How does delivery work?
Free freight to the lower 48. Your order ships on a strapped pallet by insured LTL freight from the manufacturer's California warehouse.
When it ships. Orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days depending on the brand, and delivery to most addresses in the contiguous US takes 5 to 14 business days after shipment. Transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees.
How you will know. You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse. Most carriers then call 24 to 48 hours ahead to lock in a four hour window, and some send an email or text the morning of delivery instead. Respond promptly either way, because missed attempts trigger terminal storage fees.
How it arrives. A 53 foot semi truck arrives at your curbside and the driver delivers the pallet to the curb. Liftgate service is not included as standard, and standard delivery does not include bringing the equipment inside, up stairs, or unpacking. Someone must be present to sign.
If it arrives damaged. Walk around the pallet and check every box before signing the Bill of Lading. Cosmetic damage can be accepted, but if a carton is punctured or crushed, refuse that item and call us on (888) 500-5675 while the driver is still there. Note the damage on the Bill of Lading, photograph it, and contact us within 48 hours. Once the damage is documented on the Bill of Lading we can file a valid freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you. Signing a clean Bill of Lading releases the carrier, and claims filed after one are routinely denied. If you refuse for a reason other than damage, or without contacting us first, return freight costs may become your responsibility.
Where it ships. Free freight covers standard residential curbside delivery within the contiguous 48 states. Hawaii, Alaska and Canada are not available at standard checkout, so contact us before ordering for a freight quote.

How long. Cold plunge tubs carry a 1-year limited warranty, when bought from an authorized dealer in undamaged original packaging.
What is covered. Defects in materials and workmanship. The polycarbonate insert, the wooden shell and trim and all other components each carry 1 year, and chillers carry a 1-year manufacturer warranty. Insulated covers carry 1 year, neoprene hose covers 90 days, and replacement filters are consumables with no warranty.
Labor. Any labor cost associated with a claim is not covered. Coverage applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
What you have to do. Keep the water balanced and do not let it freeze. Corrosion from poor water maintenance and freeze damage are the two most common reasons a claim is declined. Keep your proof of purchase.
What is not covered. Fading or discoloration from UV exposure, damage from storage in below-freezing temperatures, and corrosion or discoloration caused by lack of water maintenance.

30 days from delivery. The item must come back new, unused and in its original packaging with all components, hardware and accessories. Anything assembled, used or modified cannot be returned, and electronic components such as power supplies and control panels are non returnable under manufacturer policy regardless of condition.
What a return costs. The manufacturer may charge a 20 percent restocking fee, and you are responsible for the return freight. The original shipping cost is not deducted from your refund. Any storage or carrier routing fees incurred during the return are the buyer's responsibility.
Damaged on arrival. A different process, and you are fully protected. If you accepted the delivery and documented the damage on the Bill of Lading, we handle the freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost, with no restocking fee and no return shipping.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee as long as we have not yet submitted your order to the manufacturer. After we submit it but before it ships, an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, and we waive it whenever we are not charged.
To start a return. Email your order number to sales@recoveryroomdirect.com and we issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number within one business day. Write it clearly on every box, because the warehouse will not accept returns without it. Refunds are issued within 5 business days of inspection.

52-Inch Drop-Stitch Oval Cold Plunge — Full-Body Soaking in a Portable 40-Pound Tub
The DCT Oval Inflatable Cold Plunge Tub is built from drop-stitch PVC — the same high-pressure drop-stitch construction used in rigid inflatable paddleboards. It holds approximately 102 gallons across a 46”×26” interior soaking space and inflates quickly with the included manual hand pump. At 40 lbs dry, it folds flat for storage and packs into its carry bag.
This is the tub only. A DCT chiller (sold separately) connects to the built-in 1” ID inlet and outlet fittings to reach temperatures as low as 37°F. Without a chiller, the tub functions as an ice-water vessel — fill with tap water and add ice each session. The included insulated cover helps maintain water temperature between uses.

It’s the same construction method used in rigid inflatable paddleboards designed for ocean surf.
At 52 inches long and 32 inches wide, the oval tub’s 46×26 inch interior soaking space accommodates users up to 6’4”. At 40 lbs dry, it folds and stores in the included carry bag. Inflation takes a few minutes with the included manual hand pump. No permanent installation required — set it up indoors on a waterproof surface, or outdoors on any level ground.
The built-in 1” ID inlet and outlet fittings connect directly to DCT’s chiller lineup (0.8 HP or 1.0 HP) via the included hose adapters. Once connected, the chiller circulates and cools the water to as low as 37°F without ice. The included cover insulates the water between sessions. Without a chiller, the tub works as an ice-bath vessel — add ice each session to reach your target temperature.

What is the difference between the oval and round inflatable tub?
The oval (DCT-IO-052) measures 52”×32” exterior with a 46”×26” interior soaking space — suited for elongated reclining and users up to 6’4”. The round (DCT-IR-040) has a 40” diameter footprint and a seated-upright posture; per DCT’s own FAQ it accommodates two people seated. Both hold ~102 gallons and are priced identically. Does this tub come with a chiller?
No. The price covers the tub only — inflatable tub, safety cover, anti-slip mat, hand pump, and carry bag. A chiller is sold separately. How do I use this without a chiller — can I just add ice?
Yes. Fill with cold tap water, then add 50–75 lbs of ice to bring the temperature into the 50–55°F range from room-temperature tap water. Without a chiller, temperature won’t hold long in warm conditions — each session requires fresh ice. The included insulated cover helps slow warming between uses. A DCT chiller (sold separately) eliminates ice management and holds temperature automatically.
Is drop-stitch PVC durable enough for daily cold plunge use?
Drop-stitch PVC is the same construction method used in rigid inflatable paddleboards — thousands of internal threads link the inner and outer walls, keeping the tub rigid under the weight of 850 lbs of water. It’s designed for regular, repeated use. Avoid sharp objects, prolonged direct sunlight, and sub-freezing outdoor temperatures with water inside. Drain and store indoors if temperatures will drop below freezing.
Can I use the oval tub outdoors year-round?
The oval tub is rated for three-season outdoor use — it is not designed for sub-freezing temperatures. In climates where overnight temps drop below 32°F, drain the tub and store it indoors or in a protected space. Water left standing inside at freezing temperatures can damage the fittings and material. In mild climates with temperatures above freezing, year-round outdoor use is practical.
