pins, knob screws and color matched connectors; two people, 30 to 90 minutes by Luraco's estimate. Our paid Professional Setup & Assembly brings it to your room, unboxes, assembles and positions it, and takes the packaging away.
What warranty comes with the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL?
For home use, five years on parts, three years of in-home labor and ten years on the leather against tearing. Luraco's extended plan, home use only, takes labor to five years; add it in the buy box and we register it with Luraco. Ask us and we will email you Luraco's warranty terms and the owner's manual before you order.
Can a gym, spa or office use the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL?
Yes, under Luraco's written commercial warranty: one year of parts, six months of labor and one year of leather. A passcode can lock the controller screen.
Where is the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL built?
Luraco designs, engineers and assembles it in Arlington, Texas, from US and global components. Its own badge qualifies the origin the same way.
Is the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL quiet enough for a living room?
Luraco encloses the air compressor and valves in a housing lined with noise reducing material, patented under US 10,724,549. It publishes no decibel figure, so if noise decides it, call us before you order.
