Shipping & Delivery
Shipping & Delivery
Your Dreampod product ships free via ABF or UPS Freight to any address in the contiguous 48 U.S. states. In-stock items leave our warehouse within 48 hours of payment, and delivery typically takes 5–8 business days from the ship date, depending on your location.
Made-to-order float pods. Float pods (V2, Vmax, Sport, Home Float Pro, Home Float Plus, and Mineral Soaker) may be built to order if not currently in stock. Contact us at (888) 500-5675 before ordering to confirm current availability and estimated ship date.
Scheduling your delivery. All Dreampod products ship as oversized freight on a pallet. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment before the truck arrives. Respond promptly — missed delivery attempts can result in storage fees or the item being returned at your expense.
What to expect at delivery. Standard delivery is curbside — the driver will lower the shipment to ground level using the truck’s liftgate, but will not bring it inside or assist with installation. Have help available to move the equipment once it’s off the truck. White Glove delivery (inside placement) may be available for large float pods — call (888) 500-5675 before ordering to arrange.
IMPORTANT — inspect before you sign. Walk around the shipment and check every box for damage before signing the delivery receipt. Note any damage, dents, or missing items directly on the Bill of Lading before the driver leaves. If you observe major structural damage, refuse the delivery — we will arrange a replacement at no cost. Signing a clean Bill of Lading releases the freight carrier from all damage claims.
Alaska, Hawaii & outside the contiguous U.S. Shipping beyond the contiguous 48 states is handled on a case-by-case basis and is not available at standard checkout. Contact us at (888) 500-5675 for a custom freight quote.
Free freight applies to standard residential curbside delivery within the contiguous 48 U.S. states. In-stock items ship within 48 hours of payment confirmation. Transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees. View our full Shipping & Delivery policy →

How to start a return. Email us at sales@recoveryroomdirect.com or call (888) 500-5675 with your order number and proof of purchase. We will guide you through the process and coordinate with Dreampod on your behalf. Do not ship the item back until we have confirmed your return is authorized.
Condition required. The item must be unused and in the same condition you received it, including all original packaging, components, and accessories. Items that have been assembled, used, or modified are not eligible for return.
What a return costs. We want to be upfront: returning large freight equipment involves real costs. A 20% restocking fee is deducted from your refund. You are also responsible for the cost of return freight shipping, and the original outbound shipping cost is deducted from your refund amount. Shipping costs in both directions are non-refundable.
Your refund. Once Dreampod receives and inspects the returned item, we will notify you of its status. If approved, your refund is issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of inspection approval.
Damaged on arrival? If you documented damage on the Bill of Lading at delivery, contact us within 48 hours with photos. We will handle the freight claim and arrange a replacement. No restocking fee applies to properly documented freight damage claims.
Cancellations. If you need to cancel, contact us immediately at (888) 500-5675 or sales@recoveryroomdirect.com. Cancellations before an item ships are handled on a case-by-case basis. Once an item has shipped, the standard 30-day return process applies.
The 30-day return window runs from the date of delivery. The 20% restocking fee and any return freight costs are deducted from your refund. Questions? Call (888) 500-5675 or email sales@recoveryroomdirect.com — Mon–Sat, 9am–6pm EST. View our full Return Policy →

The Dreampod V2 — Commercial Float Pod Trusted by Float Centers
Dreampod’s most proven commercial float pod. TCP/IP browser management, dual chemical injection, custom stainless steel filtration, and 2,000W+ titanium heating — built for float centers and serious wellness facilities that depend on uptime.
Financing available at checkout on orders of $999+. FSA & HSA may be accepted — consult your plan administrator.
There are two kinds of float pods: the kind that sell you on the vision, and the kind that actually hold up at session six on a Tuesday. The Dreampod V2 is the second kind. This is not a casual wellness purchase — and we want you to go into it with your eyes open. It requires a dedicated 220V circuit, a room with at least 10’ × 14’ of floor space, and a real commitment to monthly water chemistry management. If that sounds right for where you are, you’re looking at a commercial float pod trusted by dozens of float centers and wellness facilities worldwide — with the TCP/IP control, dual chemical injection, and stainless steel filtration to match.
