How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free to the contiguous 48. Every Power Plate model we sell ships free within the contiguous 48 states.
How it arrives. The pro and my series platforms travel by freight; the MOVE, the Personal Power Plate and the REV travel by a carrier Power Plate selects. These are heavy machines, so plan for someone to be there to receive the delivery and sign for it.
Check your access first. Power Plate's manuals say never to lift or move a platform without assistance, and its dealer terms include no inside delivery or placement. Check door widths, steps and turns between the delivery point and the room, and ask us before you order if you need the machine carried inside.
When it ships. Power Plate publishes a lead time of usually within 4 weeks and treats every shipping date as an estimate. We confirm your delivery date once the order is placed and pass on the carrier's appointment details as soon as we have them. If a date does not work, tell us straight away.
Where it ships. Free shipping covers the contiguous 48 states. Power Plate charges extra for Alaska, Hawaii and Canada, so those are quoted case by case: contact us before ordering.
If it arrives damaged. Check the shipment with the driver still there, write any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, and photograph the packaging and the machine. Then call us the same day and we handle the carrier claim. Power Plate's manuals say never to run a machine that has been dropped, tipped over or damaged until an authorized Power Plate service professional has checked it.
What does the warranty cover?

Coverage by model. pro8, my8, pro5, pro5HP, my5 and MOVE: 3 years on hardware, 1 year on electronics, 1 year on labor. REV: 2 years on the frame and gearbox, 1 year on electronics, 6 months on wear parts. Personal Power Plate: 1 year on hardware, electronics and labor.
From the date of purchase. Keep your order confirmation. The terms cover machines bought, delivered and used in the United States.
What is covered. A machine Power Plate finds defective as a result of manufacturing. Power Plate chooses whether to repair it, replace it or refund the purchase price, and that is the remedy the warranty gives.
What is not. Faults caused by improper use, storage or handling, by not maintaining the machine with reasonable care, or by abnormal conditions including abuse, neglect or catastrophe.
Two things void it. The pro8 and my8 manuals say pulling the proMOTION cables past the colored line voids the warranty, and that unauthorized changes or maintenance could void it. There are no user serviceable parts inside, so any service goes to an authorized Power Plate service professional.
Business use. Power Plate's terms limit the warranty to machines bought for resale or for use in that business. How that applies to a particular gym, studio or clinic is something we confirm with Power Plate before you order, so ask us first.
Who handles it. Performance Health Systems, the company behind Power Plate, is the warrantor and we handle every claim for you. Call (888) 500-5675 with your order number, model, serial number and photographs.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. The machine must be in new condition with all its accessories. Any damage to the machine while it was in your hands may be deducted from the refund, so keep the packaging until you are sure you are keeping it.
What a return costs. A restocking fee may apply: 15 percent of the purchase price on an opened machine and 5 percent on one still unopened in its packaging. The free shipping on your original order is never deducted.
Who pays the freight. You do on a change of mind. Power Plate's refund policy says its My Series and Pro Series platforms must be delivered, installed and picked up by Power Plate authorized partners if returned, so we arrange it and give you the return freight figure before the pickup is booked.
When the cause is ours. If it is shipping damage or an error on our side, we cover the return and nothing is deducted, and no restocking fee applies to documented freight damage.
Damaged on arrival. A different and faster process. Note it on the delivery receipt before signing, photograph the packaging and the machine, and call us the same day. We handle the carrier claim.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee before we place the order with Power Plate. After that an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, we waive it whenever we are not charged, and there is no fee at all if we miss the ship date we gave you.
Accessories, and how to start. Same 30 day window, but Power Plate accepts accessories back only unopened and unused. Call (888) 500-5675; a Return Authorization number is required before anything goes back.

Compact whole body vibration, no column
The Power Plate MOVE whole body vibration plate
The MOVE is a low, compact vibration platform: 30 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 9 inches tall, with six preset levels from 30 to 40 Hz and a maximum load of 300 lb. With no column above it, you can stand, sit or hold a plank on it, and Power Plate says it is light enough to move from room to room.
Each session is three steps: choose a level, press start, then hold or move through an exercise while the timer counts up. The four button console lives on the platform and the remote control goes wherever you are. Four finishes are offered: black, red, titanium and wood.

