How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free freight to the contiguous 48. Every Luraco chair ships from Luraco's factory in Arlington, Texas, as one large box on a pallet, about 380 to 410 pounds.
Curbside on the i9 Max Plus, Special Edition and Model 3. The carrier books a window, someone signs, and the chair is left at the curb, not carried inside. Luraco ships these in about 7 to 10 days. Our Premium In-Home Setup can bring it to your room.
White glove on the Billionaire and Royal. Included at no charge: a two-person team brings the chair to your room, assembles it and removes the packaging.
What we need from you. Two phone numbers and a note on any stairs on the way in, which we ask for after you order.
If it arrives damaged. Note it on the paperwork before signing, photograph it, and tell us within 48 hours. Refuse a crushed or punctured carton and call us while the driver is there.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
Home use: 5 years parts, 3 years in-home labor, 10 years leather. Luraco's own coverage on every chair we sell, with proof of purchase.
Commercial use: written cover. 1 year on parts, the first 6 months with labor, and 1 year on the leather. Tell us before you order for a gym, clinic, spa or office.
Extended plan. Adds 2 years of labor for home use, so parts and labor both run 5 years. Add it beside Add to Cart and we register it with Luraco. Not offered for commercial use.
How a claim works. Call Luraco with your receipt; Luraco troubleshoots by phone first, then sends in-home labor or a return authorization. If a claim stalls, we take it up for you.
Not covered. Misuse, unauthorized repairs, power surges, liquids, normal leather wear and cosmetic changes. Coverage stays with the first buyer at the first address.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. On the i9 Max Plus and the Model 3 Hybrid SL. We handle it with Luraco, so you do not contact the manufacturer yourself.
What a return costs. A restocking fee of up to 5% may apply on a change of mind, and we waive it whenever we are not charged ourselves. You pay the return freight; we cover it when the cause is shipping damage or our error. We never deduct the original shipping from your refund.
Condition. As new, in the original box with all parts. Luraco refunds a chair only in its original packaging.
Personalized editions are final sale. The Special Edition, Billionaire and Royal are built with your name, and Luraco does not take personalized chairs back. A fault is still covered by the warranty.
Damaged on arrival is different. Note it on the delivery paperwork, photograph it and tell us within 48 hours. A documented freight claim carries no restocking fee and no return freight.

In brief
The Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition massage chair: the Billionaire Edition with an 18K gold name plate and gold plated trims
The Royal Edition is the Billionaire Edition finished in gold: the owner's name on a plate Luraco calls a solid real gold block, plus 18K gold plated trims and roller arms. Two 3D engines, the owner's photo on the remote and white glove delivery, assembled in your room, come with it.
The plate
18K gold
The owner's name plate, set at the top of the headrest.
The finish
Gold plated
18K plating on the armrest and footrest trims and on the arms of both roller engines.
The build
Per order
Made around the owner's name and photo, with white glove delivery included.
It suits a buyer for whom the finish and the object matter as much as the massage, or who wants a name carried in gold.
Because Luraco makes it for one named owner, the Royal Edition is final sale; warranty cover matches the rest of the i9 line. Luraco builds it to order; the buy box shows an estimated delivery date and we confirm the exact date with you once Luraco schedules the build and the white glove team.
Size and room
Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition dimensions, user height and the floor it needs
Luraco sizes the Royal for users from 4 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 10 inches and up to 300 pounds. Gold changes nothing about the frame.
| Users | 4'7" to 6'10", 300 lb limit |
|---|---|
| Seat | 22 in wide |
| Sitting up | 48 in H × 38 in W × 65 in L |
| Laid back | 47 in H × 38 in W × 87 in L |
| Recline | 120 to 170 degrees |
| Leg rest | Lengthens by up to 8 in on its own |
| Clearance | 36 in at the front, 12 in behind the backrest, 18 in at each armrest side |