Browse our full float tank collection to compare all Dreampod models, or call us at (888) 500-5675 to talk through which pod fits your space and budget.
Run Your Float Operation From Any Browser
The Dreampod V2 is built around a TCP/IP wired network connection — not a proprietary app, not Bluetooth, not a wall panel that needs replacing. You manage everything from a standard web browser on your laptop, PC, or phone.
From a single browser window, you can schedule sessions, start the filtration cycle, monitor water temperature, set UV sterilization timing, and trigger the dual chemical dosing system. The V2 also runs an automatic System Watchdog that monitors for irregularities between sessions — so your float room is being managed even when nobody’s watching.
For float center operators, this is the difference between running a wellness business and constantly babysitting a tank. For home buyers, it means your floats run on your schedule — not on a manual protocol before each session.
No app required. Any browser-connected device works. CAT 5 Ethernet to your router is the only network requirement.
Three Systems That Set a Commercial Float Pod Apart
Three systems that separate a professional float pod from a home wellness product — each one built to run thousands of sessions without failure.
Stainless Steel Filtration
A custom-engineered stainless steel enclosure houses a replaceable 10-micron bag filter — removing debris as small as one quarter the diameter of a human hair. The magnetic drive shaft pump is anti-corrosive, relatively silent, and designed to run indefinitely in the salt-saturated environment. Filter bags replace once or twice monthly depending on usage volume.
Tactile Sound System
Two tactile transducers embedded in the front of the pod deliver music through the water itself — you feel the sound as much as hear it, without any above-water speaker bleed. The system supports MP3 upload and full playlist management through the TCP/IP panel. Optional DreamScape audio programs offer guided journeys and binaural soundscapes designed specifically for the float environment.
Dual Chemical Injection
The V2 runs two disinfectant systems simultaneously through a computer-controlled dosing schedule — eliminating the guesswork that leads to chemistry drift between sessions. Combined with a UV light array that neutralizes micro-organisms on every filtration pass, the result is a sanitation system that maintains itself rather than requiring manual intervention after every float.
What the Research Actually Shows
Float therapy research has grown significantly in the last decade. Here is what the science says — and where honest framing matters.
Anxiety and stress — strong evidence. A 2018 clinical trial by Feinstein et al. (PLOS ONE) found a Cohen’s d of 2.15 for state anxiety reduction after a single float session across 50 clinical anxiety patients — an exceptionally large effect size. A 2025 systematic review of 63 studies and 1,838 participants found consistent positive results across all 4 clinical anxiety studies and 7 psychology studies.
Pain reduction — moderate evidence. All 11 pain studies in the same 2025 systematic review found evidence of analgesic effects. A 2026 scoping review of 8 RCTs confirmed reductions in pain frequency and intensity. Acute pain relief is consistently reported; long-term chronic pain cure is not established — we don’t overstate what the research supports.
Recovery and rest — emerging evidence. Pilot research suggests float therapy may support muscle recovery and subjective sleep quality in athletes, though this evidence is earlier-stage. Magnesium absorption through the skin from the Epsom salt solution remains an area of active study.
Epilepsy, kidney disease, low blood pressure, open wounds or broken skin, contagious skin conditions, first-trimester pregnancy, or any condition that affects temperature regulation. Float therapy is a complementary wellness practice — it is not a replacement for professional medical care.
Who the Dreampod V2 Is Built For
Three buyer profiles where the V2 earns its position as the right commercial float pod — and one honest note on who should look elsewhere.
Running a Float Business
The V2 is Dreampod’s most popular choice for float center expansion — the pod operators add when their first tank fills up and they need a second or third unit that runs identically. The TCP/IP panel lets you manage multiple pods from one browser window, schedule sessions across all units, and monitor performance remotely. At 3 sessions/day × $70 average, one V2 generates roughly $6,300/month in gross revenue before operating costs.
