SunRay Shipping Policy
Free shipping to the contiguous 48 states on every SunRay sauna. SunRay saunas ship from SunRay's warehouse in Richmond, Virginia, and the delivery estimate on each product page is shown in business days.
Every sauna comes by freight. It ships as a kit rather than a finished room, as panels or as the staves of a barrel, in cartons strapped to a wooden pallet. The freight company calls before delivery to book a window, and someone has to be there to inspect the shipment and sign for it. Delivery is curbside: residential deliveries come on a truck with a lift gate, and the driver leaves the pallet at the curb and does not carry it inside. Plan for two or more people to move the cartons to where the sauna will stand.
Measure your access first. The narrowest gate, doorway or stair turn on the route from the curb matters more than the finished footprint. If the freight company cannot reach your property, SunRay may need a smaller vehicle or a third party carrier, which can carry an extra charge; we tell you about it before the delivery is booked. Tell us when you order about a narrow road, a gated community or a steep drive.
Inspect before you sign. Note any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, be specific rather than writing subject to inspection, and photograph the cartons and the contents. If a carton or the pallet is punctured, crushed or heavily damaged, refuse it and call us while the driver is still there, so we can authorize the refusal and start the replacement. For minor damage, call us before the driver leaves and we decide together whether to accept it. Report damage found after unpacking within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs and before the sauna is assembled. Freight damage is not covered by the SunRay warranty.
When it ships. In-stock saunas usually leave SunRay's warehouse within 1 to 2 business days of SunRay receiving the order, and you get a tracking email when it leaves. If your model is out of stock, we tell you the new date before anything ships. Working to a deadline? Ask us first.
Where we ship. The contiguous 48 states. We do not ship SunRay to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, and freight cannot go to a P.O. box.
Not included: the electrical work and the assembly. Every SunRay sauna needs a dedicated circuit, and each product page gives the supply for its model: the traditional saunas run on a Harvia heater that a licensed electrician hardwires to 240 V. Book the electrician for after the sauna arrives. If you would rather not build it yourself, professional setup and assembly is available on the indoor saunas, and on the outdoor and barrel models it may be available by individual quote, subject to availability.
