How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free freight to the lower 48. Your order ships on a strapped pallet by insured LTL freight from the manufacturer's California warehouse.
When it ships. Orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days depending on the brand, and delivery to most addresses in the contiguous US takes 5 to 14 business days after shipment. Transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees.
How you will know. You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse. Most carriers then call 24 to 48 hours ahead to lock in a four hour window, and some send an email or text the morning of delivery instead. Respond promptly either way, because missed attempts trigger terminal storage fees.
How it arrives. A 53 foot semi truck arrives at your curbside and the driver delivers the pallet to the curb. Liftgate service is not included as standard, and standard delivery does not include bringing the equipment inside, up stairs, or unpacking. Someone must be present to sign.
If it arrives damaged. Walk around the pallet and check every box before signing the Bill of Lading. Cosmetic damage can be accepted, but if a carton is punctured or crushed, refuse that item and call us on (888) 500-5675 while the driver is still there. Note the damage on the Bill of Lading, photograph it, and contact us within 48 hours. Once the damage is documented on the Bill of Lading we can file a valid freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you. Signing a clean Bill of Lading releases the carrier, and claims filed after one are routinely denied. If you refuse for a reason other than damage, or without contacting us first, return freight costs may become your responsibility.
Where it ships. Free freight covers standard residential curbside delivery within the contiguous 48 states. Hawaii, Alaska and Canada are not available at standard checkout, so contact us before ordering for a freight quote.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
How long. Your Maxxus sauna carries the manufacturer's limited warranty from Golden Designs, Inc. Residential coverage is 5 years on heating elements and electronics and 1 year on the wood structure; built-in appliances carry their own manufacturers' warranties. Several current Maxxus models ship with documentation showing a 7 year term on those parts.
Parts, not labor. The warranty covers replacement parts; labor is not included. You prepay shipping, duties and taxes on warranty parts and insure anything returned.
Indoor and commercial use. Placing the sauna outdoors voids the warranty entirely. Commercial use reduces coverage to 1 year.
What keeps it valid. Registration is required within 60 days of purchase; we send the link after delivery. It applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address in the continental US or Canada, is not transferable, and requires an intact serial number and unaltered proof of purchase.
What is not covered. Weather or moisture damage, modifications or non-authorized repairs, negligence or misuse, and lacquer or paint on the wood. Minor surface cracks from natural wood movement are not defects.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. The item must come back new, unused and in its original packaging with all components, hardware and accessories. Anything assembled, used or modified cannot be returned, and electronic components such as power supplies and control panels are non returnable under manufacturer policy regardless of condition.
What a return costs. The manufacturer may charge a 20 percent restocking fee, and you are responsible for the return freight. The original shipping cost is not deducted from your refund. Any storage or carrier routing fees incurred during the return are the buyer's responsibility.
Damaged on arrival. A different process, and you are fully protected. If you accepted the delivery and documented the damage on the Bill of Lading, we handle the freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost, with no restocking fee and no return shipping.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee as long as we have not yet submitted your order to the manufacturer. After we submit it but before it ships, an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, and we waive it whenever we are not charged.
To start a return. Email your order number to sales@recoveryroomdirect.com and we issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number within one business day. Write it clearly on every box, because the warehouse will not accept returns without it. Refunds are issued within 5 business days of inspection.
Which brands. Applies to all Golden Designs Inc. brands: Dynamic Saunas, Maxxus Saunas and Dynamic Cold Therapy.

The Private Infrared Sauna Experience
Maxxus Toulose — all-carbon FAR infrared, bronze privacy glass, Canadian Hemlock construction, chromotherapy with red light.
The Toulose is built from Natural Reforested Canadian Hemlock, with a bronze tinted tempered glass door that softens sightlines into the cabin — a genuine privacy advantage over clear-glass saunas when yours sits in a shared space. The roof adds a 5.9″ overhang for a finished, furniture-grade profile.
Inside, six Maxxus Low EMF FAR infrared carbon heating panels warm the cabin to the manufacturer’s ideal 118–132°F range (up to 140°F). FAR infrared warms your body directly rather than superheating the air, so sessions feel deeply warm at temperatures a traditional sauna would need 30+ more degrees to match. Chromotherapy lighting with a red light feature, exterior accent lighting, and FM radio with Bluetooth complete the session. Call (888) 500-5675 to compare the Toulose against the Dual Tech Serenity before purchasing.
All-Carbon FAR Infrared: Six Low EMF Panels at the Core
Unlike the Dual Tech LS-series, the Toulose uses carbon heating panels exclusively. Six Maxxus Low EMF FAR infrared carbon panels wrap the cabin in broad-surface radiant heat, rated 5–10 mG measured 2–3 inches from the panels.
Carbon panels emit FAR infrared across a large surface area, producing even, gentle heat coverage without the concentrated hot spots of smaller emitters. The result is a consistent session where heat reaches you from the walls around both seating positions.
Everything runs on a 120V/15A non-GFCI plug & play connection — the manufacturer recommends a dedicated outlet, but no special wiring or electrician is required.
Toulose Infrared Sauna Features
Every Maxxus Toulose delivers the complete Low EMF infrared session from the first use.

Bronze Tinted Privacy Glass
The tempered glass door carries a bronze tint that softens sightlines into the cabin. Combined with the 5.9″ roof overhang, it gives the Toulose a finished, furniture-grade look that clear-glass cabins can’t match.

Chromotherapy + Red Light Feature
The interior chromotherapy color lighting system includes a dedicated red light feature, and exterior accent lighting gives the cabin presence in a dim room. Adjust everything from inside without interrupting your session.

Dual LED Controls + FM Radio
Interior and exterior LED control panels let you pre-heat before you step in. The built-in audio system covers FM radio, Bluetooth streaming, and MP3 auxiliary input through integrated speakers. A roof vent manages airflow between sessions.
Toulose vs. Serenity vs. Wide Cabin — Which Maxxus Is Right for You?
All three share Canadian Hemlock construction and 5–10 mG Low EMF heaters. The decision factors are heater technology, glass, and cabin size.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Maxxus Toulose and the Serenity Dual Tech?
Both are 2-person Maxxus saunas, identically priced, with 5–10 mG Low EMF ratings. The Toulose uses 6 all-carbon FAR infrared panels and a bronze tinted privacy glass door; the Serenity uses a Dual Tech mix of 5 carbon + 1 ceramic heater behind a clear tempered glass door. Choose on heater style and glass preference — the price is identical.
What electrical outlet does the Maxxus Toulose require?
A 120V/15A non-GFCI plug & play connection — the manufacturer recommends a dedicated outlet. No electrician or special wiring is required.
Does the Maxxus Toulose have red light therapy?
The Toulose includes an interior chromotherapy color lighting system with a dedicated red light feature, plus exterior accent lighting. It complements the infrared session experience; it is a lighting feature rather than a standalone therapy device.
How hot does the Maxxus Toulose get?
The manufacturer’s ideal operating range is 118–132°F, and the sauna can heat up to 140°F. FAR infrared heats your body directly, so sessions feel effective at lower air temperatures than traditional saunas.
Can the Maxxus Toulose be used outdoors?
No — the manufacturer rates the Toulose for indoor use only. It needs a dry, level indoor space at least 50″ wide and 75″ tall, plus clearance for the 5.9″ roof overhang depth.
Can I finance the Maxxus Toulose?
Yes — Shop Pay Installments financing is available at checkout. You can also call (888) 500-5675 to talk through options with a recovery specialist before ordering.