Adding Float to an Existing Facility
Float therapy has one of the highest gross margins in wellness services — $5–$10 in consumables per session against $70–$100 in revenue. For a medspa, athletic recovery center, or high-end gym that already has a client base, a single V2 becomes a revenue anchor that drives membership retention and premium service positioning. Installation requires a dedicated 220V circuit and a room no smaller than 10’ × 14’; our experts can walk through the requirements with you before purchase.
The Private Float Room at Home
Commercial float center visits at $70–$100 per session add up quickly for serious floaters. At 2 sessions per week, you’re spending over $7,000 annually for scheduled access in a shared facility. Home float ownership flips that math while adding spontaneous access, complete privacy, and no travel friction. The V2 is a serious infrastructure investment — one that rewards floaters who are committed to the practice, not just experimenting with it. If you’ve been floating for months and already know it works for you, this is the right next step.
A Float Center Owner on Why Commercial-Grade Equipment Matters
What operators discover after their first commercial float pod — and why the gap between consumer and commercial-grade equipment shows up in the session count.
The Math Behind the Investment
Float therapy economics, laid out honestly — for both commercial operators and dedicated home buyers.
Estimated gross revenue per month at 3 sessions/day × $70 avg. session price. After direct consumable costs of ~$10/session, gross profit per float is approximately $60. Payback at 3 sessions/day: ~40 months. At 5 sessions/day (typical float center peak): under 24 months.
Float Center ModelAt 2 sessions per week with roughly $200/month in maintenance costs, a committed home floater covers the pod’s purchase price in approximately 24 months. After that, every float is effectively free. The math works for anyone floating 100+ times per year.
Home Float ModelEstimated home monthly cost: filter bags ($15–40), disinfectant chemicals ($10–30), pH adjusters ($5–15), salt top-offs ($10–30), electricity ($20–60), plus UV bulb replacement annually. Budget approximately 30 min/week for chemistry checks and post-session filtration. Commercial facilities should plan higher consumable costs at volume.
Estimated Operating CostChoose Your Finish
The Dreampod V2 is available in two exterior finishes — the same polished fiberglass construction, two very different aesthetics.
The standard V2 finish — bright white polished fiberglass that’s easy to inspect for cleanliness and photographs well in commercial marketing materials. The most popular choice for float centers where the pod needs to look pristine for every guest.
Select White — Add to Cart
The premium exterior option — a deep matte-finish black that photographs exceptionally well in high-end spa and penthouse settings. The interior experience is identical to the White variant.

Frequently Asked Questions
Real questions from buyers evaluating a commercial float pod purchase.
Does the Dreampod V2 have an app?
No. The V2 uses TCP/IP wired network control and is managed entirely through a standard web browser on any device — laptop, PC, iPhone, or iPad. There is no proprietary Dreampod app for the V2 or the Vmax. You connect the pod to your router via a CAT 5 Ethernet cable and access the control panel at a local IP address in your browser. This is a deliberate design choice: browser-based control requires no app updates, no account creation, and no dependency on a third-party platform.
How much space does the Dreampod V2 require?
The V2 has an exterior footprint of approximately 8.37’ × 5.7’ (101” × 68”) with a height of 4.35’ (52”). Dreampod recommends a minimum room size of 10’ × 14’ to allow adequate clearance for the lid to open fully and for user entry/exit. The room should also have proper ventilation to manage humidity; moisture buildup is a common cause of facility damage in float installations without adequate airflow.
Critically: the V2 ships as a single piece and is not designed to fit through a standard 36” residential doorway. Confirm your access pathway width — typically a double door or exterior access point — before placing your order. If space is a constraint, the Sport Float Pod (3-piece assembly, fits standard doors) may be the better option.
What are the electrical requirements for the Dreampod V2?
