How does delivery work?

Free freight to the contiguous 48. Every Luraco chair ships from Luraco's factory in Arlington, Texas, as one large box on a pallet, about 380 to 420 pounds.

Delivery estimate. The product page shows your estimated delivery date in business days, and we confirm the exact date once Luraco schedules your chair.

Curbside on every i11 edition, the i9 Max Plus, the i9 Special Edition and the Model 3. The carrier books a window, someone signs, and the chair is left at the curb, not carried inside. Our Professional Setup & Assembly can bring it to your room and assemble it.

White glove on the i9 Max Plus Billionaire and Royal. Included at no charge: a two-person team brings the chair to your room, assembles it and removes the packaging.

What we need from you. Two phone numbers and a note on any stairs on the way in, which we ask for after you order.

If it arrives damaged. Note it on the paperwork before signing, photograph it, and tell us within 48 hours. Refuse a crushed or punctured carton and call us while the driver is there.

What does the warranty cover?

Home use: 5 years parts, 3 years in-home labor, 10 years leather. Luraco's own coverage on every chair we sell, with proof of purchase.

Commercial use: written cover. 1 year on parts, the first 6 months with labor, and 1 year on the leather. Tell us before you order for a gym, clinic, spa or office.

Extended plan. Adds 2 years of labor for home use, so parts and labor both run 5 years. Add it beside Add to Cart and we register it with Luraco. Not offered for commercial use.

How a claim works. Call Luraco with your receipt; Luraco troubleshoots by phone first, then sends in-home labor or a return authorization. If a claim stalls, we take it up for you.

Not covered. Misuse, unauthorized repairs, power surges, liquids, normal leather wear and cosmetic changes. Coverage stays with the first buyer at the first address.

Read the full Luraco Warranty Policy

What if I need to return it?

30 days from delivery. On the i11, the i9 Max Plus, the Model 3 Hybrid SL, and a Special Edition or i11 Big & Tall Edition ordered without a name. We handle it with Luraco, so you do not contact the manufacturer yourself.

What a return costs. A restocking fee of up to 5% may apply on a change of mind, and we waive it whenever we are not charged ourselves. You pay the return freight; we cover it when the cause is shipping damage or our error. We never deduct the original shipping from your refund.

Condition. As new, in the original box with all parts. Luraco refunds a chair only in its original packaging.

Personalized chairs are final sale. The Billionaire and Royal of both series, and a Special Edition or Big & Tall Edition ordered with a name, carry the owner's name, and Luraco does not take personalized chairs back. A fault is still covered by the warranty.

Damaged on arrival is different. Note it on the delivery paperwork, photograph it and tell us within 48 hours. A documented freight claim carries no restocking fee and no return freight.

The short answer

Luraco i11 Special Edition massage chair: a second 3D engine, backup power and your name

The Special Edition is the i11 with a second 3D engine, patented emergency backup power and your name on the remote's start screen and a leather headrest tag. Everything else carries over, including the 3D calf and knee massage system (patent pending) and the AI body scan, and Luraco adds a wrist cuff accessory. Luraco calls it the iRobotics 11 Special Edition (SE).

The massage

Two 3D

Two roller engines on the 60 inch track, the 3D calf and knee massage system (patent pending) and 18 motors.

The backup

Battery

Emergency backup power returns the chair upright if the power fails, so you can get out.

The step up

Your name

On the remote's start screen and a leather headrest tag.

It suits a buyer who wants two engines working at once, the reassurance of backup power, or a chair that carries a name. The name is optional: with one it is final sale, and without one you keep a 30 day return.

Fit and floor space

Luraco i11 Special Edition massage chair dimensions, user height and room size

Luraco rates the chair for users from 4 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 9 inches and up to 300 pounds. Plan the floor for the chair at full recline.

The chair and the space around it
User height 4′7″ to 6′9″
User weight Up to 300 lb
Seat width 22 in
Upright 48 in H × 38 in W × 65 in L
Fully reclined 47 in H × 38 in W × 87 in L
Leg rest Extends up to 8 in, set automatically
Clearance 36 in in front, 12 in behind the backrest, 18 in from the armrest to the nearest wall
Luraco's studio photo of the i11 in chocolate, reclined, the same chair body as the Special Edition
Fully reclined, in chocolate: 87 inches long and 38 wide.

The floor plan, worked out

On the i11 manual's clearances, 12 inches behind, 87 of chair and 36 in front make 135 inches, about 11 feet 3. Across, 18 inches either side of the 38 inch chair make 74 inches between two walls, or 56 with one side open.

How it massages

Inside the Luraco i11 Special Edition: two 3D engines and 3D calf and knee massage

The track sets where the rollers reach, the engines set how many places they work at once, and the new leg section carries the massage on to the feet.

The Split L-Track

The track runs 60 inches, from your neck, down your back and on under the seat. In Luraco's patent, US 10,849,819, guide rails follow the backrest's curve and split at the rotating joint, so the rollers travel through the bend. See L-track, SL-track and S-track massage chairs.

