How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free ground shipping to the lower 48. Orders above the free shipping minimum ship free within the contiguous US by insured ground carrier. Smaller orders ship for a flat rate, and the exact figures are on the full policy below. Expedited and overnight options are available at checkout.
When it arrives. Orders are typically processed within 1 to 4 business days, and standard ground delivery takes 4 to 6 additional business days. You get a tracking number by email when your order ships. Transit times are carrier estimates.
How it arrives. Products ship in factory sealed packaging, and no delivery appointment is required; standard devices are left at the door, and larger items such as the JetBoots PRO Plus or Therabody Lounger may require a signature.
If it arrives damaged. Photograph the shipping box before opening, then photograph any damage inside and email the photos to us within 48 hours of delivery. We file the carrier claim and send a replacement or issue a full refund, your choice. Later reports cannot be guaranteed.
Where it ships. Hawaii, Alaska and US territories may be subject to additional shipping charges, so contact us before ordering. International shipping is not currently available.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
How long. Coverage begins on delivery to the original purchaser. Devices are covered for 1 year, which is every Therabody product we sell. Attachments and accessories are covered for 90 days, which Therabody defines as exclusively charging cables, removable components of the devices, adapters, carrying cases and charging stands. Anything not on that list is covered as a device.
What is covered. Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Therabody replaces products that prove defective during the warranty period. The remedy is replacement, not a refund, and a replacement continues the original warranty period rather than restarting it.
What is not. Purchases from unauthorized resellers, misuse or accident, liquid contact, cosmetic damage, normal wear, and unauthorized repairs. Consumable parts such as batteries and protective coatings are not covered, unless the failure was caused by a defect in materials or workmanship.
Buying here. Recovery Room Direct is an authorized Therabody retailer, so purchases here are warranty-eligible.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. The device must come back in like new condition in its original packaging, with all accessories, attachments, charging cables, carrying cases and documentation. Anything missing components, showing signs of use, or damaged cannot be returned.
What a return costs. A 20 percent restocking fee may apply. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility, and we recommend a trackable, insured carrier.
Non-returnable. Open box sale items are final sale, personalized or engraved devices cannot be returned, and individual accessories, attachments and replacement heads bought separately are non returnable under manufacturer policy.
Cancelling before it ships. Contact us as soon as possible. A cancellation before the order leaves the warehouse avoids all charges.
Warranty claims go straight to Therabody. Warranty claims are handled directly by Therabody rather than through us. Every Therabody device includes a 1 year limited warranty, and accessories and attachments are typically covered for 90 days. Claims are submitted directly to Therabody at returns.therabody.com, and full coverage applies because you bought from an authorized retailer.
To start a return. Email your order number and we issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number within one business day. Write it clearly on the outside of the package, because returns without a valid RMA will not be accepted. Refunds are issued within 5 business days of the return being received and inspected.

648 Medical-Grade LEDs. 9-Minute Sessions. Therabody’s Best LED Mask.
The TheraFace Mask is Therabody’s flagship full-face LED device. 648 LEDs across three clinically backed wavelengths — Blue, Red, and Red+Near-Infrared — with VibraWave vibration built in. Sessions run 3–9 minutes, battery lasts 120 minutes in LED mode, and it ships with a display stand. Everything in the Mask Glo, done better.
In Therabody’s clinical study, participants saw firmer, smoother, healthier-looking skin with a visible reduction in fine lines and dark spots in as little as 8 weeks. Shop Pay Installments financing also available at checkout. FDA Cleared, 1-year warranty, 30-day returns.

More LEDs, Faster Sessions, Twice the Battery
If you’re deciding between the TheraFace Mask and the TheraFace Mask Glo, here’s the honest comparison: the Mask has 648 LEDs vs. the Glo’s 504, runs sessions in 3–9 minutes vs. 12 minutes, and delivers approximately 120 minutes of battery life in LED mode (the Glo’s published battery is 60 minutes for a 12-minute session with vibration). The Mask also ships with a display stand; the Glo does not. The Glo is a great device at a lower price. The Mask is the right choice if you want the fastest treatment time, the longest battery, and the highest LED count Therabody makes.
Shop Pay Installments financing is available at checkout. The TheraFace Mask is FDA Cleared, backed by a 12-week clinical study, and ships with a 1-year warranty and 30-day return policy.
This is Therabody’s highest-tier full-face LED mask. If you want the best version, this is it.

