Your LeisureCraft sauna, plunge tub, hot tub or outdoor shower is handcrafted to order in Melancthon, Ontario and ships by insured LTL freight. Freight and all cross-border charges are included in the price — no separate shipping cost, no customs bill at the door.
Build time, not ship time. Every unit is made to order, so each product page shows an estimated build date rather than a delivery date. Transit is additional, and build dates move with production volume — peak season runs February through May. We confirm your date in writing once your order is placed.
What the carrier does. The freight company calls to schedule an appointment and delivers to the end of your driveway or the curb, usually on an 18-wheel truck. The driver will not unload your crate and will not back into your driveway. Check that a truck that size can reach your property before you order.
CRITICAL — you are responsible for unloading. Crates run 6 to 14 feet long and 800 to 1,600 pounds depending on the model, with the largest builds heavier still. If your crate is 84 inches or shorter, the carrier may have a liftgate to help lower it. Longer than that there is no liftgate, which covers most of the barrel and cabin range. You will need a forklift with extensions (crates lift from the end), a trailer to collect from the terminal, or a crew on hand. We can arrange a tilt-tow truck for $1,250 if you would rather not. Plan this before you order and we will work it out with you.
Inspect before you sign. If the crate arrives damaged, accept it, photograph everything before moving it, and write "Crate arrived open/damaged — Possible Hidden Damage" on the Bill of Lading. Then call us within 72 hours. A clean signature releases the carrier and makes a claim nearly impossible to win.
Good to know. Changing your shipping address after the unit leaves the factory costs $350 — free before it ships, so tell us early. If a delivery appointment stalls because calls go unreturned, the terminal charges $35 per day in storage. Both are manufacturer charges passed through at cost. Heaters and accessories ship separately and usually arrive sooner.

Warranty
All products designed and manufactured by Dundalk LeisureCraft — including the Canadian Timber Collection — are covered against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for 5 years from the day you receive the product.
What's covered. Replacement of defective parts. Service, labor and installation costs are expressly excluded by the manufacturer, and a replacement part does not extend the original 5-year period.
What's not. Normal wear and tear, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, natural weather conditions, and failure to follow the installation and care instructions.
Heaters, stoves and chillers. These sit on LeisureCraft's separate component schedule, and LeisureCraft honors the component manufacturer's terms directly — same coverage, same duration. Electric heaters carry 3 years (elements and rocks excluded; HUUM also excludes sensors). Wood-burning stoves run 2 years to 5 years, with LeisureCraft's own Timberglow at 5, excluding the glass door, ash grate and rocks; LeisureCraft chimney kits carry 5 years with no exclusions. Chillers carry 1 to 2 years. Component coverage is parts only. We confirm the exact term for your configuration in writing before you order.
Use a licensed electrician. All electrical connections on heaters and chillers must be made by a licensed electrician, or LeisureCraft voids the component warranty. Improper installation is excluded from the 5-year sauna warranty as well.
If you've seen a 3-year figure. Some older listings and in-box manuals still show 3 years for the Canadian Timber Collection. LeisureCraft's current published policy is 5 years, and that's the coverage we confirm in writing with every order.
Residential use, and registration. The 5-year term is written for normal residential use; LeisureCraft publishes no commercial warranty. Buying for a gym, clinic, spa, hotel or rental? Call us first and we'll get the factory's position in writing. We send the manufacturer's registration link with your order confirmation — registering keeps future claims straightforward.
How to make a claim. Contact us — as your authorized dealer we handle the claim with the manufacturer for you. Email sales@recoveryroomdirect.com or call (888) 500-5675 with your order number and photos of the issue.

LeisureCraft Canadian Timber products are handcrafted for your specific order in Melancthon, Ontario. Because each unit is built to order, the manufacturer does not accept returns or exchanges — so please call us before you buy if anything is unclear. We would far rather answer questions first than have you end up with the wrong sauna.
Cancellations. Production is scheduled as soon as your order is placed. Contact us as early as you can at (888) 500-5675 — if your build hasn't started we'll do everything we can to cancel at no cost. If it has, we'll tell you plainly where you stand.
Damaged on arrival? You're covered. Transit damage is handled by replacement, not return. Accept the shipment, photograph the damage before moving anything, and write "Crate arrived open/damaged — Possible Hidden Damage" on the Bill of Lading before signing. Call us within 72 hours and the manufacturer ships replacement wood or components at no charge. Damage reported after a clean signature is very difficult to claim — this step is what protects you.
Five-year residential warranty. Products manufactured by LeisureCraft carry a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for five years from the day you receive them. Valid claims are resolved with replacement parts at no charge.
What it doesn't cover. The warranty is parts only — service, labour and installation are expressly excluded, and a replaced part doesn't restart the five years. It excludes normal wear and tear, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, weather damage, and failure to follow the care instructions. Cedar is a natural material: seasonal movement and colour change to silver-grey are normal and are not defects.
Two exceptions worth knowing. The warranty is written for residential use — if you're buying for a gym, clinic, spa or rental property, call us first so we can confirm your coverage in writing. And sauna heaters are not LeisureCraft-made: Harvia, HUUM and Narvi units carry their own manufacturer warranties, and we'll point you to the right terms.

