Finnmark Shipping Policy

Finnmark saunas and the SoulCold plunge ship by freight with no delivery charge to the contiguous 48. Accessories travel by parcel and follow our store-wide threshold, so a cushion or a box of filters can fall below it and carry a flat charge. Either way the figure is shown at checkout before you pay.

The saunas and the plunge come by freight. They ship palletized, as flat panels or staves rather than as a finished room. The carrier calls to book a window, someone has to sign, and the delivery is curbside rather than inside. An FD-1 crate weighs about 349 pounds and the barrels are over 1,000, so plan two people and somewhere flat and dry to stage it.

Cushions, covers, the backrest and the filters come by parcel. No appointment and no signature. They can ship separately from a sauna and often arrive first.

Measure your access first. A sauna arrives as panels, so the narrowest doorway, stair turn or lift on the route matters more than the finished footprint does. Tell us before you order if a truck cannot reach your door, and we will work out whether it fits.

Inspect before you sign. Walk the pallet while the driver is there. Note any crushed corner, tear or water mark on the delivery paperwork, be specific rather than writing subject to inspection, and photograph the carton and the contents. Report any damage to us within 48 hours, with photographs, before the sauna is assembled. If a carton or pallet is punctured, crushed or structurally damaged, refuse that item and call us on (888) 500-5675 while the driver is still there, so we can authorize the refusal and start the replacement.

Where we ship. The contiguous 48 at no delivery charge. Canada is a flat freight charge quoted at the time of order. Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii are quoted case by case, so ask us first. Freight cannot go to a P.O. box.

Lead times. The estimate on each product page is the distributor's usual dispatch time for stocked items, and we confirm the current position when you order. The FD-6 and FD-7 barrels are sold as dated preorders, with the month on the product page.

Not included: the electrical work and the assembly. Every Finnmark sauna wants a dedicated circuit of the rating on its page, and the cabins are a two person build. If you would rather not, we offer professional setup and assembly.
