The Vmax is Dreampod's flagship float pod and differs from the V2 and Sport in three key ways. First, the interior: at 7'10" × 5'4", the Vmax is large enough for two adults to float simultaneously — neither the V2 nor the Sport offers that capacity. Second, the Vmax includes dual chemical injection, a sanitation system that delivers two disinfectants simultaneously through the filtration cycle. The V2 also includes dual chemical injection; the Sport uses UV sanitation only. Third, the Vmax uses a larger magnetic drive pump motor, which handles the higher salt water volume of the bigger shell while maintaining the same 15-minute NAFTS-compliant filtration cycle time. Both the Vmax and V2 include TCP/IP web control; the Sport uses a wall panel only.

Yes. The 7'10" × 5'4" interior was designed with couple floating as one of its primary commercial use cases. Two adults can float side by side without touching. Most commercial operators who offer couple floats price them at 1.5 to 2 times the single-float rate — the same pod, the same session slot, significantly higher revenue. The Vmax is the only pod in the Dreampod line large enough to offer this service tier.

For context: the pod fills with approximately 500 kg of dissolved Epsom salt. The salt-saturated water is so dense that both floaters are fully supported at the surface simultaneously, with no swimming or effort required.

Electrical: the Dreampod Vmax requires a dedicated 220V / 60Hz / 15A circuit with a GFCI breaker. This is a 240-volt line — the same type used for electric dryers and ovens. It cannot run on a standard 120V household outlet. Your electrician should run this circuit before the pod arrives.

Plumbing: the Vmax does not require a floor drain or plumbing connection for normal operation. The salt water stays in the pod. You will need a garden hose connection for initial fill (filling 500 kg of dissolved Epsom salt takes several hours) and access to a drain for the rare full water change. Space: minimum 10' × 14' floor footprint with 7'+ ceiling clearance. The pod itself is 8'6" × 5'8" — allow adequate clearance on three sides for access and maintenance, and extra clearance at the door end for filtration unit access — Dreampod's installation guide specifies exact clearance requirements for your room layout.

Two separate dosing lines connect to the filtration circuit, each delivering a different disinfectant simultaneously during the filtration cycle — no manual mixing or separate dosing steps between sessions. Operators can run any approved two-chemical sanitation protocol (hydrogen peroxide + oxidizer, or any combination approved for commercial float tank operation in their jurisdiction).

Injection cycles are tracked automatically through the TCP/IP panel. The result: fewer manual interventions per day, more consistent water chemistry, and a sanitation log maintained automatically rather than by hand.

The Vmax connects to your local network via a CAT5 ethernet cable. Access the control panel from any web browser on the same network — laptop, desktop, iPhone, or iPad. No app download. No account creation. From the panel you can: start/stop filtration, adjust water temperature, program LED lighting, manage audio playlists, and view session logs for maintenance tracking.

Multi-pod operators assign each Vmax its own IP address and manage all units from one browser screen — no trips into the float room between clients. Note: TCP/IP is a local-network system only. It does not work over cellular unless your device is on the same network as the pod.

The Dreampod Vmax ships fully assembled. Installation: move the pod into your prepared room (pallet jack and 2–4 people required due to ~1,330 lb shipping weight), connect the 220V circuit and CAT5 ethernet, fill with water, and dissolve 500 kg of Epsom salt. Dreampod recommends hot water to accelerate dissolution. Most installs finish mechanical setup in one day, salt overnight, first sessions the following morning.

Lead time from order to delivery: typically 7–21 business days depending on US warehouse inventory. Have your 220V circuit, CAT5 ethernet, and a source for 500 kg of Epsom salt ready before delivery day.

The Dreampod Vmax carries a 1-year manufacturer's warranty. This covers defects in materials and workmanship in the pod shell, filtration system, heating element, pump, control system, and audio components.

We want to be transparent: the 1-year warranty is the shortest in the premium commercial float pod category. Competing brands offer 5–10 year structural warranties on their shells. Dreampod's position is that the fiberglass-and-foam construction is highly durable and that service response — including the example of flying a technician to a customer site in under 24 hours — compensates for the shorter warranty term. Check water pH and sanitizer levels at least twice per week (daily for commercial operations). Target pH: 7.2–7.8. The dual chemical injection system doses automatically during filtration cycles — monitor to confirm the system is dosing correctly.