Measuring the floor
From the i9 manual's clearances: 12 inches behind the backrest, 87 inches of chair and 36 inches in front give a length of 135 inches, roughly 11 feet 3 inches. For width, 18 inches each side of the 38 inch chair comes to 74 inches between two walls; leave one side open to the room and it is 56.
Doors and stairs
The chair travels as a single box on a 71 by 34 by 70 inch pallet, and the delivery team opens it where it lands. Footrest and armrests come out as separate pieces, so the main body alone must clear your doors. Luraco gives no size for that body; send us your narrowest door width and we check it with Luraco before shipping.
Massage hardware
How the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition massage chair works: two 3D engines on a 60 inch Split L-Track
Under the gold sits the Billionaire Edition's hardware: one track, two engines, 52 air cells and 18 motors.
The track
The 60 inch Split L-Track runs from the neck down the backrest and under the seat. Its patent, US 10,849,819, covers guide rails that follow the backrest's curve and part where it pivots, so the rollers keep moving through the bend. Our guide to L-track vs SL-track vs S-track massage chairs sets the shapes side by side.
Two engines with gold plated arms
Luraco markets the roller mechanism as 3D Butterfly Technology; patent US 10,905,624 describes a roller moved in a three dimensional orbit by a single motor through an offset shaft. The Royal runs two of them, which Luraco says lets the chair work the back, neck and shoulders at the same time; its diagram shows one engine under the thighs while the other works higher up. Our explainer on 2D vs 3D vs 4D massage chairs covers the 3D label.

Air, rollers, stretch and heat
Fifty-two air cells work with arm and hand rollers, calf rollers, and tripled foot rollers with Achilles nodes. Actuators in the armrests stretch the hands and arms, which Luraco lists as patent pending, and the programs add a body twist, a foot and spinal stretch and zero gravity. Heat reaches the lower back, hands and feet, and Warm Chair holds warmth between sessions; see our heated massage chairs.
Programs, Level II software and sound
Five intensity steps cover six body areas, a body scan sizes each program, and sessions run 5 to 30 minutes. The Level II package, shared with the Billionaire, is special embedded software for the keypad, motherboard and daughter boards that lets the owner customize the chair's performance in all auto modes, in Luraco's description. Updates arrive over WiFi.
Checks before ordering
Six things to settle before ordering the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition massage chair
The first two fix the personalization for good; the rest are simpler to settle now than with the team at the door.
- The name, letter for letterThe required name field above Add to Cart holds 20 characters, for the keypad screen, the leather tag and the gold plate. We confirm the spelling with you before the build starts
- The photo for the welcome screenOptional: email us a JPG or PNG after you order
- A grounded outletThree-prong, 120 volts, near the spot. Never alter the plug; a two-slot socket needs an electrician first
- The way inSend us your narrowest door width and the number of stairs between the street and the room
- The floor and the roomLevel, dry and indoors, out of direct sun, away from pools and bathrooms; 135 inches long by 74, or 56 with one side open
- The final spotAbout 310 pounds of chair, and the manual warns against dragging it over wood or carpet, so tell the team where it lives
The same checks apply to all our Luraco massage chairs.
The gold and the build
How the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition is made: the gold, the leather and four patents
Luraco designs, engineers and assembles the Royal in Arlington, Texas, from US and global components, making each one per order for its owner.

The name plate
Luraco lists the plate as 18K gold, a solid real gold block, and its render sets it at the top of the headrest. The chart keeps the Special Edition's leather tag and keypad name as well, so the owner's name appears in leather, in gold and on screen.

The trims and the roller arms
Gold plated trims frame a panel on the outer side of each armrest and on the footrest. The third piece works out of sight: both roller engines have 18K gold plated arms, moving on the track inside the backrest and seat, under the cover.
Leather, backup power and quiet air
The whole chair is covered in what Luraco calls automotive leather. Patented emergency backup power, from the Special Edition, restores the chair to its original position for the user to get out if power is lost; no battery capacity is published. A third patent, US 10,724,549, houses the air compressor and valves in a box lined with sound-deadening material.
The Royal is listed with our 3D massage chairs and L-track massage chairs.
Electricity cost
Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition running cost, worked out
The sums use the rating plate's 200 W maximum, 0.2 kilowatts, and 18.34 cents per kilowatt hour, the US residential average in the EIA Electric Power Monthly for June 2026.
Per session
1.8 cents
Thirty minutes, the manual's longest session, is 0.1 kilowatt hours at full draw.
Daily for a month
$0.55
30 sessions, 3 kilowatt hours.
Daily for a year
$6.69
365 sessions, 36.5 kilowatt hours.
These are ceilings, since 200 W is the maximum. Warm Chair can stay on between massages with no separate rating; an hour at 200 W is still about 3.7 cents.

