Send us a link to the lower price. If it is the same model, new and in stock at an authorized U.S. online retailer, we match it. Already ordered? If it was lower on your order date, claim the difference within 30 days.
Excludes sale pricing, marketplace sellers and later price drops.
Free shipping to the contiguous 48. On every SunRay sauna, by freight from Richmond, Virginia. The estimate on each product page is in business days.
Freight to the curb. A kit of panels or barrel staves, in cartons on a pallet. The freight company calls to book a window, someone signs, and residential deliveries come on a lift gate truck. Plan for two or more people.
Hard to reach addresses. If a truck cannot reach you, a smaller vehicle may cost extra, and we tell you before the delivery is booked.
When it ships. In-stock saunas usually leave SunRay's warehouse within 1 to 2 business days of SunRay receiving the order, and you get a tracking email when it leaves.
If it arrives damaged. Note it on the delivery receipt before signing and photograph it. Refuse a punctured or crushed pallet and call us while the driver is there; for minor damage, call before the driver leaves. Report anything found after unpacking within 48 hours.
Where we ship. The contiguous 48 states. We do not ship SunRay to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Not included: the electrical work and the assembly. A licensed electrician hardwires the Harvia heater on a traditional sauna to 240 V. Professional setup and assembly is available on the indoor saunas, and by quote on the others.
Structure: 10 years. The wooden panels, floor, ceiling and glass, from the original date of purchase, for the parts needed to repair a defect. If a structural defect cannot be fixed with a part, SunRay may send a replacement sauna; assembling it is then your cost.
Parts and electronics: 1 year. Every other part, including the heater and the electrical components. Parts replacement only: labor for fitting a part is not covered.
Not covered. Alteration, neglect, misuse, freight damage caused by the carrier, accidents and acts of God. Surface cracks and minor blemishes in the wood are natural, not defects. Report delivery damage within 48 hours, before assembly.
Two conditions decide most claims. Residential use only, because a commercial setting voids the warranty. And installed, run and maintained to the instructions: indoor saunas stay indoors, and an outdoor sauna without a weather cover needs its exterior resealed every year.
Who is covered. The original customer at the original delivery address. The warranty cannot be transferred.
Ask before a repair. Get SunRay's written consent before any repair you expect to be reimbursed. SunRay decides the cause of a fault and whether to repair or replace.
Who handles it. We are a factory-authorized SunRay dealer and file the claim for you. Call us with your order number, the model and photographs.
20 days from the ship date. New, unassembled and resalable; the ship date is in your tracking email. We handle the return, so you do not contact SunRay.
Unassembled means returnable. In its original packaging and crate with the manuals and accessories. A sauna that has been assembled, wired in or heated cannot go back.
What a return costs. A restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price may apply on a change-of-mind return. There is none on a documented freight damage claim.
Who pays the return freight. You do on a change of mind. We cover it when the cause is shipping damage or our error.
Original shipping. We never deduct the original shipping from your refund.
Damaged on arrival. A different and faster process. Note it before signing and photograph it. Refuse a punctured or crushed pallet and call us while the driver is there. Report anything found after unpacking within 48 hours.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee before we place the order with SunRay. After that an administrative fee of up to 5% may apply, and we waive it whenever we are not charged. If we miss our own ship date, you cancel with no fee.
To start a return. Call us for a Return Authorization number before anything ships back. Refunds go to the original payment method within 7 business days of the return being received and inspected.
The SunRay Cayenne is a 4 person outdoor infrared sauna with ten far-infrared heaters
SunRay's 400D3 Cayenne is the four seat version of its pitched roof outdoor cabin: 79 inches wide, built in hemlock, with ten far-infrared heaters around the walls and bench. It warms to about 140 F. Unlike the smaller D3 models it needs a 240 V dedicated circuit, and in return it gives a family or a group of friends a bench long enough to sit four abreast.
Seats four
Four adults
A 65 by 48 inch interior with 68 inches of headroom, for up to four adults side by side.
Heat all around
10 heaters
SunRay lists ten far-infrared heaters for the Cayenne, and the room settles at about 140 F.
Quick to warm
8 to 15 minutes
SunRay's D3 manual allows about 8 to 15 minutes of warm-up, so a session for four can start soon after you switch on.

How four people use 65 inches
The bench spans the back wall, and the interior is 48 inches deep, which leaves legroom in front of the bench for four seated adults. The 68 inch ceiling is the same as on the Burlington and Grandby: comfortable seated, not meant for standing tall.
Ten heaters
Inside the SunRay Cayenne: far-infrared heat for four
Ten heaters, a room that tops out around 140 F, and a dry cabin.
