SaunaLife saunas, showers and tubs ship by freight, not parcel. A cabin leaves the warehouse on a pallet weighing anywhere from a quarter of a ton to well over a ton, so freight is quoted per model and charged at checkout rather than folded into the price. What freight costs. Rates are set by SaunaLife and are the same wherever you buy: 495 dollars on the immersion tubs, 695 on the tub and chiller packages, 950 on most saunas and the barrel shower, and 1,990 on the largest cabins, the G6, the G11 and the CL12GCP. You will see the exact figure at checkout before you pay.

How it arrives. Most models ship palletized on an LTL carrier. The largest cabins move on a flat bed truck. Either way the carrier calls to arrange an appointment window, someone must be there to sign, and delivery is to the curb. The driver will not bring a pallet up a drive or through a gate, and a crated cabin is too heavy to carry in one piece, so plan on two people breaking the pallet down at the curb.

Measure your access first. Pallets on this range run up to 81 inches wide. A standard side gate is narrower than that, so check the route from where a truck can stop to where the sauna will sit before you order. If access is tight, tell us and we will talk through the options rather than let you find out on delivery day.

Where it ships from, and where it ships to. SaunaLife stock for this market ships from Wheeling, Illinois. Rates above are the contiguous 48 states. Canada is higher and set by SaunaLife: 695 dollars on the immersion tubs, 895 on the tub and chiller packages, 1,250 on most saunas and 2,490 on the largest cabins. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are always quoted case by case, so contact us before ordering.

Inspect before you sign. Check every crate with the driver still there and write any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign. SaunaLife's warranty specifically excludes damage that would have been visible on inspection before installation, so a clean signature can cost you the claim. If anything looks wrong, call us from the driveway.

Lead times. Stock moves through a US distributor and most models ship promptly, but availability changes week to week across a range this size. We confirm the position for your model when you order rather than publishing an average that would be wrong for half the catalogue.

SaunaLife warrants its saunas, barrel showers and immersion tubs against defects in workmanship under normal conditions of use for two years in residential applications, from the date you take delivery. Cover extends to the original retail purchaser, so keep your receipt.

What is covered. Any factory assembled component SaunaLife judges defective in workmanship. SaunaLife chooses whether to repair or replace, and may substitute a component of equivalent value. A replaced part carries the remaining portion of the original two years rather than starting a fresh term.

What is not. Normal material wear, user damage, and natural weathering of the lumber. Installation and delivery are excluded, so the labour of building the sauna sits outside the warranty even when a covered part fails. Seasonal movement, small checks along a stave and colour change in sunlight are how thermally treated wood behaves and are not defects.

Transport damage has to be caught on delivery. Damage that would have been detectable by visual inspection before installation is excluded. Inspect the crates with the driver, write any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, and photograph everything before you move it. Once panels are assembled, a claim for damage that was visible beforehand is very hard to win.

Accessories and care products. SaunaLife accessories carry one year in residential use. Sauna cleaners, wax, paint and paraffin oil carry 60 days. Neither covers use outside a sauna.

Heaters are covered by their own maker. A SaunaLife sauna does not include a heater, so the heater, its control unit and its stones fall under that manufacturer's warranty. We will point you to the right document for the model you choose.

How to make a claim. Call (888) 500-5675 or email sales@recoveryroomdirect.com with your order number, photographs and a description of the fault. We handle the claim with SaunaLife for you. A return authorization is issued before any component goes back.

This summary reflects SaunaLife's published limited warranty. The manufacturer's written document governs any claim.

If a SaunaLife sauna, shower or tub is not right, you have 30 days from purchase to return it. All return communication is handled by our team at Recovery Room Direct. You do not need to contact the manufacturer or the distributor yourself.

Condition required. The unit must be new, uninstalled and in resalable condition with its original crating and all included parts. Once panels have been screwed together, a tub has been filled, or a stove has been fired, the product counts as installed and cannot be returned.

How to start a return. Call (888) 500-5675 or email sales@recoveryroomdirect.com with your order number. A Return Authorization number is required before anything goes back, and product returned without one can be refused. We will give you the RA number and the return address.

What a return costs. A 20 percent restocking fee is deducted from your refund on a standard customer return.

Who pays the freight. On a change of mind you pay the return freight, and on a crated sauna that is a real number rather than a formality, so ask us for a figure before you commit. The outbound freight you paid at checkout is a service already performed and is not refunded either. When the cause is shipping damage or an error on our side, we and the distributor cover the return and nothing is deducted.

Damaged on arrival is a different process, and it is time sensitive. Note the damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, photograph the crates before you move anything, and call us the same day. Transit damage is resolved by replacement parts rather than by return, and a claim needs photographs plus proof that damage was noted at the signature.

Cancelling before it ships. Call us as early as you can, because what a cancellation costs depends on how far your order has progressed. Before we submit it to the manufacturer there is no fee at all. After we submit it but before it ships, a 5 percent administrative fee may apply, and we waive it whenever we are not charged. Either way there is no restocking fee and no freight to pay.

Heaters and accessories. Items bought alongside a sauna follow their own brand's policy. A heater that has been wired in or fired cannot be returned.
