How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free freight to the lower 48. Your order ships on a strapped pallet by insured LTL freight from the manufacturer's California warehouse.
When it ships. Orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days depending on the brand, and delivery to most addresses in the contiguous US takes 5 to 14 business days after shipment. Transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees.
How you will know. You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse. Most carriers then call 24 to 48 hours ahead to lock in a four hour window, and some send an email or text the morning of delivery instead. Respond promptly either way, because missed attempts trigger terminal storage fees.
How it arrives. A 53 foot semi truck arrives at your curbside and the driver delivers the pallet to the curb. Liftgate service is not included as standard, and standard delivery does not include bringing the equipment inside, up stairs, or unpacking. Someone must be present to sign.
If it arrives damaged. Walk around the pallet and check every box before signing the Bill of Lading. Cosmetic damage can be accepted, but if a carton is punctured or crushed, refuse that item and call us on (888) 500-5675 while the driver is still there. Note the damage on the Bill of Lading, photograph it, and contact us within 48 hours. Once the damage is documented on the Bill of Lading we can file a valid freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you. Signing a clean Bill of Lading releases the carrier, and claims filed after one are routinely denied. If you refuse for a reason other than damage, or without contacting us first, return freight costs may become your responsibility.
Where it ships. Free freight covers standard residential curbside delivery within the contiguous 48 states. Hawaii, Alaska and Canada are not available at standard checkout, so contact us before ordering for a freight quote.
What does the warranty cover?

How long. Residential coverage from Golden Designs, Inc. runs 5 years on heating elements and electronics and 1 year on the wood structure. Built-in appliances such as stereos carry their own manufacturers' warranties.
Commercial use. Heating elements and electronics are covered for 1 year.
Indoor use only. Placing the sauna outdoors voids the warranty entirely.
What is covered. Defects in material and workmanship. Replacement parts are covered; labor is not. Coverage applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address in the continental US and Canada, and is not transferable.
What you have to do. The manufacturer asks that the warranty be registered within 60 days of purchase; we send the link after delivery. You prepay shipping, duties and taxes on warranty parts, and insure parts shipped or returned. Coverage requires an unaltered proof of purchase and an intact serial number.
What is not covered. Weather or moisture damage, modifications or non-authorized repairs, negligence or misuse, lacquer or paint applied to the wood, and normal wear. The manufacturer notes that minor surface cracks from natural wood movement are not defects.

30 days from delivery. The item must come back new, unused and in its original packaging with all components, hardware and accessories. Anything assembled, used or modified cannot be returned, and electronic components such as power supplies and control panels are non returnable under manufacturer policy regardless of condition.
What a return costs. The manufacturer may charge a 20 percent restocking fee, and you are responsible for the return freight. The original shipping cost is not deducted from your refund. Any storage or carrier routing fees incurred during the return are the buyer's responsibility.
Damaged on arrival. A different process, and you are fully protected. If you accepted the delivery and documented the damage on the Bill of Lading, we handle the freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost, with no restocking fee and no return shipping.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee as long as we have not yet submitted your order to the manufacturer. After we submit it but before it ships, an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, and we waive it whenever we are not charged.
To start a return. Email your order number to sales@recoveryroomdirect.com and we issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number within one business day. Write it clearly on every box, because the warehouse will not accept returns without it. Refunds are issued within 5 business days of inspection.

The Versailles delivers a complete 2-person Low EMF infrared session in a cabin that opens up on three sides: clear tempered glass door plus clear tempered side windows on both side walls. Six Low EMF carbon panels cover the full cabin — two rear wall panels, one per side wall, one under the bench, and one dedicated floor panel that warms from beneath your feet. Dual LED control panels inside and outside the cabin let you pre-heat before you enter and manage everything without standing up. Standard 120V/15A non-GFCI outlet — no electrician, no special wiring.

Floor-to-Ceiling Low EMF Coverage With Side Windows on Both Walls
FAR infrared energy at wavelengths between 5.6 and 15 microns is absorbed directly by the body — not by the surrounding air. At the Versailles operating range of 118°F–132°F, the session produces the thermal response associated with recovery without the extreme ambient temperatures of traditional steam saunas. The Versailles' six Low EMF carbon panels measure 5–10 milligauss at 2–3 inches from any panel surface.
The panel layout addresses a gap in most infrared sauna designs. Two rear wall panels provide consistent dorsal coverage for both occupants simultaneously. One panel per side wall extends lateral coverage across both sides of the cabin. An under-bench panel works at low-body level from below the seating position. And a dedicated floor panel — one of the six — projects heat upward from the floor toward the feet. The foot and ankle zone is often the coldest part of an infrared session in wall-panel-only designs; the Versailles eliminates that gap with 1,700W of total panel output from five coverage angles.
The glass package is notable: the Versailles Standard includes clear tempered side windows on both side walls, alongside the clear glass front door. Three glass surfaces open the session environment to ambient light from outside the cabin — a feature typically reserved for Elite or upgraded models in comparable product lines. The Versailles has six Low EMF carbon FAR infrared panels: 2 on the rear wall, 1 on each side wall, 1 under the bench, and 1 on the floor. Total output is 1,700W across all six panels. The floor panel is the feature most 2-person saunas omit — it projects infrared heat upward from the base of the cabin, directly toward the soles of your feet. The result is coverage from the ground up rather than wall surfaces only, warming the lower extremities that rear and side panels don't directly address at seated distance. At 5–10 mG measured 2–3 inches from any panel, the full Low EMF label applies to every surface in the cabin.
Chromotherapy + Red Light at 620–660 nm
Interior chromotherapy LED system cycles through multiple color wavelengths — controllable from either the interior or exterior LED panel during a session. A dedicated red light therapy module at 620–660 nanometers operates independently from the FAR infrared session: adjust or turn off the red light without changing the heat output. The clear tempered glass door and side windows create a naturally lit cabin environment rather than the enclosed feel of opaque designs. Three glass surfaces interact with the chromotherapy output to fill the interior with ambient and colored light simultaneously.
Dual LED Control — Interior + Exterior
Both the inside and outside of the Versailles cabin have LED control panels. The exterior panel lets you power on the sauna and dial in your target temperature before entering — arrive to a pre-heated cabin rather than sitting on a bench while it climbs to temperature. The interior panel lets you adjust heat, timer, and lighting settings without standing up once your session has started. Paired with Bluetooth audio streaming or wired MP3/AUX input, the built-in speakers and pre-amplifier deliver clear audio throughout the session. No FM radio — all audio is wireless or direct-wired.
