How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free freight to the contiguous 48. Every Luraco chair ships from Luraco's factory in Arlington, Texas, as one large box on a pallet, about 380 to 410 pounds.
Curbside on the i9 Max Plus, Special Edition and Model 3. The carrier books a window, someone signs, and the chair is left at the curb, not carried inside. Luraco ships these in about 7 to 10 days. Our Premium In-Home Setup can bring it to your room.
White glove on the Billionaire and Royal. Included at no charge: a two-person team brings the chair to your room, assembles it and removes the packaging.
What we need from you. Two phone numbers and a note on any stairs on the way in, which we ask for after you order.
If it arrives damaged. Note it on the paperwork before signing, photograph it, and tell us within 48 hours. Refuse a crushed or punctured carton and call us while the driver is there.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
Home use: 5 years parts, 3 years in-home labor, 10 years leather. Luraco's own coverage on every chair we sell, with proof of purchase.
Commercial use: written cover. 1 year on parts, the first 6 months with labor, and 1 year on the leather. Tell us before you order for a gym, clinic, spa or office.
Extended plan. Adds 2 years of labor for home use, so parts and labor both run 5 years. Add it beside Add to Cart and we register it with Luraco. Not offered for commercial use.
How a claim works. Call Luraco with your receipt; Luraco troubleshoots by phone first, then sends in-home labor or a return authorization. If a claim stalls, we take it up for you.
Not covered. Misuse, unauthorized repairs, power surges, liquids, normal leather wear and cosmetic changes. Coverage stays with the first buyer at the first address.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. On the i9 Max Plus and the Model 3 Hybrid SL. We handle it with Luraco, so you do not contact the manufacturer yourself.
What a return costs. A restocking fee of up to 5% may apply on a change of mind, and we waive it whenever we are not charged ourselves. You pay the return freight; we cover it when the cause is shipping damage or our error. We never deduct the original shipping from your refund.
Condition. As new, in the original box with all parts. Luraco refunds a chair only in its original packaging.
Personalized editions are final sale. The Special Edition, Billionaire and Royal are built with your name, and Luraco does not take personalized chairs back. A fault is still covered by the warranty.
Damaged on arrival is different. Note it on the delivery paperwork, photograph it and tell us within 48 hours. A documented freight claim carries no restocking fee and no return freight.

The short answer
The Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition massage chair: the i9 Max Plus with a second 3D engine and a backup battery
Everything on the i9 Max Plus carries over. Luraco adds a second 3D engine, a backup battery, your name on the remote's start screen and a leather headrest tag, a Qi charging pouch and a wrist cuff accessory. Because the name makes the chair yours, it is final sale, with the same warranty as every i9 Max Plus.
The engines
Two 3D
Two roller engines on the track at once and 18 motors, against one engine and 14 on the i9 Max Plus.
The backup
Battery
Patented emergency backup power restores the chair to its original position for the user to get out if power is lost.
The build
Your name
Luraco builds it with your name and ships it in about 2 to 3 weeks.
It suits a buyer who wants both engines working together, backup power in case the supply is lost, or a gift that carries a name.
Fit and floor space
Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition massage chair dimensions, user height and room size
Luraco rates the chair for users from 4 feet 7 to 6 feet 10 and up to 300 pounds. Plan the floor around it fully reclined.
| User height | 4'7" to 6'10" |
|---|---|
| User weight | Up to 300 lb |
| Seat width | 22 in |
| Upright | 48 in H × 38 in W × 65 in L |
| Fully reclined | 47 in H × 38 in W × 87 in L |
| Leg rest | Extends up to 8 in, set automatically |
| Clearance | 36 in in front, 12 in behind the backrest, 18 in from the armrest to the nearest wall |