The CT Savannah is the outdoor shower with a wall behind you: a 42 inch cedar privacy panel on a 40 by 40 pad, on a hose or plumbed
In LeisureCraft's numbers: an Eastern White Cedar panel 42 inches wide, 5 1/2 deep and 78 1/4 tall under a 42 inch top plate, on a 40 by 40 inch cedar pad, 81 1/2 inches overall. The panel arrives assembled; you build the pad and bolt it on.
What it is not: a plumbed shower out of the box. No fixture of any kind travels with the panel, which is why LeisureCraft captions its own photographs shown with shower hardware, sold separately. Its Garden Hose Connect Kit takes a standard hose for cold water; its Premium Shower Hardware is the hot and cold stainless kit with a hand shower, the one it draws on this model. Both are chosen at the top of this page. If a post will do, the CT Sierra is the 13 inch version.

Where the Savannah earns its place as a privacy panel outdoor shower, and what it is not
LeisureCraft's copy calls the Savannah a pillar shower and its video a standing shower. Its drawing settles it: the upright is 42 inches wide, and the assembly list names it the back wall. That is what you are buying over a post: a rinse beside the sauna or the plunge with something behind you, on a pad wide enough to stand on.
The basic setup is cold water from a garden hose; LeisureCraft's words are that its pillar showers, the Savannah among them, connect directly to a standard garden hose, no plumbing needed, and can be moved if needed. The hose runs to the back of the panel and through it to the fixture on the front.
What it is not: a stall. The panel is behind you, not around you: no sides, no door. Nor is it a hot shower without the Premium kit. Between a sauna round and a plunge neither matters: our contrast therapy protocol runs on cold water, and the Dundalk LeisureCraft saunas and cold plunges we carry are what it stands beside. If a post will do instead of a wall, that is the 13 inch CT Sierra pillar.

