Send us a link to the lower price. If it is the same model, new and in stock at an authorized U.S. online retailer, we match it. Already ordered? If it was lower on your order date, claim the difference within 30 days.

Free shipping to the contiguous 48. On every SunRay sauna, by freight from Richmond, Virginia. The estimate on each product page is in business days.
Freight to the curb. A kit of panels or barrel staves, in cartons on a pallet. The freight company calls to book a window, someone signs, and residential deliveries come on a lift gate truck. Plan for two or more people.
Hard to reach addresses. If a truck cannot reach you, a smaller vehicle may cost extra, and we tell you before the delivery is booked.
When it ships. In-stock saunas usually leave SunRay's warehouse within 1 to 2 business days of SunRay receiving the order, and you get a tracking email when it leaves.
If it arrives damaged. Note it on the delivery receipt before signing and photograph it. Refuse a punctured or crushed pallet and call us while the driver is there; for minor damage, call before the driver leaves. Report anything found after unpacking within 48 hours.
Where we ship. The contiguous 48 states. We do not ship SunRay to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Not included: the electrical work and the assembly. A licensed electrician hardwires the Harvia heater on a traditional sauna to 240 V. Professional setup and assembly is available on the indoor saunas, and by quote on the others.
Structure: 10 years. The wooden panels, floor, ceiling and glass, from the original date of purchase, for the parts needed to repair a defect. If a structural defect cannot be fixed with a part, SunRay may send a replacement sauna; assembling it is then your cost.
Parts and electronics: 1 year. Every other part, including the heater and the electrical components. Parts replacement only: labor for fitting a part is not covered.
Not covered. Alteration, neglect, misuse, freight damage caused by the carrier, accidents and acts of God. Surface cracks and minor blemishes in the wood are natural, not defects. Report delivery damage within 48 hours, before assembly.
Two conditions decide most claims. Residential use only, because a commercial setting voids the warranty. And installed, run and maintained to the instructions: indoor saunas stay indoors, and an outdoor sauna without a weather cover needs its exterior resealed every year.
Who is covered. The original customer at the original delivery address. The warranty cannot be transferred.
Ask before a repair. Get SunRay's written consent before any repair you expect to be reimbursed. SunRay decides the cause of a fault and whether to repair or replace.
Who handles it. We are a factory-authorized SunRay dealer and file the claim for you. Call us with your order number, the model and photographs.
20 days from the ship date. New, unassembled and resalable; the ship date is in your tracking email. We handle the return, so you do not contact SunRay.
Unassembled means returnable. In its original packaging and crate with the manuals and accessories. A sauna that has been assembled, wired in or heated cannot go back.
What a return costs. A restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price may apply on a change-of-mind return. There is none on a documented freight damage claim.
Who pays the return freight. You do on a change of mind. We cover it when the cause is shipping damage or our error.
Original shipping. We never deduct the original shipping from your refund.
Damaged on arrival. A different and faster process. Note it before signing and photograph it. Refuse a punctured or crushed pallet and call us while the driver is there. Report anything found after unpacking within 48 hours.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee before we place the order with SunRay. After that an administrative fee of up to 5% may apply, and we waive it whenever we are not charged. If we miss our own ship date, you cancel with no fee.
To start a return. Call us for a Return Authorization number before anything ships back. Refunds go to the original payment method within 7 business days of the return being received and inspected.
The SunRay Tiburon is a 4 person indoor traditional sauna in hemlock, with a 6 kW Harvia heater
SunRay's Tiburon (model 400SN) is a family size cabin: 63 inches wide and 69 deep, with upper and lower benches for four people and a 6 kW Harvia electric heater carrying a bed of stones. Water on the stones makes steam, and the two bench heights give each person a choice of heat.
Choose it when the sauna will be shared by four, and you have a near square patch of floor, about 5 feet 3 by 5 feet 9, in a basement, spare room or home gym. It sits among the larger cabins in our indoor saunas.
Seats
Four
Two bench levels with backrests, so the family can sit together.
Heat for a bigger room
Steam for four
A larger Harvia heater than SunRay's 2 and 3 seat hemlock cabins, with stones to ladle water on.
Shape
Fits a room corner
63 by 69 inches and nearly square, so it settles in neatly against two walls.
Watch
The SunRay Tiburon 4 person indoor sauna, on film
A phone walkaround in a showroom: the faceted front, a glass door between two angled glass panes, seen from several angles before the camera moves along one side.
Then a hand opens the door by its long wooden handle and the camera goes in. You see the two bench levels with their slatted backs, the Harvia heater with its control knobs inside its wooden guard rail, the bucket and ladle, the ceiling vent and the ceiling light, and the thermometer and hygrometer dial beside the sand timer, then a last look along the benches and the floor. It runs silent.

