How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free freight to the lower 48. Your order ships on a strapped pallet by insured LTL freight from the manufacturer's California warehouse.
When it ships. Orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days depending on the brand, and delivery to most addresses in the contiguous US takes 5 to 14 business days after shipment. Transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees.
How you will know. You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse. Most carriers then call 24 to 48 hours ahead to lock in a four hour window, and some send an email or text the morning of delivery instead. Respond promptly either way, because missed attempts trigger terminal storage fees.
How it arrives. A 53 foot semi truck arrives at your curbside and the driver delivers the pallet to the curb. Liftgate service is not included as standard, and standard delivery does not include bringing the equipment inside, up stairs, or unpacking. Someone must be present to sign.
If it arrives damaged. Walk around the pallet and check every box before signing the Bill of Lading. Cosmetic damage can be accepted, but if a carton is punctured or crushed, refuse that item and call us on (888) 500-5675 while the driver is still there. Note the damage on the Bill of Lading, photograph it, and contact us within 48 hours. Once the damage is documented on the Bill of Lading we can file a valid freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you. Signing a clean Bill of Lading releases the carrier, and claims filed after one are routinely denied. If you refuse for a reason other than damage, or without contacting us first, return freight costs may become your responsibility.
Where it ships. Free freight covers standard residential curbside delivery within the contiguous 48 states. Hawaii, Alaska and Canada are not available at standard checkout, so contact us before ordering for a freight quote.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
How long. Residential coverage from Golden Designs, Inc. runs 5 years on heating elements and electronics and 1 year on the wood structure. Built-in appliances such as stereos carry their own manufacturers' warranties.
Commercial use. Heating elements and electronics are covered for 1 year.
Indoor use only. Placing the sauna outdoors voids the warranty entirely.
What is covered. Defects in material and workmanship. Replacement parts are covered; labor is not. Coverage applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address in the continental US and Canada, and is not transferable.
What you have to do. The manufacturer asks that the warranty be registered within 60 days of purchase; we send the link after delivery. You prepay shipping, duties and taxes on warranty parts, and insure parts shipped or returned. Coverage requires an unaltered proof of purchase and an intact serial number.
What is not covered. Weather or moisture damage, modifications or non-authorized repairs, negligence or misuse, lacquer or paint applied to the wood, and normal wear. The manufacturer notes that minor surface cracks from natural wood movement are not defects.

30 days from delivery. The item must come back new, unused and in its original packaging with all components, hardware and accessories. Anything assembled, used or modified cannot be returned, and electronic components such as power supplies and control panels are non returnable under manufacturer policy regardless of condition.
What a return costs. The manufacturer may charge a 20 percent restocking fee, and you are responsible for the return freight. The original shipping cost is not deducted from your refund. Any storage or carrier routing fees incurred during the return are the buyer's responsibility.
Damaged on arrival. A different process, and you are fully protected. If you accepted the delivery and documented the damage on the Bill of Lading, we handle the freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost, with no restocking fee and no return shipping.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee as long as we have not yet submitted your order to the manufacturer. After we submit it but before it ships, an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, and we waive it whenever we are not charged.
To start a return. Email your order number to sales@recoveryroomdirect.com and we issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number within one business day. Write it clearly on every box, because the warehouse will not accept returns without it. Refunds are issued within 5 business days of inspection.

The Toscana brings eight Low EMF carbon FAR infrared panels into a 56×38 three-person cabin — including two floor panels that heat from below and three rear wall panels that distribute coverage evenly across all three seating positions. Most 3-person saunas stop at rear and side wall coverage. The floor panels change the dynamic: heat reaches the feet and lower legs without a bench obstruction, adding a distinct layer of thermal input during the session. Requires a dedicated 120V/20A non-GFCI circuit.

Eight Panels — Three Walls Plus the Floor
FAR infrared energy operates at wavelengths between 5.6 and 15 microns — the range at which the body absorbs radiant heat most efficiently, directly through skin rather than first heating the surrounding air. This makes FAR infrared fundamentally different from steam sauna heat: the session temperature can stay lower while the thermal dose reaching soft tissue stays consistent. Most Toscana users run sessions between 118°F and 132°F, a range that's accessible and sustainable for a full 30–40 minutes without pre-acclimatization.
The Toscana's eight-panel layout covers more surface area than most 3-person saunas in its class. Three panels run across the rear wall — one behind each seating position — so all three occupants receive equal infrared exposure from the back, not a center-biased arrangement. One panel per side wall adds lateral coverage. One under-bench panel addresses the lower legs from below. And two floor panels direct heat upward toward the feet — a coverage angle that rear and side panels alone cannot provide. In a typical FAR infrared session, the feet are the body's coldest extremity; the floor panels work directly against that.
Low EMF carbon panels on the Toscana measure 5–10 milligauss at 2–3 inches from the panel surface — measurably lower than older wire-coil heater designs. If you want the lowest available EMF in this cabin, the Toscana Elite uses PureTech™ Ultra Low EMF panels at 3–5 mG. Floor Coverage, Chromotherapy, and Wireless Audio

Eight low EMF carbon FAR infrared panels: 3 rear wall, 1 each side wall (2 total), 1 under bench, and 2 floor panels. The floor panels deliver upward-facing heat to the feet and lower legs — a coverage angle that rear-only and side-only arrangements can't replicate. Three rear panels distribute heat evenly across all three seating positions in the 56″-wide cabin.
Chromotherapy + Red Light Therapy
Interior multi-color LED chromotherapy runs through the full visible spectrum, adjustable from the interior control panel. A dedicated red light module at approximately 662.7 nm complements the FAR infrared session. Both operate independently of the heating system and can be adjusted from your seat on the bench. Side windows and the glass door bring additional natural light into the 56×38 cabin during daytime sessions.
Bluetooth + MP3/AUX Audio
Wireless Bluetooth streaming or wired 3.5mm MP3/AUX connection feeds the integrated speaker system. The interior LED control panel manages temperature, timer, and lighting from inside the cabin. No FM radio; all audio is wireless Bluetooth or direct through the AUX jack. The clasp-together assembly installs in approximately one hour with one or two people — no special tools needed.

Honest take: The Toscana and Toscana Elite are the same cabin — same 56×38 interior, same 8-panel layout including 2 floor panels, same glass, same power, same audio. The only difference is the heater panel technology: the Elite's PureTech™ Ultra Low EMF panels measure 3–5 mG at 2–3 inches from the panel surface, versus 5–10 mG for the Standard's carbon panels at the same distance. If you're comfortable with 5–10 mG, the Standard delivers the same session at a lower price. If minimizing EMF exposure matters to you, the Elite is the straightforward upgrade.