SunRay's product page, and its earlier Cayenne page, both list ten far-infrared heaters. They come fitted in the panels, and you plug them together at the bench during assembly. Set the temperature, and SunRay's D3 manual allows about 8 to 15 minutes of warm-up, with 120 to 140 F as the usual range. At the set point the heaters cycle off and on to hold the room steady.
Infrared heats the people on the bench as well as the air, so the cabin runs well below the air temperature of a Finnish sauna. There is no ladle and no steam here. For both kinds of heat side by side, read our infrared vs traditional sauna comparison.
The controls
The D3 manual gives the Cayenne's digital control panel a power button, a session timer, temperature with a Fahrenheit or Celsius display, a color-changing LED light with seven colors, a switch for the interior light, and a music control. Bluetooth pairs under the name "audio", and a USB stick plays straight from the panel.
Construction
The SunRay Cayenne outdoor sauna build: hemlock, metal, sealant
A hemlock cabin, a metal roof fixed and sealed on site, and a finish that needs one coat of sealer a year.
The timber and its upkeep
Walls, floor and bench are hemlock. SunRay seals the exterior before shipping and its manual recommends resealing every year, or whenever the surface starts to dry out. On an outdoor sauna kept without a weather cover, SunRay's warranty certificate makes that annual reseal the owner's responsibility, so it is the one maintenance job worth putting on the calendar.
Roof and ventilation
The roof is metal, laid in two panels over the interior ceiling and screwed down, with sealant run between the panels and along the inside edges of the cover. A vent in the ceiling can be opened to let heat out during a session.
Comforts
Recessed interior lighting, a reading light, the color-changing LED light, cup holders, a backrest and a Bluetooth speaker system.
A slim heater panel standing in the Cayenne's front corner, beside the door.
The SunRay Cayenne checklist: base, roof room and a 240 V circuit
Six things to settle before the freight is booked; the circuit takes longest.
A level baseSunRay's manual lists a wooden deck, a concrete pad or pavers. Over pavers or damp ground, put a moisture barrier under the floor
89 by 67 inches clearThe roof footprint, plus 87 inches of height away from eaves and branches
A 240 V dedicated circuitRun by a licensed electrician to an outlet beside the cabin, serving nothing else
A path from the curbThe shipment weighs about 725 pounds in all and is left at the curb
Hands and sealantAt least two adults, with sealant and a caulking gun for the joints the manual calls out
Permit and setback checkA 240 V outdoor circuit and a permanent cabin can both fall under local rules, so ask your building department and HOA what applies at your address
Why the Cayenne is a 240 V sauna
At 2,400 watts the Cayenne draws more than a household outlet should carry through a long session, so it runs on 240 V, the voltage on SunRay's Cayenne spec sheet.
SunRay's D3 manual connects the sauna to a dedicated outlet, and no SunRay document names the 240 V plug type. Your electrician matches the receptacle to the plug on the cabin when it arrives and sizes the circuit to the NEC and your local code.
Book the electrician before delivery, not after. Give your electrician the figures: 2,400 W, 240 V, a circuit and outlet dedicated to the sauna.
Running cost
Cost to run the SunRay Cayenne per session
Calculated at SunRay's 2,400 watts, which is 2.4 kilowatts, and 18.34 cents per kilowatt hour, the US residential average in the EIA Electric Power Monthly for June 2026.
A session
33 cents
A 15 minute warm-up and a 30 minute sit, the session length SunRay's manual recommends not exceeding: 1.8 kilowatt hours.
Monthly
$3.96
Twelve sessions, about three a week, using 21.6 kilowatt hours.
Yearly
$47.54
Twelve sessions a month, every month: 259.2 kilowatt hours.
Each figure assumes full power for all 45 minutes. The heaters cycle once the room reaches its setting, so your bill should come in under this. Four people cost the same as one.

Assembly
Assembling the SunRay Cayenne 4 person sauna
Latch the walls, plug in the heaters, screw on the roof, seal the joints.
SunRay's manual calls for two adults or more. The floor goes on the prepared base first, over a moisture barrier where the surface is pavers or damp. Every wall gets sealant along its bottom edge before it is placed. The back wall stands up first; the side walls latch to the floor; the front wall latches between them.
Then the bench. The vertical bench panel goes in, the heater plugs are connected inside it, and the bench top is screwed down. After the backrest and door handle are fixed, the interior ceiling is lifted into place and the leads for the color light and reading light are fed out to meet their partners above. The two metal roof panels follow, with sealant between them before and after the screws go in, then the roof cover, sealed along its inside edges, and finally sealant on the outside joints the manual marks.
Choose a dry day so the sealant sets before the first rain.
Delivery day
Taking delivery of the SunRay Cayenne outdoor infrared sauna
Freight is free to the lower 48. The Cayenne comes to the curb on a lift gate truck; the buy box gives the estimate in business days.