The V2 requires a dedicated 220V / 60Hz single-phase circuit with a 15A GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) breaker. The heater draws 2,000W+ as the primary load. The electrical box includes built-in GFCI protection both inside and outside. An optional water leakage sensor can be configured to send SMS alerts to your phone if a leak is detected.
This electrical requirement is something to plan and install before your pod arrives — not something to figure out on delivery day. Call our team at (888) 500-5675 if you need guidance on what to brief your electrician.
What is the ongoing monthly maintenance cost and time commitment?
Estimated monthly consumable cost for home use is approximately $100–$300, including filter bags ($15–40/month), disinfectant chemicals ($10–30), pH adjusters ($5–15), Epsom salt top-offs ($10–30), and electricity ($20–60). Expect an annual UV bulb replacement of approximately $40–$120. Commercial facilities will see higher consumable costs proportional to session volume.
Time commitment is approximately 20–30 minutes after each float session for the filtration cycle to run, plus a weekly chemistry check of 10–15 minutes (pH testing, chemical adjustment). The dual injection system and automated dosing schedule reduce manual intervention significantly compared to manually dosed pods — but float tanks are not zero-maintenance equipment. Owning one is a real commitment to water chemistry discipline.
What is the difference between the Dreampod V2 and the Vmax?
Both the V2 and Vmax use TCP/IP browser control and dual chemical injection. The key differences: the Vmax has a larger interior (7’10” × 5’4” vs. the V2’s 7’5” × 4’9”) and is designed to optionally accommodate couple floating, at a higher price point. If you’re a large-framed user, plan to offer couple float sessions, or want the maximum interior space available, the Vmax is the step up. For most commercial float center applications and single-person home installations, the V2 covers everything you need.
Is the Dreampod V2 suitable as a home float pod?
Yes, provided you have the space and infrastructure. The V2 is Dreampod’s commercial flagship, which makes it excellent for home use if you have a dedicated room. The math works well for committed floaters: if you currently pay $70–$100/session at a commercial float center and float 2+ times per week, you’re spending over $7,000 annually with scheduled access, no privacy, and travel friction. Home ownership flips that equation.
What we don’t recommend: buying a V2 if you’ve never floated before. Visit a float center first, float 8–10 times, and confirm the practice works for your nervous system. The ideal home V2 buyer is an established floater who knows they’re committed to the practice long-term.
What is the warranty on the Dreampod V2?
The Dreampod V2 carries a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. Warranty claims require an original purchase receipt and the unit must not have been tampered with or modified. Third-party documentation suggests the fiberglass structure is covered for 2 years under component-specific terms — confirm the full warranty breakdown with Dreampod directly at the time of purchase. Extended warranty options may be available; ask our team for current offerings at (888) 500-5675.
Is financing available, and can I use FSA or HSA funds?
Financing is available at checkout on orders of $999+ through Shopify Pay / Affirm — you can spread the investment over multiple months. No APR or monthly amount is guaranteed until checkout based on your specific terms.
FSA and HSA funds may be accepted for float therapy equipment, depending on your plan administrator’s guidelines and whether you have a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from a licensed healthcare provider. This is not tax advice — consult your plan administrator and a qualified financial advisor before using pre-tax health funds for this purchase.
Who should not use a float pod?
Float therapy is generally well-tolerated, but some conditions warrant physician consultation before floating. These include: epilepsy or seizure disorders, kidney disease, low blood pressure (hypotension), open wounds or broken skin, active skin infections or contagious skin conditions, first-trimester pregnancy, and conditions that affect your ability to regulate body temperature. Float therapy is a complementary wellness practice — it is not a replacement for professional medical treatment. If you have questions about your specific situation, speak with your healthcare provider before purchasing.
Am I buying from an authorized Dreampod dealer?
Yes. Recovery Room Direct is an authorized Dreampod dealer. Purchasing through us means your warranty is fully valid through Dreampod’s manufacturer support.