Looking down into the Tiburon: the floor, the two bench levels and the angled corners at the front.
Two heights of bench, four people
SunRay describes the upper and lower benches as a way for each bather to pick a temperature zone. Hot air rises, so the upper tier is the hot seat and the lower tier the gentler one. Four adults fit across the two levels, and two can sit apart with plenty of space between them.
Ceiling
At 79 inches tall, with SunRay's requested gap of 3 to 4 inches or more above the roof, plan for a ceiling of at least 83 inches. Almost any 8 foot room clears it with ease.
The heat
The 6 kW Harvia heater in the SunRay Tiburon traditional sauna
A 6 kW Harvia electric heater mounts on a wall rack inside a wooden safety rail, with a load of stones that make steam on demand.
Why the larger heater
The Tiburon holds more air than the two and three seat Baldwin and Southport, so SunRay steps the heater up from 3.5 kW in the Baldwin and 4.5 kW in the Southport to 6 kW here.
Steam and dry heat
Use the wooden bucket and ladle that come with it to pour water on the hot stones and raise the humidity, or keep them dry for a dry session. A thermo-hygrometer on the wall shows how hot and how humid the room is.
Temperature and warm-up
The Tiburon heats up to 170 F, SunRay's stated maximum, and SunRay calls 160 to 170 F the normal range for its indoor traditional saunas. Allow 45 to 60 minutes for the room to come up to heat; SunRay's Harvia heater sheet gives that as the time to a usable temperature, and a chilly room sits at the long end. The temperature sensor sits on the wall above the heater, about 4 inches below the ceiling, as SunRay's manual places it. The heat itself is set on the heater, using the control knobs on its front.
Keep hands off the heater and the stones. Both get hot enough to burn. SunRay's manual warns that too much water on the stones throws off boiling steam, that the benches and floor may be slippery, and that clothes must never be hung to dry in the cabin.
Construction
The SunRay Tiburon hemlock sauna: how it is built
Hemlock walls, benches and floor, a tempered glass door and SunRay's ventilation system.
Hemlock throughout
SunRay specifies hemlock for the Tiburon, a light toned softwood that keeps a cabin with this much interior wall bright inside.
More wall pieces than the smaller cabins
SunRay's manual builds the 400SN differently from the two and three seat models. The front is a center panel with a front side panel on each side; middle side panels and full side walls follow, then the back. Two vertical and two horizontal seat panels make up the two bench levels.
Comfort details
Behind the benches are ergonomic backrests. SunRay adds an interior light, a cup holder, a sand timer, the thermo-hygrometer and the bucket and ladle, and builds ventilation into the cabin so moisture can escape after a steam round.

Before you order
Preparing for the SunRay Tiburon sauna: space, floor and wiring
A four seat cabin takes some planning. These five points cover it.
63 by 69 inches of floorPlus working room on at least one side while the walls go up
83 inches of ceiling or moreThe cabin's 79 inches and SunRay's gap of 3 to 4 inches above it
A level, solid floorAll the walls stand on the floor panels, so a true base keeps the door square
A dedicated 240 V lineFor the heater alone, hard-wired by a licensed electrician
Somewhere indoorsNo roof against weather; SunRay's warranty restricts indoor saunas to indoor use
The circuit for a 6 kW heater
A 6 kW heater is a serious electrical load, and it needs a 240 V circuit that serves nothing else, wired directly to the heater. SunRay's manual says only an authorized, professional electrician may make the connection. Your licensed electrician sizes the circuit from the Harvia heater manual and the National Electrical Code.
Running cost
SunRay Tiburon running cost for a family sauna
Four sessions a week of 90 minutes each, up to an hour of warm-up and half an hour inside, at 6 kW and 18.34 cents per kilowatt hour: the June 2026 national residential average in the EIA's Electric Power Monthly.
Each session
$1.65
9 kWh over 90 minutes, heat-up included.
Each month
$28.61
About 26 hours, or 156 kWh.
Each year
$343
208 sessions, 312 hours, 1,872 kWh.
Read these as upper limits, not predictions: when the cabin reaches its set temperature, the heater cycles on and off to hold it instead of running continuously. Split across four people, a session costs about 41 cents each. Put your own rate in place of 18.34 cents to see your figure.

Assembly
SunRay Tiburon sauna assembly: how the cabin goes together
The manual has a separate sequence for the 400SN, working from the front of the cabin to the back.
