Ships from Wheeling, Illinois. Free to the contiguous 48 above our free shipping threshold. A small accessory can fall below it and then a flat charge applies, shown at checkout before you pay.
How it arrives. The DROP comes by ground parcel, with no appointment and nobody home. CLIFF, STEEL, HIVE and CORE come palletized by freight, including the wall mounted Mini models: the carrier calls to book a window, someone has to sign, and it is a curbside drop rather than inside.
Stone ships in its own boxes. A heater takes 3 to 16 boxes at 33 pounds each. Stone added from a HUUM heater's own page ships free with that heater; ordered on its own it is charged per box at checkout. The quantity is set by the heater, not the room.
When it ships. The estimate on each product page is the distributor's usual dispatch time for stocked items. Stock moves, so we confirm the current position when you order. Working to a deadline? Ask us first.
If it arrives damaged. Note it on the delivery paperwork, photograph the carton and the contents, and tell us the same day. Report damage within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs and before the heater is installed: that is our window, and because it is shorter than HUUM's 7 days it is the one that applies to the HUUM warranty too. Refuse a carton or pallet that is punctured, crushed or structurally damaged.
Where we ship. The contiguous 48 states. We do not ship HUUM to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Not included: the electrical work. A HUUM heater is hardwired by a licensed electrician, and the clearances and cable entry are set by the model, so book the electrician for after the heater arrives.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
Private use. 3 years on electric heaters, wood stoves and controls, and 1 year on spare parts, running from your purchase date. Keep the receipt and your electrician's invoice.
Commercial use. 1 year on all of them. HUUM treats it as commercial if a business uses the product commercially, if a private owner uses it commercially, or if a private owner runs it more than 1,500 hours in any 12 months, so a gym, studio or rental is commercial from day one.
What is covered. Defects in materials and workmanship. HUUM decides whether to repair, replace, refund or, with your agreement, reduce the price, and it arranges and pays for any transport it needs. A replaced part does not restart the clock.
Excluded, the ones that matter most. Heating elements, all sensors, sauna stones, accessories, and a wood stove's door glass and ash grate. Also normal wear, damage from poor ventilation or constant damp, power surges and overheating, non-HUUM parts fitted without written approval, and a heater that was the wrong size for the room. Until it is installed it must be kept indoors, dry, ventilated and above freezing.
Two conditions decide most claims. The heater must be installed and connected by a licensed electrician, to HUUM's manual and your local codes, and HUUM can ask for proof. Damage found on delivery must be reported to us within 48 hours and claimed with photographs before the product is installed. Any other fault: report it within 30 days of finding it.
If the fault turns out not to be covered. HUUM's terms let it charge for the work of diagnosing it. We will tell you as soon as HUUM tells us.
Who handles it. HUUM OU in Estonia is the warrantor and we file the claim for you, so you deal with us rather than with Estonia. Call (888) 500-5675 with your order number, the model and its serial number and photographs.
What if I need to return it?

30 days from purchase. New, uninstalled and resalable, in the original packaging with all parts. A heater that has been wired in, fired or loaded with stones counts as installed and cannot go back, and so does a control that has been wired in.
What it costs. Full credit for the product, less a repackaging fee of 20 to 50 dollars depending on the item. There is no percentage restocking fee on a standard return.
Who pays the freight. You do on a change of mind. We cover it when the cause is shipping damage or our error. Shipping you paid at checkout is not refunded on a change of mind return.
Damaged on arrival. A different and faster process. Note it on the delivery receipt before signing, photograph the carton and contents, and call us the same day. Report it within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs and before the product is installed.
Stones and spare parts. Stone is sold by weight and is not returnable once a box is opened. Heating elements, sensors and other spare parts cannot be returned once fitted.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee at all before we send the order to the distributor. After that an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, and we waive it when we are not charged ourselves.
To start a return. Call (888) 500-5675. A Return Authorization number is required before anything ships back. Refunds go to the original payment method within 7 business days of the return being received and inspected.

HUUM's matched control
The HUUM UKU Wi-Fi runs any HUUM electric heater from the wall or from your phone
Every HUUM electric heater needs a separate control, and the UKU is the one HUUM makes for them, and the controller SGS evaluated HUUM's DROP, CLIFF, STEEL and HIVE heaters with. The Wi-Fi version adds the HUUM app, so you can start the sauna on the way home and walk into a hot room.

Up to 11 kW alone
The main module runs every DROP, CLIFF, STEEL, HIVE Mini and CORE on its own. The HIVE 12, 15 and 18 also need the UKU extension box.

104 to 230°F
Set on the panel or in the app. The sauna's heating time is capped at 3 or 6 hours in a private sauna, a limit you choose in the panel's menu.
Finishes
Five panels
Black, thermo-ash wood, black glass, mirror or gold. The glass, mirror and gold panels are Wi-Fi only. The panel is also sold on its own, as a spare or a change of finish.

HUUM UKU Wi-Fi or UKU Local?
Underneath, both run the heater the same way. The difference is whether you want to reach the sauna from your phone, and which panels you can have.

If you have no Wi-Fi signal where the sauna is, or you simply do not want an app, the UKU Local is the sensible choice. If you want the room hot when you arrive, the UKU Wi-Fi is the one to buy. It needs a 2.4 GHz network at the main module: it will not join a 5 GHz network, and if your 2.4 and 5 GHz networks share a name the manual says to give the 2.4 GHz one its own.

Where the HUUM UKU Wi-Fi goes
A UKU is two parts: a main module that switches the heater, and the panel you touch. Both are wired in by a licensed electrician, at the same time as the heater.

A public sauna needs a separate timer. HUUM's manuals and the SGS listing both require an approved timer for public use. In a private sauna the UKU's own heating limit of 3 or 6 hours applies.

Which HUUM heaters the UKU Wi-Fi runs
All of them. The only question is output: the main module carries up to 11 kW, and above that the extension box takes the extra load.

Is it listed for use in the United States?
It is listed by SGS, not by UL. SGS, which is on OSHA's list of nationally recognized testing laboratories, lists the UKU Wi-Fi and UKU Local controllers for the United States and Canada under certificate SGSNA/20/SUW/00061X, to UL 60335-1 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 60335-1. The listing names the controller rather than each panel finish. For a public sauna it also requires an approved timer to UL and CSA 60730-1 and 60730-2-7, which the manual repeats. Inspectors differ on what they ask for, so check with yours before you buy.

Does the HUUM UKU Wi-Fi work with every HUUM heater?
Yes. The main module runs any HUUM electric heater up to 11 kW, which is every DROP, CLIFF, STEEL, HIVE Mini and CORE. The HIVE 12, 15 and 18 also need the UKU extension box.
Can the HUUM UKU Wi-Fi run a heater from another brand?
HUUM's manuals describe the UKU with HUUM heaters, and the SGS listing for HUUM's heaters was evaluated with the UKU. We sell it for HUUM heaters and would not recommend it for another brand without that maker's approval.
What temperature range does the HUUM UKU Wi-Fi allow?
104 to 230 degrees Fahrenheit (40 to 110 Celsius). On HUUM's newer UKU 4.2, fitting the optional bench sensor lowers the maximum to 194 degrees.
Does the HUUM UKU Wi-Fi work on a 5 GHz network?
No. HUUM's manual says the main module supports only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and that a 2.4 GHz network sharing a name with a 5 GHz or 6 GHz network should be renamed so the UKU can join it.
How many people can use the HUUM app on one sauna?
As many as you like. HUUM's manual says the number of user accounts linked to one sauna is not limited.
Where is the HUUM UKU Wi-Fi installed?