How the TheraFace Mask Works: 648 LEDs, Three Modes, One 9-Minute Session
The TheraFace Mask delivers 648 medical-grade light sources across the full face simultaneously. The pre-set daily routine runs 9 minutes. VibraWave technology adds gentle vibration around the eyes and the top and back of the head to help ease facial tension and boost circulation around the eyes, browline, and scalp during each session.
†In a 12-week clinical study with 31 participants using the pre-set 9-minute daily treatment. Participants received compensation. 83% saw improvements in facial contour. Therabody states the device is clinically proven to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots, and to firm and smooth skin. Clinical study participants saw firmer, smoother skin with enhanced radiance in as little as 8 weeks. Individual results may vary.
What Makes the TheraFace Mask Worth the Premium
648 LEDs, 120-min battery, included display stand — the meaningful upgrades over the Mask Glo
648 LEDs & Clinically Studied Results
The TheraFace Mask delivers 648 medical-grade light sources — 144 more than the Mask Glo. In a 12-week clinical study with 31 participants following the pre-set 9-minute daily protocol, 83% saw improvements in facial contour. Therabody also states it is clinically proven to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots, and to firm and smooth skin. Individual results may vary.
Faster Sessions, Longer Battery
Sessions run 3–9 minutes vs. the Mask Glo’s 4–12 minutes — and the pre-set routine finishes in 9 minutes vs. the Glo’s 12-minute pre-set, saving 3 minutes every session. The battery delivers approximately 120 minutes in LED mode (vs. the Glo’s 60-minute battery for a 12-minute session with vibration), which means fewer charges and more sessions without plugging in.
VibraWave + Display Stand Included
VibraWave delivers a gentle vibration massage around the eyes and the top and back of the head during each session, helping ease facial tension and boost circulation around the eyes, browline, and scalp. The device ships with a display stand, which the Mask Glo does not include. Everything is hands-free: adjustable straps, no app needed, no complicated setup — put it on and let the 9-minute routine run.
Three Ways to Use the TheraFace Mask
Match the light mode to your skin goal — the pre-set 9-minute routine handles everything
Daily Anti-Aging (Red Mode)
Red light at 633 nm is the mode Therabody recommends for daily use targeting fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots. The pre-set 9-minute routine is built around consistent Red mode use. Put the mask on after cleansing — the pre-set session runs automatically, and you can apply moisturizer or serum immediately after. Research suggests LED therapy may support better topical absorption, making your existing skincare routine work harder without adding time.
Breakout Control (Blue Mode)
Blue light at 415 nm targets acne-causing bacteria. Use this mode when you notice active breakouts or feel one developing. Sessions can be run as short as 3 minutes or up to 9 minutes in this mode. This works at the surface and is not a substitute for dermatological treatment, but research suggests consistent blue LED use may help reduce mild-to-moderate acne. Rotate with Red mode depending on your skin’s needs — both are available on the same device.
Collagen & Radiance (Red + NIR Mode)
The Red+NIR combined mode (633 nm + 830 nm) is Therabody’s recommended setting for firming sagging skin, boosting radiance, and supporting deeper collagen production. Use this 2–3 times per week for targeted anti-aging sessions. The clinical study results — including skin firming and enhanced radiance — are associated with consistent device use across all light modes over the 12-week period.

TheraFace Mask FAQ
Is the TheraFace Mask HSA or FSA eligible?
This equipment is not named on published HSA or FSA eligibility lists. Some plans still reimburse with a Letter of Medical Necessity, so confirm with your plan administrator before you buy. We do not accept HSA or FSA cards at checkout. See how HSA and FSA reimbursement works here. For help, call us at (888) 500-5675.
What does each light mode do, and which one should I use?
Blue (415 nm) targets acne-causing bacteria — use this during breakouts or as a preventive routine if acne is your primary concern. Red (633 nm) is the recommended daily mode for fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots. The pre-set 9-minute routine is built around Red mode use. Red+NIR (633 nm + 830 nm) adds near-infrared light, which research suggests may support collagen production at a deeper tissue level — use this 2–3 times per week for skin firming and radiance. Most users rotate: Red daily, Red+NIR several times per week.
How long is each session? Can I adjust the time?
Session times range from 3 to 9 minutes. The pre-set daily routine is 9 minutes. The 60-minute vibration battery and 120-minute LED battery both support multiple sessions before needing a charge. Charge time is not published by Therabody. The device operates as a standalone unit — no Bluetooth or app required.
What is the difference between the TheraFace Mask and the TheraFace Mask Glo?
Both are full-face LED masks with the same three light modes and VibraWave vibration. The key upgrades in the Mask: 648 LEDs vs. the Glo’s 504 (144 more); faster session times of 3–9 minutes vs. the Glo’s 4–12 minutes; approximately 120 minutes of battery in LED mode vs. the Glo’s published 60 minutes (which covers a 12-minute session with vibration); and an included display stand that the Glo does not have. The Mask also runs its pre-set routine in 9 minutes vs. the Glo’s 12-minute pre-set. The Glo weighs 514g; the Mask weighs 576g (device only). Both are FDA Cleared. If you do daily sessions and want the fastest session time, longest battery, and highest LED count, the Mask is the right choice. If the price difference matters and a 12-minute session fits your routine, the Glo delivers the same three light modes.
Does the TheraFace Mask connect to the Therabody app?
No. The TheraFace Mask is a standalone device with no Bluetooth or app connectivity. You control it on the device itself. This is different from some Theragun devices, which do connect to the Therabody app. The Mask’s three light modes and session timing are all controlled directly on the mask.
Is the TheraFace Mask FDA Cleared or FDA Approved?
FDA Cleared. Therabody uses “FDA Cleared” as the precise regulatory designation for this device. FDA Cleared means Therabody submitted a premarket notification (510(k)) demonstrating the device is substantially equivalent to a predicate device already cleared by the FDA. It is not the same as FDA Approved, which applies to prescription drugs and high-risk medical devices. Cleared is the standard designation for most class II medical devices and LED therapy products.
What comes in the box?
The TheraFace Mask ships with: the mask device itself, removable protective eye shields (required during sessions), a display stand, and a USB-C charging cable. The display stand is an upgrade over the Mask Glo, which does not include a stand.
What is the warranty and return policy?
Therabody provides a 1-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. A 30-day return policy also applies. As an authorized Therabody dealer, Recovery Room Direct supports all manufacturer warranty claims. Questions about your order or return? Call (888) 500-5675.