The day before
The carrier will have called to fix a window. Make sure an adult is home to sign, and that helpers are lined up for about 725 pounds of freight.
At the truck
Check the pallet and every carton before you sign. Photograph any crushed corner, puncture or damp patch and note it on the delivery receipt.
Unpacking
Open the cartons on a dry surface and inspect the panels, the glass and the roof sheets before the packaging is thrown away.
Visible damage goes on the delivery receipt before the driver drives off. Call us at (888) 500-5675 with the truck still there so we can decide with you whether to accept the shipment. Terms are in the SunRay shipping policy.
Returns. The window is 20 days from the date it ships, with the cabin unassembled and in its original crate. A change-of-mind return means you pay the return freight and a 20% restocking fee may apply, and the original shipping is never deducted. Full steps: the SunRay return policy.
Between the Cayenne and the Pacific, choose on shape and power. The Cayenne is wider and shallower, with a pitched roof. The Pacific is deeper, has five more inches of interior height and a modern flat roof, and draws twice the wattage on its own 240 V circuit. If three seats will do and 120 V is all the site has, the Grandby is the one to look at.
SunRay's single warranty certificate applies, with a long term for the cabin and a short one for the electrics.
SunRay Saunas Warranty Certificate
Cabin structure
10 years from purchase on the wooden panels, floor, ceiling and glass; SunRay supplies the parts needed to repair them
Heaters and electrics
1 year on the heaters and all electrical components, replacement parts only, labor excluded
Setting
Residential only; commercial use voids the warranty
Upkeep
Reseal the exterior every year when there is no weather cover
Transfer
None: original buyer, original delivery address
SunRay does not count small surface cracks or blemishes in the wood as defects. If something goes wrong, contact us rather than SunRay, with your order number and photos, and we manage the claim. The complete wording is in the SunRay warranty policy, and we can send the certificate before you buy.
Buyer questions
Questions about the SunRay Cayenne 4 person outdoor sauna
What size is the SunRay Cayenne?
The Cayenne cabin is 79 inches wide, 52 deep and 87 tall at the ridge, and its metal roof covers 89 by 67 inches. Inside it is 65 by 48 inches with a 68 inch ceiling, enough for four adults on the rear bench. Plan the pad or deck to the 89 by 67 inch roof footprint.
What electrical service does the SunRay Cayenne need?
A 240 V dedicated circuit, installed by a licensed electrician, for a load of 2,400 watts. SunRay's current page says 120 V, but at 2,400 watts that would use a household circuit's full rating, and SunRay's spec sheet and earlier page give 220 to 240 V. No SunRay document names the plug, so the electrician matches the outlet on delivery.
How many heaters does the SunRay Cayenne have, and how hot does it get?
SunRay lists ten far-infrared heaters; SunRay's photos show them behind the backrest, in the bench front and in the corners. The cabin heats to about 140 F. SunRay's D3 manual suggests a setting of 120 to 140 F and allows about 8 to 15 minutes to warm up, after which the heaters cycle to hold the temperature.
Does the SunRay Cayenne have a traditional heater with stones?
No. The Cayenne is a dry far-infrared sauna: no stove, no stones and no water, so it makes no steam. SunRay's manual warns that excess water can stain or warp the wood. If you want to pour water for steam, look at a traditional sauna with an electric heater instead.
How long is the SunRay Cayenne warranty?
Ten years on the cabin structure, meaning the wooden panels, floor, ceiling and glass, and one year on the heaters and electrical parts, parts only. It covers home use by the original buyer, and an outdoor sauna without a weather cover must have its exterior resealed each year, as SunRay's certificate requires of the owner.
How is the SunRay Cayenne shipped?
By freight, free to the lower 48, in flat panels with a shipping weight of 725 pounds. A lift gate truck brings it to the curb, the carrier calls to book the day, and an adult has to sign. Note any damage you can see on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves, then call us.
How many people are needed to build the SunRay Cayenne?
SunRay's manual says at least two adults. The walls latch together, the heater plugs connect at the bench, and the metal roof screws down, with sealant at the wall bottoms, the roof seams and the outside joints.
Does the SunRay Cayenne have Bluetooth?
Yes. A phone pairs with the Cayenne's speakers over Bluetooth, where the cabin shows up as "audio", or you can play music from a USB stick at the control panel. The cabin also has a recessed interior light, a reading light and color-changing LED lighting.

So far, very pleased with sauna. It was packed very well and easy to put together. … Sauna heats up quickly and has a built in timer that automatically turns sauna off at the end.
Delivery was on time and without damage, with Sauna components neatly and safely packaged. Setup was also straightforward. … An excellent purchase through and through!
