How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free freight to the lower 48. Your order ships on a strapped pallet by insured LTL freight from the manufacturer's California warehouse.
When it ships. Orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days depending on the brand, and delivery to most addresses in the contiguous US takes 5 to 14 business days after shipment. Transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees.
How you will know. You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse. Most carriers then call 24 to 48 hours ahead to lock in a four hour window, and some send an email or text the morning of delivery instead. Respond promptly either way, because missed attempts trigger terminal storage fees.
How it arrives. A 53 foot semi truck arrives at your curbside and the driver delivers the pallet to the curb. Liftgate service is not included as standard, and standard delivery does not include bringing the equipment inside, up stairs, or unpacking. Someone must be present to sign.
If it arrives damaged. Walk around the pallet and check every box before signing the Bill of Lading. Cosmetic damage can be accepted, but if a carton is punctured or crushed, refuse that item and call us on (888) 500-5675 while the driver is still there. Note the damage on the Bill of Lading, photograph it, and contact us within 48 hours. Once the damage is documented on the Bill of Lading we can file a valid freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you. Signing a clean Bill of Lading releases the carrier, and claims filed after one are routinely denied. If you refuse for a reason other than damage, or without contacting us first, return freight costs may become your responsibility.
Where it ships. Free freight covers standard residential curbside delivery within the contiguous 48 states. Hawaii, Alaska and Canada are not available at standard checkout, so contact us before ordering for a freight quote.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
How long. Your Maxxus sauna carries the manufacturer's limited warranty from Golden Designs, Inc. Residential coverage is 5 years on heating elements and electronics and 1 year on the wood structure; built-in appliances carry their own manufacturers' warranties. Several current Maxxus models ship with documentation showing a 7 year term on those parts.
Parts, not labor. The warranty covers replacement parts; labor is not included. You prepay shipping, duties and taxes on warranty parts and insure anything returned.
Indoor and commercial use. Placing the sauna outdoors voids the warranty entirely. Commercial use reduces coverage to 1 year.
What keeps it valid. Registration is required within 60 days of purchase; we send the link after delivery. It applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address in the continental US or Canada, is not transferable, and requires an intact serial number and unaltered proof of purchase.
What is not covered. Weather or moisture damage, modifications or non-authorized repairs, negligence or misuse, and lacquer or paint on the wood. Minor surface cracks from natural wood movement are not defects.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. The item must come back new, unused and in its original packaging with all components, hardware and accessories. Anything assembled, used or modified cannot be returned, and electronic components such as power supplies and control panels are non returnable under manufacturer policy regardless of condition.
What a return costs. The manufacturer may charge a 20 percent restocking fee, and you are responsible for the return freight. The original shipping cost is not deducted from your refund. Any storage or carrier routing fees incurred during the return are the buyer's responsibility.
Damaged on arrival. A different process, and you are fully protected. If you accepted the delivery and documented the damage on the Bill of Lading, we handle the freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost, with no restocking fee and no return shipping.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee as long as we have not yet submitted your order to the manufacturer. After we submit it but before it ships, an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, and we waive it whenever we are not charged.
To start a return. Email your order number to sales@recoveryroomdirect.com and we issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number within one business day. Write it clearly on every box, because the warehouse will not accept returns without it. Refunds are issued within 5 business days of inspection.
Which brands. Applies to all Golden Designs Inc. brands: Dynamic Saunas, Maxxus Saunas and Dynamic Cold Therapy.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Bellevue 3-Person Low EMF Sauna — Canadian Hemlock
Seven PureTech™ carbon heaters in a clear-glass hemlock cabin. Low EMF at a sharper price point, with Bluetooth audio and chromotherapy lighting built in.
Shop Pay Installments financing available at checkout — spread the investment over time.
Core Technology
PureTech™ FAR-Infrared Heat — Built Into Canadian Hemlock
Far-infrared wavelengths (5–14 microns) penetrate 1.5–2 inches below the skin surface — reaching muscle tissue, joints, and fascia where surface heat cannot reach. PureTech™ carbon panels distribute that heat across a wider surface area than traditional rod heaters, producing a gentler, more enveloping warmth at lower air temperatures.
EMF rating: 5 to 10 milligauss (mG). A responsible EMF level that delivers full infrared benefits at a sharper price point.
The Canadian Hemlock construction absorbs and radiates infrared energy evenly, keeping surface temperatures consistent throughout your session — no hot spots near heaters, no cold zones near the door.
What's Inside
Everything You Need for a Clinical-Grade Home Sauna

PureTech™ Carbon FAR-IR Heaters
Ultra-thin PureTech™ carbon panels spread far-infrared heat evenly across the walls and floor. Each panel runs at a lower surface temperature than rod heaters — producing a gentler warmth that envelops rather than scorches, even during extended sessions.