Two engines at the same time

Each engine is a roller unit Luraco sells as 3D Butterfly Technology, built on the mechanism in US 10,905,624: one motor drives the roller in three dimensional orbital motion through an offset shaft. With two, Luraco says the chair gives full back, neck and shoulder massage at the same time, on 18 motors against the i11's 14. More on 2D, 3D and 4D massage chairs.

The AI body scan

Luraco's AI body scan uses the chair's sensors at the start of each session to map the curve of your back. To skip the scan, save a user profile and open it; the chair holds up to 8, each with its own program, position and intensity.

The 3D calf and knee system

The i11's new leg section carries Luraco's 3D calf and knee massage system (patent pending). Calf rollers work both calves, set to one spot or to full automatic coverage, and a calf stretching program works the lower legs. Airbags close around the knees and squeeze in rhythm (air compression). Heat reaches the calves and knees, as well as the lower back, hands and feet.

Air, rollers, stretch and heat

Around the engines sit 52 air cells, tripled foot rollers with Achilles nodes, arm and hand rollers and shoulder and bicep airbags you can move. The powered armrests open for easier entry and exit, and their actuators stretch the hands and arms (patent pending, per Luraco).

The stretch programs add a body twist, a foot and spinal stretch and zero gravity. Heat has 5 levels, and Warm Chair keeps the chair warm with the massage off; see our heated massage chairs.

Programs and control

Nine automatic programs, a manual mode with 5 intensity levels across 6 body areas, and 5 to 30 minute sessions. The touchscreen remote gives spoken voice responses in 7 languages, a 10 W Bluetooth speaker plays music from your phone, and software updates arrive over WiFi.

Before you order

Six checks before you order the Luraco i11 Special Edition

Settle the name first, since it is fixed once Luraco personalizes the chair. The rest are easier before a 410 pound pallet reaches your curb.

  • The name, spelled exactlyUp to 20 characters for the remote's start screen and the leather tag, in the optional Owner's name row or sent after you order; we check the spelling with you first. A named chair is final sale; without a name you keep the 30 day return
  • A grounded outletProperly grounded, on a normal power circuit. Never modify the plug; a two pin socket needs an electrician first
  • The route inThe 55 by 40 by 61 inch pallet is left at the curb or driveway end, and its 55 by 34 by 47 inch box is opened there. The main body alone, without the leg rest and armrests, has to pass your doors; Luraco publishes no size for it, so call us on (888) 500-5675 with your narrowest door width. Count the stairs too
  • The floorLevel, dry and indoors, away from pools, bathrooms and direct sun; the manual warns against moving it over wood or carpet
  • The roomA strip 135 inches long, and 74 across between two walls or 56 with one side open, measured for the chair fully reclined
  • A second pair of handsThe chair weighs about 310 pounds; book a helper for delivery day and for putting it together

All five i11 editions share these outside dimensions, and every one is on our Luraco massage chairs page.

Construction

How the Luraco i11 Special Edition is built, and which parts are patented

Luraco designs, engineers and assembles the chair in Arlington, Texas, from US and global components. Issued US patents cover its Split L-Track, its 3D roller mechanism, its noise-reduction enclosure and its emergency backup power.

The battery behind the recline

The Special Edition carries patented emergency backup power: a rechargeable battery pack inside the chair, described in US 10,849,819 and US 10,905,624, returns it upright if the power fails. If the supply drops mid session, you can still get out. The i11 has no backup battery.

The leather, and the name on it

The whole chair is covered in automotive leather, and Luraco's home warranty covers that leather for 10 years. The Special Edition adds Luraco's Level I software customization, which puts the owner's name on the remote's start screen, and a genuine leather name tag on the headrest.

A quieter air system, and what is still patent pending

Luraco houses the compressor and air valves in a sound damping enclosure, the patented noise-reduction design in US 10,724,549. The calf and knee system and the hand and arm stretching are still patent pending.

The i11 Special Edition sits in our 3D massage chairs and L-track massage chairs collections.

Running cost

What the Luraco i11 Special Edition costs to run

Worked at Luraco's 200 W maximum, 0.2 kilowatts, and the US average residential rate of 18.34 cents per kilowatt hour (EIA, June 2026).

One session

1.8 cents

A full 30 minutes, the longest the timer runs, at full draw: a tenth of a kilowatt hour.

A month, daily

$0.55

One session a day for a month uses 3 kilowatt hours.

A year, daily

$6.69

Every day for a year comes to 36.5 kilowatt hours.

These are ceilings. Warm Chair can stay on while the chair is idle, and Luraco gives no separate draw for it; even at the full 200 W, an hour of it costs about 3.7 cents.

Delivery of the Luraco i11 Special Edition, and what to check at the curb

Free curbside delivery to the lower 48: the pallet is set down at your curb or driveway end, and someone must sign. The buy box shows your estimated delivery date, and we confirm the exact date once Luraco schedules your chair.

Prefer it carried in? Add Professional Setup & Assembly in the buy box: a two-person team brings the chair to the room, assembles it and removes the packaging (see in-home massage chair delivery). Freight terms: our Luraco shipping policy.