The floor plan, worked out
From the i9 manual's clearances: 12 inches behind the backrest, 87 of chair and 36 in front make 135 inches, about 11 feet 3. Across, 18 inches either side of the 38 inch chair makes 74 inches between two walls, or 56 with one side open.
How it massages
Inside the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition massage chair: two 3D engines on a 60 inch Split L-Track
The track decides where the rollers reach; the engines decide how many places they work at once.
The Split L-Track
The track runs 60 inches, from the neck down the back and under the seat. Luraco's patent, US 10,849,819, describes guide rails that follow the backrest's curve and split at the rotating joint, so the rollers travel through the bend. Our guide to L-track, SL-track and S-track massage chairs compares the three.
Two engines at the same time
Each engine is a roller unit Luraco sells as 3D Butterfly Technology, built on the mechanism in US 10,905,624: a roller driven in three dimensional orbital motion by one motor through an offset shaft. The Special Edition carries two, which Luraco says gives full back, neck and shoulder massage at the same time; its illustration shows one engine under the seat while the other works higher on the back. Our comparison of 2D, 3D and 4D massage chairs explains the 3D label.
Air, rollers, stretch and heat
Around the engines sit 52 air cells, tripled foot rollers with Achilles nodes, calf rollers, and arm and hand rollers. Powered actuators stretch the hands and arms (patent pending, per Luraco), with a twisting air stretch, foot and spinal stretch and zero gravity recline. Heat reaches the lower back, hands and feet, and Warm Chair keeps the seat warm between sessions; see our heated massage chairs.
Programs and control
Nine automatic programs, a manual mode with 5 intensity levels across 6 body areas, and 5 user profiles. Sessions run 5 to 30 minutes. The touchscreen remote speaks seven languages and drives a 10 W Bluetooth speaker for music from your phone; software updates arrive over WiFi.
Before you order
Six checks before you order the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition
The name is the one you cannot change afterward. The rest are simpler to settle now than with a 410 pound pallet at the curb.
- The name, spelled exactlyUp to 20 characters in the required field above Add to Cart, for the remote's start screen and the leather headrest tag. We check the spelling with you before Luraco builds; a personalized chair is final sale
- A grounded outlet120 volts, three pins, on a normal household circuit. Never modify the plug; a two pin socket needs an electrician first
- The route inThe carrier leaves the 71 by 34 by 70 inch pallet at the curb or the end of the driveway, and the box is opened where it lands. Only the main body, without the footrest and armrests, has to pass through your doors. Luraco publishes no size for it, so send us your narrowest door width and we confirm with Luraco before it ships. Count the stairs too
- The floorLevel, dry and indoors, away from pools, bathrooms and direct sun. The manual warns against moving it over wood or carpet, so place it once
- The roomA strip 135 inches long, and 74 across between two walls or 56 with one side open, measured for the chair fully reclined
- A second pair of handsThe chair weighs about 310 pounds; book a helper for delivery day and for putting it together
Every one of our Luraco massage chairs shares this frame, so these measurements serve the whole range; if one is tight, call us before you order and we check it with Luraco.
Construction
How the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition is built, and which parts are patented
Luraco designs, engineers and assembles the chair in Arlington, Texas, from US and global components. Four features trace to issued patents.
The battery behind the recline
Luraco's chart lists the backup power as patented, and the claim sits in US 10,849,819 and US 10,905,624, which describe a built in rechargeable battery. If the supply fails mid session, it brings the chair back to its starting position so you can get out. Luraco publishes no battery capacity.

The leather, and the name on it
Luraco specifies automotive leather across the chair, with a 10 year leather term. The Special Edition adds a genuine leather owner's tag on the headrest, and the same name greets you on the remote's start screen.

A quieter air system, and the four patents
The compressor and air valves sit in an enclosure lined with noise reducing material, covered by US 10,724,549. With the Split L-Track, the 3D roller mechanism and the backup power, that makes four patented features.

Running cost
What the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition costs to run
Worked at the plate's 200 W maximum, 0.2 kilowatts, and the US average residential rate of 18.34 cents per kilowatt hour from the EIA Electric Power Monthly, June 2026.
One session
1.8 cents
A full 30 minutes, the most the manual suggests, at full draw: a tenth of a kilowatt hour.
A month, daily
$0.55
Thirty sessions, 3 kilowatt hours.
A year, daily
$6.69
A session every day, 36.5 kilowatt hours.
These are ceilings, since 200 W is the plate maximum. Luraco publishes no separate draw for Warm Chair, which can stay on while the chair is idle; even at 200 W, an hour costs about 3.7 cents.