Fix the two front side panels to the front panel, then add the two middle side panels, then the two side walls, and close the shape with the back panel. The top panel goes on, and the ground panels go down. Inside, place the low and high vertical seat panels, then the low and high horizontal seats on top of them.
The heater follows the same pattern as in the Baldwin and the Southport: screw the rack to the wall, the electrician connects the heater, it hangs on the rack and locks with a screw, and the safety railing goes around it. The light and the temperature sensor finish the job.
SunRay's manual sets two adults as the minimum crew.
Delivery day
SunRay Tiburon sauna delivery: about 600 pounds of cartons at the curb
Free freight to the curb in the lower 48, unloaded from a lift gate truck. SunRay's product sheet gives the shipping weight as 599 pounds, so plan the carry. The buy box estimates delivery in business days.
Before delivery
Book a helper or two for the day the carrier gives you, and clear a route to the room.
At the truck
An adult signs. First check every carton on all sides; photograph and note any crush, tear or wet patch on the receipt.
Before you build
Unpack and check the glass door and the larger wall panels before you fit anything together.
On returns: you have 20 days from the date the Tiburon ships, and the cabin must still be unassembled. If you simply change your mind, you pay the freight to send it back and a restocking fee of 20% may apply. We never deduct the original shipping.
Dimensions are in inches. The Charleston is the Tiburon's closest rival: four seats, two tiers and the same 6 kW heater, but in cedar, on 71 by 63 inches against the Tiburon's 63 by 69, and 1 inch taller, with its heater standing in a wooden frame and an upgraded door handle. The Galaxie is the four seat LX cabin, 14 inches shallower, adding a cultured stone back wall, color-changing LED lighting and Bluetooth audio. If three seats will do, the Hampton saves nearly 22 inches of depth.
SunRay applies a single warranty certificate to the Tiburon: ten years for the wood and glass, one year for the heater and every other part.
SunRay certificate, in short
Structural, 10 years
The wooden panels, flooring, ceiling and glass. SunRay covers the parts necessary for the repair, or sends a replacement sauna if it decides to
Parts and electronics, 1 year
Every sauna part, including the heater and all electrical components. SunRay replaces the part; the labor is yours
Limits
For home use only, and void in any commercial setting. Indoor saunas stay indoors
Transfer
None. Cover stays with the original customer at the original delivery address
Before relying on it, note three conditions. Surface cracks in the wood and minor blemishes do not count as defects. The interior is to be cleaned only with a water soluble cleaner suited to unfinished wood. And a repair you want reimbursed needs SunRay's written consent first. The full text is on the SunRay warranty policy page, and we will email the certificate if you ask.
Buyer questions
SunRay Tiburon 4 person indoor sauna: questions answered
What are the SunRay Tiburon's outside and inside dimensions?
Outside, 63 inches wide across the door wall, 69 deep and 79 high. Inside, 59 inches wide, 65 deep and 75 high. SunRay asks for 3 to 4 inches or more above the roof, so plan on a ceiling of at least 83 inches.
How many people fit in the SunRay Tiburon?
Four, across an upper and a lower bench with backrests. The two levels let people choose hotter or milder air, and with two people there is room to spread out.
What power does the SunRay Tiburon need?
A dedicated 240 volt circuit for its 6 kW Harvia heater, hard-wired by a licensed electrician. The electrician sizes the circuit from the Harvia heater manual and the National Electrical Code; it cannot run from a household outlet.
How long does the SunRay Tiburon take to heat, and how hot does it go?
Allow 45 to 60 minutes: SunRay's Harvia heater sheet gives that as the time to a usable temperature, with a cold room at the long end. It reaches up to 170 F, SunRay's stated maximum, and SunRay gives 160 to 170 F as the normal operating range.
What does the SunRay Tiburon warranty cover?
SunRay's certificate covers the wooden panels, flooring, ceiling and glass for ten years, and all sauna parts including the heater and electrical components for one year. Parts only, labor excluded, for residential use by the original owner at the original address.
How is the SunRay Tiburon shipped, and how heavy is it?
It ships free by freight to the curb in the lower 48, on a lift gate truck, at a shipping weight of 599 pounds. An adult must sign, after checking every carton, and any visible damage goes on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves.
Is the SunRay Tiburon heater 6 kW?
Yes. SunRay's product page, the specifications on its October 2024 data sheet and the title of its own Tiburon film all give 6 kW.
SunRay Tiburon or SunRay Charleston: which four person sauna?
Both seat four on two tiers with a 6 kW Harvia heater. The Tiburon is hemlock, 63 by 69 inches, with a wall mounted heater. The Charleston is cedar, 71 by 63 inches and 80 tall, with its heater in a wooden frame and an upgraded door handle.