Before delivery

Clear the route, book a helper and choose the spot.

At the truck

Look at every side of the box before you sign; note any crush, puncture or water mark on the receipt and photograph it.

Before you assemble

Choose the Special Edition when the second engine, the backup power or the name is the reason to buy. The i11 drops all three; the Big & Tall Edition adds a wider seat for larger users; the Billionaire and Royal add Level II software and the owner's photo, and the Royal 18K gold.

Warranty and certification

Luraco i11 Special Edition massage chair warranty, in writing for home and for business

Luraco's warranty table is the same for all five i11 editions. Personalization changes returns, never cover.

Warranty
Home use 5 years parts, 3 years labor in your home
Leather, home use 10 years, worded "Guaranteed No Tearing"
Business use 1 year parts, 6 months labor, 1 year leather
Extended plan Luraco's plan, in the buy box, for home use: labor to 5 years
Transfer None. Original buyer, original address; tell Luraco before you move
Not covered Power surges, liquids, animals and cracked remote screens. A service visit that finds no fault may be charged

The extended warranty in the buy box is Luraco's own plan, which we sell on its behalf and register with Luraco within the 90 day window. It adds 2 years of labor, to 5 years alongside the parts, for home use; a gym, spa, clinic or office gets the business terms. Luraco excludes normal leather wear, so read the 10 year term as cover against tearing.

How a claim works

Call the Luraco customer service line in the manual with proof of purchase. After phone advice comes in-home labor within 3 years of home use, or a return authorization to send the chair to a service center; in-home service excludes Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Luraco excludes chairs from unauthorized dealers, and Recovery Room Direct is an authorized Luraco dealer. Read the full terms in our Luraco warranty policy.

Certification

Made by an FDA-registered manufacturer; the chair is listed with the FDA as a Class I therapeutic massager.

Buyer questions

Luraco i11 Special Edition, questions buyers ask before ordering

What does the Luraco i11 Special Edition add to the i11?

A second 3D engine (18 motors against 14), patented emergency backup power, and the owner's name on the remote's start screen and a leather headrest tag. Luraco also adds the wrist blood pressure and heart rate monitor accessory. Both share the AI body scan, the calf and knee system and 8 user profiles.

How does the Luraco i11 Special Edition differ from the i9 Max Plus Special Edition?

Both have two 3D engines, 18 motors, the 60 inch Split L-Track, backup power, the owner's name and the wrist cuff. The i11 version adds Luraco's AI body scan, the 3D calf and knee massage system (patent pending) with knee air compression and calf and knee heat, and 8 user profiles against 5. Luraco rates the i11 Special Edition for users up to 6 feet 9 inches and 300 pounds, and the i9 Max Plus Special Edition up to 6 feet 10 inches and 300 pounds. Choose the i11 Special Edition for the calves, the knees and the body scan. Choose the Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition massage chair for a user close to 6 feet 10 inches.

Can I return the Luraco i11 Special Edition?

Yes, without a name: within 30 days of delivery, in its original packaging, with a return authorization we obtain from Luraco; you pay the return freight. A named chair is final sale, as Luraco does not accept returns of personalized chairs. Full terms: our Luraco return policy.

What happens if the power cuts out during a session in the Luraco i11 Special Edition?

A built in rechargeable battery, covered by Luraco's patents, returns the chair to its starting position so you can get out. Luraco publishes no battery capacity; the standard i11 has no backup.

What name can go on the Luraco i11 Special Edition?

Up to 20 characters, on the remote's start screen and a leather headrest tag; Luraco's sample tag reads "Specially Customized For" above the name. Type it in the optional Owner's name row or send it after you order; we confirm the spelling first. A named chair is final sale.

When will the Luraco i11 Special Edition arrive?

The buy box shows your estimated delivery date, and we confirm the exact date once Luraco schedules your chair. Delivery is free curbside to the lower 48.

Will I fit in the Luraco i11 Special Edition, and how much room does it need?

Luraco rates it for users from 4 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 9 inches and up to 300 pounds, on a 22 inch seat. With the manual's clearances, plan a floor strip 135 inches long and 74 across between two walls, or 56 with one side open.

What outlet does the Luraco i11 Special Edition need, and what does it cost to run?

A properly grounded household outlet on a normal power circuit; Luraco rates the chair at 200 W maximum. At the EIA's June 2026 average of 18.34 cents per kilowatt hour, a year of daily 30 minute sessions costs about $6.69.

What is the warranty on the Luraco i11 Special Edition?

Home use: 5 years parts, 3 years in-home labor and 10 years leather against tearing. Business use: 1 year parts, 6 months labor and 1 year leather. Luraco's home-use extended warranty in the buy box takes labor to 5 years; ask and we email you the terms.

Does the Luraco i11 Special Edition arrive assembled?

No. It comes in one box as main body, leg rest, armrests and remote, for two people to assemble. The leg rest hangs on lock pins, the armrests fix with knob screws, and the manual walks through each step. To have it assembled in your room instead, add Professional Setup & Assembly in the buy box.