There is nothing on the Savannah that LeisureCraft's drawing does not show. Front: a panel 42 inches wide and 78 1/4 tall, horizontal cedar slats with gaps between them, a top cap, on a pad 40 inches wide and 3 1/4 thick; the panel overhangs the pad an inch each side. Side: 5 1/2 inches deep at the back edge of the pad, a stainless L bracket at its foot. 81 1/2 inches overall.
The panel arrives in one piece; the parts list calls its brackets Stainless L Brackets to Mount Back Wall. You build the pad: two 40 inch supports, four 38 1/2 inch joists, seven 1 by 6 by 40 inch floor boards laid with space between them. The panel goes on flush to the back, lag screwed through the brackets.
With the panel at the back, the pad in front of it is about 34 1/2 inches deep by 40 wide, against 25 1/2 by 31 on the Sierra: room to stand square to the head and turn. What lands there drains between the floor boards, so give it ground that can take the water. The drawing carries one figure the Sierra's does not, because it is drawn with the Premium kit: the head at 76 inches above the pad, 2 1/4 inches below the top of the panel.
Coverage is the point of this model. LeisureCraft's showers page says the Savannah adds a wider base and taller privacy panel for more coverage; wider is right, taller is not, since its own table gives both showers the same 81 1/2 inches. Over a 13 inch post you gain 29 inches of cedar side to side, 78 1/4 of it standing, and with 34 1/2 inches of pad in front you rinse facing away from it. It is one wall behind you, not a stall around you: no sides, no door, slats with gaps between them. Whatever it is set against is the side those 42 inches break.
Eastern White Cedar, 42 inches of it, and what that buys in a Canadian Timber shower
A privacy panel is mostly wood, so the species matters more here than on a post. The Savannah is Eastern White Cedar, the wood of the Canadian Timber collection, and it spends a lot of it: a 42 inch face, a 42 inch top plate, seven 40 inch floor boards, where the Sierra's parts list gets by on a 15 inch plate and six 31 inch boards. LeisureCraft's case for cedar outdoors is the same on both: natural resistance to rot, decay and insects.
A wall of slats, a floor of slats
The panel is slats with space between them; the seven floor boards are laid with space between them. Nothing holds water; no drain to fit, no basin to clean.
Assembled in Ontario
The panel leaves Ontario already built; its top plate, the pad and the fasteners travel as pieces. The cedar itself comes out of certified sustainable mills in British Columbia and Ontario.
Left bare, or stained
Left alone, a season or two of weather takes the panel to silver gray, and on a 42 inch face that is a lot of wood changing color at once. LeisureCraft says the shower may be stained; its warranty names staining as maintenance you do.
The panel carries LeisureCraft's 5 year residential limited warranty: defects in materials and workmanship, parts only. Labor, installation, wear and weather sit outside it, and the hardware kits are covered on their own terms; ask us.
Plumbing the Savannah: a garden hose, or the Premium hot and cold kit
The Savannah ships dry, and on this model the water comes through 42 inches of back wall: no head, no valve, no fitting. LeisureCraft prints it in bold, shower hardware not included with shower, hardware must be purchased separately, then draws the Savannah with the Premium kit fitted anyway. Pick one of the two ways to feed it at the top of this page.
A garden hose. The Garden Hose Connect Kit is how LeisureCraft's showers take a standard hose for cold water. LeisureCraft's photograph of it is a brass hose thread fitting through a slat, hose coiled behind the panel; it publishes nothing more, so ask us. No plumber, cold water only, and the hose runs up behind cedar rather than down an open post. Two cedar accessories sit in the same options box above, both LeisureCraft's own: a bottle shelf 8 by 13.5 by 5 inches, and a three peg towel hook 14 inches wide, an inch more than a whole Sierra pillar.
The Premium Shower Hardware. Hot and cold, full stainless steel, with a hand held shower, in LeisureCraft's words. This is the shower it chose to draw the kit on: head, pole, handle and wand, the head dimensioned at 76 inches above the pad. Two supply holes go through the panel 6 inches on center, and you hook your water lines up to the adapters in the back. Running a hot line into a back wall is plumbing, so LeisureCraft says a plumber may be required.
Why we still ask you to call
With both kits on the page, the call is not about price. It is about your site: where the hose bib sits, whether a hot line can reach the panel, how hard your winters are. LeisureCraft does not take returns, which makes five minutes on (888) 500-5675 the cheapest part of the order.
The Premium kit ships with LeisureCraft's warning to drain the shower completely in cold temperatures, because water left inside the hardware freezes and causes irreparable damage. Treat every fixture the same way: hose off, lines drained, before the first frost. A plumber may be required for the Premium kit in LeisureCraft's words; your local code has the final say.
What a week with the Savannah actually looks like
Between the sauna and the plunge
Beside a sauna it is the cold rinse between rounds, and the rinse is the part where you stand still, outdoors, with nothing on. That minute is what the 42 inches is for. Beside a plunge, the Flow or the Baltic barrel, it is the rinse before and after, which keeps the tub water clean longer; our contrast therapy guide puts the timings in order.
By the pool
LeisureCraft photographs the Savannah at the pool edge, and its use case is the pool's: rinse off before you get in, cool down after. Water off a hose arrives at hose temperature, which in July is the point, and there are 34 1/2 inches of pad in front of the panel to stand and towel down on.
Winter
Cedar is fine outside all winter; the water left in a fixture is not. Before the first freeze, disconnect the hose and drain the hardware completely, per LeisureCraft's warning above.
Three people who choose the Savannah over the Sierra
The one with neighbors
A 13 inch post covers nothing, and on an open lot that ends the conversation. The Savannah puts 42 inches of cedar behind you, a face 78 1/4 inches tall standing 81 1/2 inches overall once the pad is under it, and the pad in front puts your back to it. If the shower looks at a fence line, a neighbor's window or a lane, that dimension decides it.
The one who wants pad underfoot
The Sierra leaves about 25 1/2 by 31 inches of pad in front of its pillar; the Savannah about 34 1/2 by 40. Nine more inches each way: standing under a head, or moving under it.
The one who wants it to stay where it is put
Boxed, the Savannah is 107 lb to the Sierra's 49, on a 40 inch pad. LeisureCraft still calls it movable and nothing bolts to the ground, but it is a two person move. In an open spot, that weight is a feature.

What the Savannah costs to use, once it is on the deck
Forty two inches of standing cedar consumes nothing at all, and nothing bolted to it does either: no element, no pump, no filter, no chemistry. Water is the only running cost, and rather than invent a figure per rinse, here is what the price is spread over.
At three rinses a week the delivered price divides by 780, and your water bill is the whole of the rest.