Choose the Special Edition when the second engine, the battery or the name is the reason to buy. The Luraco i9 Max Plus is this chair with one engine, no personalization, and returns allowed. The Luraco Model 3 Hybrid SL keeps the track and air cells on one engine, with fixed armrests.
All five recline through zero gravity and appear in our zero gravity massage chairs and massage chairs collections.
Warranty and certification
Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition massage chair warranty, in writing for home and for business
The terms match every i9 Max Plus edition. Personalization changes returns, never cover.
| Home use | 5 years parts, 3 years labor in your home |
|---|---|
| Leather, home use | 10 years, worded "Guaranteed No Tearing" |
| Business use | 1 year parts, 6 months service, 1 year leather |
| Extended plan | Luraco's plan, in the buy box, home use only: labor to 5 years |
| Transfer | None. Original buyer, original address; tell Luraco before you move |
| Not covered | Power surges, liquids, animals and cracked remote screens. A service visit that finds no fault may be charged |
The extended warranty in the buy box is Luraco's own plan, which we sell on its behalf. It gives 2 extra years of labor, so labor runs 5 years alongside the 5 years of parts, and we register it with Luraco for you within the 90 day window. It covers home use only; a gym, spa, clinic or office gets the business terms, without the plan. Luraco's web policy excludes normal leather wear, so read the 10 year term as cover against tearing.
How a claim works
Call the Luraco customer service line in the manual with proof of purchase. Phone troubleshooting comes first; then in-home labor within the first three years of home use, or a return authorization number to send the chair to a service center. Luraco's in-home service excludes Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Full terms: our Luraco warranty policy.
Certification
Luraco is an FDA-registered manufacturer, and the chair is listed with the FDA as a Class I therapeutic massager, which is a registration, not an endorsement. The chair is cULus listed to UL 1647 (UL file E340228).
Buyer questions
Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition, questions buyers ask before ordering
What does the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition add to the i9 Max Plus?
A second 3D engine, taking the motors from 14 to 18; patented emergency backup power; the owner's name on the remote's start screen and a leather headrest tag; a Qi charging phone pouch; and a wrist cuff accessory.
Can I return the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition?
No, it is final sale. Luraco builds each one with the owner's name, and its policy is that chairs with special personalization orders cannot be returned. The warranty is unaffected.
What happens if the power cuts out during a session in the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition?
A built in rechargeable battery, which Luraco patented, returns the chair to its original position so you can get out. Luraco publishes no battery capacity. The armrest button also stops a session if the remote stops responding.
What name can go on the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition?
Up to 20 characters, shown on the remote's start screen and on a leather headrest tag that reads "Specially Customized For" above the name. Type it in the required field above Add to Cart exactly as it should appear, since the chair cannot be returned; we confirm the spelling with you before the build starts.
How long does the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition take to arrive?
Luraco builds it with your name and ships it in about 2 to 3 weeks; the buy box shows your estimated delivery date. It travels as free curbside freight to the lower 48, set down at your curb or driveway end, and someone must be there to sign.
Will I fit in the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition?
Luraco rates it for users from 4 feet 7 to 6 feet 10 and up to 300 pounds, on a 22 inch seat. The leg rest extends up to 8 inches by itself.
How much room does the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition need?
Laid back it is 87 inches long and 38 wide. On the i9 manual's clearances, plan 135 inches long and 74 across between two walls, or 56 with one side open. Only the main body has to pass your doors; send us your narrowest door width and we confirm it with Luraco before it ships.
What outlet does the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition need, and what does it cost to run?
A grounded 120 volt household outlet; the plate reads 120 V AC, 60 Hz, 200 W maximum. At the EIA's June 2026 average of 18.34 cents per kilowatt hour, a year of daily 30 minute sessions costs about $6.69.
What is the warranty on the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition?
For home use, 5 years parts, 3 years in-home labor and 10 years leather against tearing. For business use, 1 year parts, 6 months service and 1 year leather. Add Luraco's home-use extended warranty in the buy box and labor runs to 5 years; we register it with Luraco. We can email you Luraco's warranty terms and the owner's manual free before you order; just ask.
Does the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition arrive assembled?
No. It arrives in one box as body, footrest, armrests and remote; Luraco puts assembly at 30 to 90 minutes for two people. Our Professional Setup & Assembly brings it to your room, unboxes, assembles and positions it, and removes the packaging; the full scope sits under See details beside Add to Cart.