Before you order
Where the MOVE goes
The MOVE itself covers 30 by 24 inches of floor. Plan the room around the three foot clear zone Power Plate asks for on every side.
The floor
Power Plate's manual calls for a hard, level surface, with no obstructions within three feet of the platform. Carpet is not mentioned either way, so if carpet is all you have, check with us first.
Inside, not out
The manual rules out outdoor use and any spot near a pool, a water source or extreme humidity, since water can short circuit the machine. Its operating range is 59 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, which an unheated garage or basement can miss in winter. Leave the plug where you can reach it: pulling it is how the MOVE is disconnected.
Carrying it between rooms
At 85 lb it can go from room to room, but it is not a light lift. The manual warns never to lift or move it in an unsafe manner, so bring in a helper for stairs and doorways.
What it costs to run
The current sell sheet lists 180 watts in operation, and the 2019 manual lists up to 285 watts. At 285 watts and the June 2026 US average of 18.34 cents per kilowatt hour (EIA), a full hour comes to about 5 cents.
Who it suits
Who should use the MOVE, and who needs a doctor's approval
The MOVE manual names its users as adult men and women who are medically cleared for weight bearing exercise, which in general covers healthy adults. Anyone else needs their physician's clearance and should train only under adult medical supervision.
Power Plate's physician-reviewed guidance: "You should not use a vibration plate without your doctor's approval if you: are pregnant; have a pacemaker or implanted medical device; have cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or serious heart conditions; have had recent surgery, especially joint replacements or spinal procedures; have deep vein thrombosis (DVT), blood clots, or clotting disorders." No list covers every condition, so your own doctor decides.
The manual asks for a physician's clearance before any new exercise program. If you feel dizzy, faint, short of breath or any pain, stop at once and consult a physician. Watch how your body reacts on the plate and do not push to exhaustion, which the manual warns could cause injury. Close supervision is required whenever the MOVE is used by, or near, children or disabled persons.
Your position on the plate
The MOVE manual asks you not to lean back on your heels, lock your joints or straighten your legs while standing. Keep knees over toes, joints slightly bent and your weight on the front of your feet. Stay near the middle: weight close to the edge can make the MOVE unstable. Hold off on dumbbells or a weight vest unless a trainer is coaching you or you have long experience with weights or with Power Plate.
On the platform, wear rubber soled shoes. Training barefoot or in socks, or with a hand, knee or your back on the plate, put the supplied mat down first, since it dampens the vibration. Drink water before, during and after a session.
Rules from the MOVE manual
- While it runs, keep hands out from under it, never tip it on its side, and push nothing into its openings.
- Fit only the accessories supplied with it or approved by Power Plate.
- After a drop, a tip over, damage or any contact with water, leave it off until an authorized Power Plate service professional says it is safe to use.
- If something falls into the machine, switch it off and unplug the power cord before reaching for it; if you cannot reach it, call an authorized Power Plate service professional.
- Follow the directions in the manual, check the MOVE is working properly before every session, and have it examined regularly for damage and wear.
- Unplug the machine when it is not in use.
- Do not try to fix electrical problems with the power supply yourself; the manual recommends a licensed professional electrician.
- Keep it away from flammable anesthetic gases mixed with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide; the manual rules that use out.
- Share these warnings with anyone else who uses it.
How it works
How the MOVE's six levels work
Rather than dialing in numbers, you step through six fixed levels, each pairing a frequency with an amplitude.
Frequency is the number of vibrations per second, and the MOVE offers 30, 35 and 40 Hz. Amplitude is how far the plate travels up and down on each vibration, low or high. The manual lists the levels like this:
- Levels 1, 2 and 3. 30, 35 and 40 Hz at low amplitude.
- Levels 4, 5 and 6. 30, 35 and 40 Hz at high amplitude.
Plus and minus move you up or down one level, and lights on the console mark the level you are on. The timer counts up from zero and runs to 9 minutes without stopping.
Muscles under tension
Power Plate's manual explains that tensed muscles absorb the vibration, so the work comes from holding a squat, lunge or plank with the muscles engaged and the joints soft. For amplitude, the manual pairs low with stretching and relaxation, low building to high with strength exercises, and high with massage. After a step up to high amplitude, it suggests a lower frequency, less volume and longer rests for a while.
What sets the MOVE apart
A low platform with no column
Power Plate's column models (my5, my8, pro5, pro8) mount their console on a column with handlebars. On the MOVE the console is part of the platform, and the space above is open.
The manual expects you to be balanced whether you are standing, sitting, leaning, lying down or in a push up or plank position on it. The quick start guide adds hip flexor, inner thigh and hamstring stretches, squats, push ups, bicep curls and massage for the quads, IT band and hamstrings.
With no handlebars, there is nothing to hold, so step on and off with care. If you want support while standing, Power Plate sells a MOVE Stability Bar separately; ask us about it when you order.
Straps instead of cables
The MOVE has no resistance cables. Its two handled straps fasten to attachment points on the platform for static strap work.
The controls
The MOVE console and remote control
- Start. Begins the vibration and sets the timer counting.
- Pause or stop. One press halts the vibration and holds the timer; a second press ends the session and clears it.
- Minus and plus. Drop or raise the level by one.
- Remote control. A key ring remote with start and stop, repeat, 30 or 60 second preset intervals, and low or high intensity.
A rocker switch low on the back of the console turns the power on and off. Power Plate lists no touchscreen or built in programs for the MOVE.

Care and cleaning
Nothing inside the MOVE is user serviceable. Unplug it and give it a minute before any cleaning. Wipe the finish with a damp cloth, brush the platform and mat with a soft brush, and use only a dry cloth on electrical parts. Apply cleaner to the cloth, never straight onto the machine, and avoid sharp tools, scrubbers and acid based detergents, which harm the lacquer. If it rattles, the manual says to unplug it, wait a minute and check that the feet are tight. For anything else, call an authorized Power Plate service professional: unauthorized changes or maintenance could void the warranty.
