PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Split-face olivine diabase. The broken faces give the stones more surface area and more grip on each other, so they hold heat and take a water throw better than smooth stone.
One box holds 44 lbs of split-face stone graded 2 to 4 in (5 to 10 cm). Your heater page tells you how many boxes that heater takes. Shipping is charged per box at checkout, including when the stones are ordered with a heater. Order the full amount: Harvia sets a minimum stone charge for every heater, and a half-filled stone space lets the elements radiate straight out at the room instead of into the stone.
Rinse the stones before the first heat. Stack them loosely so air can pass between them, never pack them tight, and restack once a year.

Harvia specifies this part for those models, and the matching part differs from one family to the next, so check the model name on your heater before you order.