From the Luraco i9 Max Plus Billionaire Edition, the Royal adds the gold alone. The Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition keeps both engines, the backup battery and the name, without the photo screen or Level II software. The Luraco i9 Max Plus has one engine and is returnable; the Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL shares the track and air cells, with fixed armrests.
Every edition here is also listed with our massage chairs and among our zero gravity massage chairs.
Cover and listings
Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition massage chair warranty, for home and business use
One warranty table in Luraco's manual covers every i9 Max Plus edition. Final sale limits returns, not cover.
| At home | Parts 5 years; labor in your home for the first 3 |
|---|---|
| Leather at home | 10 years, "Guaranteed No Tearing" |
| In a business | Parts 1 year, service 6 months, leather 1 year |
| The gold | Luraco's warranty names no separate term for the plating; ask us and we get Luraco's answer in writing before you order |
| Transfer | None: first buyer, first address. Moving? Tell Luraco beforehand |
| Excluded | Surges, liquids, animals, cracked remote screens; a no-fault call may be charged |
Luraco's extended plan is an option in the buy box, for home use only. It adds two years, taking labor to 5 years to match the 5 years on parts. We register it with Luraco for you within the 90 day window. Chairs in a spa, clinic, gym or office stay on business terms.
Making a claim
Call the customer service line in the owner's manual with proof of purchase. After phone troubleshooting, Luraco sends in-home labor in the first three years of home use, or issues a return authorization for a service center. Its in-home service does not reach Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. Full terms: our Luraco warranty policy.
Certification
Luraco is an FDA-registered manufacturer, and the chair is listed with the FDA as a Class I therapeutic massager; that is a registration, not a clearance. The i9 Max Plus line carries a cULus listing to UL 1647, under UL file E340228.
Questions
Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition: answers before you order
What does the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition add to the Billionaire Edition?
Gold in three places: the 18K gold owner's name plate, 18K gold plated trims on the armrests and footrest, and 18K gold plated arms on both roller engines. Engines, motors, software and photo screen are shared.
Is the name plate on the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition solid gold?
Luraco describes it as an 18K gold plate and a solid real gold block, but publishes no weight, so we cannot quote one. The trims and roller arms are gold plated, not solid.
What is personalized on the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition?
The owner's name, typed above Add to Cart in up to 20 characters, goes on the keypad screen, a leather tag and the gold plate, and we confirm the spelling with you before Luraco builds. The remote opens on the owner's photo, which you email to us after you order.
Can I return the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition?
No, it is final sale: Luraco's terms rule out returns on chairs with special personalization orders. Freight damage is still reported at delivery, and Luraco's warranty covers faults.
How long does the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition take to arrive?
Luraco builds it to order; the buy box shows an estimated delivery date and we confirm the exact date with you once Luraco schedules the build and the white glove team. Delivery anywhere in the lower 48 comes with the chair, and someone must sign.
Will the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition fit me and my room?
It is rated for users 4 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 10 inches and up to 300 pounds. Fully reclined it is 87 by 38 inches; with clearances, allow 135 inches by 74, or 56 with one side open. Send us your narrowest door width and we check it with Luraco.
What outlet does the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition use, and what does it cost to run?
Any grounded 120 volt household outlet; the plate reads 120 V AC, 60 Hz, 200 W maximum. Daily 30 minute sessions for a year come to about $6.69 at 18.34 cents per kilowatt hour, the EIA's June 2026 US average.
What warranty does the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition carry?
At home: 5 years parts, 3 years in-home labor, 10 years leather against tearing. In a business: 1 year parts and leather, 6 months service. Luraco's home-use extended plan, added in the buy box and registered by us, takes labor to 5 years. Ask and we email you the terms and manual before you buy.
Does the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition arrive assembled?
It arrives in one box as body, footrest, armrests and remote, and leaves the team's hands assembled. The white glove delivery that comes with the Royal carries it to your chosen room, puts it together and clears all the packaging.
Is Recovery Room Direct an authorized dealer for the Luraco i9 Max Plus Royal Edition?
Yes. Luraco approved Recovery Room Direct as an online dealer in September 2026. It matters for cover, since Luraco's warranty excludes chairs bought from unauthorized dealers.
