How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Freight, quoted for your address. These are crated units of roughly 1,300 to 4,800 pounds going to residential addresses, so there is no flat rate. Send us your postcode before you order and we will come back with a real figure.
The outdoor cabins arrive fully assembled. All eight travel as one piece, so there is no build on your weekend, but a forklift or crane has to reach the pad. Measure the gate, the side return and anything overhead first.
The indoor cabins arrive in panels. The Lumaria, Aalto and Astra are built in place by two to four people. What matters is the route in, not the room itself.
Delivery is curbside and someone has to be there. The carrier calls to book a window and brings it to the kerb or driveway. Moving it onto the pad is yours to arrange.
Inspect before you sign. Note any damage on the delivery paperwork while the driver is there, photograph everything, and tell us within 48 hours. Refuse a structurally damaged crate and call us.
Lead times. Twelve weeks on every outdoor cabin, four to eight on the three indoor models, built to order from the day you order.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
Two warranties, not one. ThermaSol covers the sauna room and Harvia covers the heater inside it. They differ in length and they are claimed in different places.
The sauna room: 1 year. From substantial project completion, covering defective workmanship and materials such as mis-cuts, rough lumber or knot loss.
The heater, control and power box: 5 years residential. One year in a commercial setting. Stones and heating elements carry one year either way.
Two conditions decide most claims. The room must be registered within 15 days of purchase, and installed by a certified electrician or qualified service representative.
Commercial use voids it. ThermaSol excludes residential units used in any non-residential setting, naming hotels, spas, gyms, health clubs and short-term rentals. Tell us before you order and we will quote a range that is warranted for it.
Who you call. Cabin claims go through ThermaSol and we start them for you. Harvia heaters are serviced by Harvia US directly, which is a separate route.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. Cancelling before it ships costs nothing at all, and on a twelve week cabin there is usually room to change your mind.
Condition required. As new, unused, unassembled and in its original packaging with every component. Once a unit has been sited, connected or assembled it is no longer returnable.
Get an authorisation first. Contact us with your order number, we raise it with ThermaSol, and you ship within 14 days with the authorisation number written on the crate.
What a return costs. A restocking fee of up to 5% may apply and you pay the return freight, which is substantial on a crated sauna. We do not deduct the original outbound shipping. Ask us for an estimate before you commit.
Damaged on arrival is a freight claim, not a return. Note it on the paperwork while the driver is present, photograph it before anything moves, and tell us within 48 hours. Handled that way it costs you nothing.
Refunds. To the original payment method once the unit is received and inspected, normally within 5 to 10 business days.

The short answer
A slatted screen that turns one open face of a Nordic Misty Pergola into a private one
The Nordic Misty Privacy Fence is a black batten panel made to the Pergola's own widths. Every installation step ThermaSol publishes for it attaches it to a Pergola — the back of either size, or the side of the Medium — so buy it alongside a Pergola, not on its own.
Two sizes
52 or 79 in
Matched to the Pergola Small and the Pergola Medium. There is no other fitment.
Weight
167 or 200 lb
Shipping weights. Assembled, 58 lb for the Small and 90 lb for the Medium.
Fixings supplied
9 or 15 screws
The Small ships with nine 4.2 x 75 mm screws. The Medium adds two filler pieces and six 4.2 x 55 mm screws for side mounting.
Which one fits
The screen is sized to the pergola, so the sizes pair one to one

The Small Privacy Fence suits the Nordic Misty Pergola Small, which is 52 inches wide. The Medium suits the Pergola Medium at 79 inches. Both pergolas stand 86 inches high and the screens are cut to that frame.
The Medium is the more capable of the two. It ships with two filler pieces that are used only when the screen goes on a side wall of the Medium Pergola, because the sides are slightly wider than the back. It can also be hung vertically or horizontally, so the battens can run either way depending on how you want it to read.
There is one honest gap here, and we would rather state it than invent a number. ThermaSol's fence manual gives a dimension line for each size, but that line repeats the pergola's bounding box rather than the panel's own height and width. Neither ThermaSol nor Kirami publishes a standalone panel dimension, so we have not published one. What is certain, from the manual's own installation drawings, is which pergola each size fits.
How it mounts
Three screws a side into the posts, three into the top frame
The method is the same across all three positions, and it is screwed from the outside of the pergola.
- Back of the Pergola Small. Align the screen roughly in the middle of the pergola's vertical posts. Three 4.2 x 75 mm screws into each post from outside, then three more into the top frame. A slight gap between screen and pergola is expected.
- Back of the Pergola Medium. Identical, and it can be set vertically or horizontally. The gap falls between the screen and the pergola deck.
- Side of the Pergola Medium. Fit the two filler pieces first, three 4.2 x 55 mm screws per piece. Keep the outermost screws about 15 cm in from the edges to stop the wood cracking — on the horizontal orientation, fix them to the third slat from the top and the bottom. Then mount as above.
The battens can face either way. ThermaSol's manual notes that it is also possible to install the screen so that the battens binding the wall sit on the visible side, which is a styling choice rather than a structural one.
It is a straightforward job with hand tools and two people. The one thing to get right is the 15 cm setback on the filler-piece screws, because that is the instruction that stops a split.

Buyer questions
What people ask before ordering a Privacy Fence
Can I use it as a free-standing garden fence?
No instruction exists for that. Every installation step ThermaSol publishes fixes the screen to a Nordic Misty Pergola's posts and top frame, and there are no ground fixings in the part list. Treat it as a pergola panel.
Which size do I need?
Match it to the pergola: Small Fence for the Pergola Small, Medium Fence for the Pergola Medium. If you are ordering both at once we will check the pairing before the order goes in.
How many can I fit to one pergola?
The manual documents the back of either size and the sides of the Medium. The filler pieces that make a side mount possible come two to a Medium Fence, so a side panel uses one fence kit. If you want more than one face screened, order one fence per face and tell us which faces, so we can check you have the right mix.
Which way do the battens run?
Your choice on the Medium, which can be hung vertically or horizontally. ThermaSol also notes you can mount the screen with the binding battens on the visible side if you prefer that look.
Will it go grey?
Yes, like every outdoor timber in the range — roughly a year, depending on sun exposure. Colour change and moisture movement are excluded from the warranty because they are what wood does, not manufacturing faults.
What is the lead time?
About 12 weeks, the same as the rest of the Nordic Misty range. These are made to order in Finland and shipped to the US.
What is the warranty?
One year from ThermaSol, from substantial project completion. Kirami's own warranty in Europe is 24 months on materials and manufacturing defects, and six months for commercial use, but your contract as a US buyer is with ThermaSol and their term is the one that applies.