The Savannah in detail
Six of LeisureCraft's own photographs, at the pool and up close; every fixture in them is sold separately, and the single lever one they show is not the Premium kit. The side view catches a stainless L bracket at the foot, one of the two that hold the back wall to its pad.
Building the Savannah
The panel is the part you do not build: it arrives assembled at 42 inches wide, in a 107 lb box against the Sierra's 49, which is why LeisureCraft's Savannah instructions run four pages where the Sierra's run five. What is left to you is the 40 by 40 pad. What LeisureCraft asks for: 2 People (recommended), Tape Measure, Cordless Drill, Robertson Drill Bit, 3/4 inch (19 mm) Nut Driver Bit. Its order of work:
- Top plate onto the pre-assembled panel, 1 1/2 inch screws.
- Front and back supports to the outer joists.
- Inner supports centered between them.
- Seven floor boards spaced evenly, two screws into each joist.
- Panel on top and flush to the back, pre-drilled, secured with the lag screws provided.
LeisureCraft publishes no assembly time and neither will we.

CT Savannah delivery, and what to have ready
Freight included
Freight and all cross-border charges are in the price, curbside to the contiguous 48 states. One box on a skid, about 107 lb of it because the 42 inch panel travels assembled, more than twice the Sierra's 49 lb. Its longest part is that 78 1/4 inch panel, inside the 84 inch liftgate threshold in our LeisureCraft shipping policy: a liftgate delivery, as in LeisureCraft's tailgate delivery video, then two people. Photograph any damage, note it on the Bill of Lading before you sign, and call us within 72 hours.
Built to order
Nothing is stocked. Your Savannah joins the production queue in Melancthon once ordered; we confirm the build and ship window in writing once scheduled.
What it sits on
The pad is the foundation: 40 by 40 inches on a flat surface that drains, nine inches more each way than the Sierra asks. Nothing is bolted down, so settle which way the panel faces first: that is the side it covers.
Before the truck comes
- A flat spot at least 40 by 40 inches that drains
- A garden hose that reaches it, or your plumber booked for the Premium kit
- A cordless drill, a Robertson bit, a 3/4 inch nut driver bit, a second person

Care once it is up
Leaves settle between the floor boards and in the gaps of the face, so clear both in the fall. Let the panel go gray, or stain it and keep staining it. Drain the fixture before a freeze.
Before you step on. Cedar gets slippery when wet: step onto the middle of the pad rather than its edge, and keep an eye on children while the pad is wet. LeisureCraft's instruction for freezing weather is to drain the shower completely.
The questions buyers actually ask about the Savannah
Does the Savannah come with a shower head, valve or hose fitting?
No. LeisureCraft says shower hardware is not included and must be purchased separately; the photographs and drawing show fixtures LeisureCraft added. Choose the hose kit or the Premium kit above.
Is it private, or is it an enclosure?
A wall behind you, 42 inches wide and 78 1/4 tall, not a stall: no sides, no door. It covers your back.
Can I mount the panel to a house wall or a fence instead of the pad?
LeisureCraft shows one installation: the panel on its own pad, held by two stainless L brackets. Nothing it publishes covers a wall or fence, so we will not promise it; ask us and we will ask the factory.
Can I just hook it up to a garden hose?
Yes. LeisureCraft says its pillar showers, the Savannah among them, connect directly to a standard garden hose, cold water, no plumbing. The Garden Hose Connect Kit is the fitting.
Do I need a plumber?
Not for the garden hose setup. For the Premium kit LeisureCraft says a plumber may be required, because it takes hot and cold lines to the back of the panel.
Savannah or Sierra: which one?
Same height, depth, cedar and hardware. The Savannah is a 42 inch panel on a 40 by 40 pad; the Sierra a 13 inch pillar on a 31 by 31 pad. Want something behind you, the Savannah; have a post's worth of room, the Sierra.
How high is the shower head?
With the Premium kit, 76 inches above the pad, per LeisureCraft's drawing. With any other fixture, wherever you mount it.
How much room is there to stand?
About 34 1/2 inches of pad in front of the panel, 40 wide. The Sierra gives about 25 1/2 by 31.
Can it stay outside through winter?
The cedar can; the fixture cannot hold water through a freeze. Per LeisureCraft, drain the shower completely in cold temperatures.
What do I have to assemble?
The pad. The panel arrives assembled; you screw on its top plate, build the 40 by 40 floor, and lag screw the panel down. No assembly time is published.
Can I pay for this over time?
Yes. Shop Pay Installments at checkout, and APPROVE financing on larger orders including business buyers; the exact offer is the one presented on approval.
What if I change my mind, and how long until it ships?
Every Savannah is built to order, so LeisureCraft accepts no returns or exchanges at any point; our LeisureCraft return policy sets out where you stand. Lead time depends on the production queue; we confirm your window in writing once scheduled.
