Every sauna here has a commercial-use term in its maker's written warranty: 1 year on the heating elements and electronics. We leave out any sauna whose warranty is written for residential use only or gives no commercial term. Some warranties here also exclude full commercial use, and the table marks which ones. The commercial term is shorter than the home term, and the table above sets out each model's version in full.

Yes. Each maker's manual sets the same rule: for every three hours on, the sauna must be turned off for one hour to cool down. Count every hour the room is switched on, not only the hours with someone inside. Build the rest hour into your booking calendar, and the room runs the way its maker's manual says it must.

It depends on the maker. Some warranties are void in commercial use, some are written for residential use only, and some give a shorter term for commercial use. Every sauna on this page belongs to the last group, and some of their warranties also exclude full commercial use, as the table shows. Each room here needs its own dedicated circuit, and its manual names it. Most run on one 120V circuit at 15A or 20A. Every six-seat room and two smaller ones need two separate 120V circuits, and the 8 person rooms need one 240V, 30A circuit. Some of these manuals advise against a GFCI outlet or breaker on the sauna circuit, while code can call for ground-fault protection in some spaces, so a licensed electrician and your inspector settle it.

Indoors. Each model's warranty is void if the sauna is placed outdoors, so plan an inside room with space for the cabin, its door swing and any clearances its manual gives. Put it near the circuit it needs, since the manuals rule out extension cords. Ask whoever designs the room heating and ventilation to plan for the cabin as well.