Chromotherapy LED Lighting
Seven selectable color modes let you tune the light environment to your session. Chromotherapy pairs naturally with infrared heat — from energizing amber before a workout to calming blue for an evening wind-down.

LED Control Panel
Simple, reliable LED control panel inside the sauna lets you set temperature and session timer with confidence.

Low EMF vs. Near Zero EMF
Same Bellevue Cabin — Different EMF Tier
The Bellevue Low EMF and Near Zero EMF hemlock models share the same MX-J306-01 cabin and seven PureTech™ heaters. The difference is EMF output level and price.
Bellevue Low EMF (5–10 mG)
Same hemlock cabin and 7 heaters at a sharper price. For buyers who want full FAR-infrared benefits without the Near Zero EMF premium.
| EMF | 5–10 mG |
| Heaters | 7 Carbon |
| Interior | 56″×37″×68″ |
| Wattage | 2,200W |
| Glass | Clear tempered |
Bellevue Near Zero EMF (<2 mG)
Same cabin and heaters with EMF output under 2 mG. For buyers prioritizing the lowest possible EMF exposure.
| EMF | <2 mG |
| Heaters | 7 Carbon |
| Interior | 56″×37″×68″ |
| Wattage | 2,200W |
| Glass | Clear tempered |
Honest take: If EMF output below 2 mG matters for your health goals — the Near Zero EMF Bellevue is worth the upgrade. If you want the same Bellevue sauna experience at a lower price and 5–10 mG is acceptable — this Low EMF model delivers identical heat and construction quality.

Questions & Answers
Maxxus Sauna FAQ — What Buyers Ask Most
How long does it take to assemble this Maxxus sauna?
Most buyers complete assembly in 45–90 minutes with two people. All panels are pre-cut, numbered, and fit together with included hardware. No special tools are required beyond the included allen wrench.
What electrical requirements does the MX-J306-01 have?
A dedicated 20-amp, 120V circuit. The sauna plugs into a standard NEMA 5-20 outlet — no hardwiring required, but a dedicated circuit is strongly recommended.
What does “Low EMF” mean for this sauna?
Between 5 and 10 milligauss (mG) — a responsible EMF level that delivers full infrared benefits at a more accessible price.
Does the MX-J306-01 Bellevue have FM radio?
No. The J-Series (Bellevue) series features Bluetooth, MP3 player input, and AUX connection — but does not include an FM radio receiver. If FM radio is important to you, consider a K-series model instead.
Does this sauna need ventilation or special flooring?
The sauna is fully enclosed and does not require ventilation ducting. It can be placed on any level, clean surface — hardwood, tile, concrete, or carpet with a protective pad. Ensure adequate clearance (minimum 3 inches) on sides and rear for heat dissipation.
What is the return policy?
Contact Recovery Room Direct within 30 days of delivery. Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee and the buyer is responsible for return freight costs. We encourage you to reach out first — we can often resolve fit or setup concerns without a return.
What warranty does the Maxxus sauna include?
Maxxus covers the structural wood frame for lifetime, the PureTech™ carbon heaters for 7 years, and the electrical components and controls for 5 years. The warranty is fulfilled through Recovery Room Direct as an authorized dealer.
Can I use this infrared sauna every day?
Yes. Daily sessions of 20–45 minutes are common for regular users. Start with shorter sessions (15–20 minutes) at lower temperatures to allow your body to acclimate, especially if you are new to infrared therapy.
Is financing available for this sauna?
Yes — Shop Pay Installments financing is available at checkout, allowing you to spread the investment over time. Terms are determined at checkout based on your credit profile.
