How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Freight, quoted for your address. These are crated units of roughly 1,300 to 4,800 pounds going to residential addresses, so there is no flat rate. Send us your postcode before you order and we will come back with a real figure.
The outdoor cabins arrive fully assembled. All eight travel as one piece, so there is no build on your weekend, but a forklift or crane has to reach the pad. Measure the gate, the side return and anything overhead first.
The indoor cabins arrive in panels. The Lumaria, Aalto and Astra are built in place by two to four people. What matters is the route in, not the room itself.
Delivery is curbside and someone has to be there. The carrier calls to book a window and brings it to the kerb or driveway. Moving it onto the pad is yours to arrange.
Inspect before you sign. Note any damage on the delivery paperwork while the driver is there, photograph everything, and tell us within 48 hours. Refuse a structurally damaged crate and call us.
Lead times. Twelve weeks on every outdoor cabin, four to eight on the three indoor models, built to order from the day you order.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
Two warranties, not one. ThermaSol covers the sauna room and Harvia covers the heater inside it. They differ in length and they are claimed in different places.
The sauna room: 1 year. From substantial project completion, covering defective workmanship and materials such as mis-cuts, rough lumber or knot loss.
The heater, control and power box: 5 years residential. One year in a commercial setting. Stones and heating elements carry one year either way.
Two conditions decide most claims. The room must be registered within 15 days of purchase, and installed by a certified electrician or qualified service representative.
Commercial use voids it. ThermaSol excludes residential units used in any non-residential setting, naming hotels, spas, gyms, health clubs and short-term rentals. Tell us before you order and we will quote a range that is warranted for it.
Who you call. Cabin claims go through ThermaSol and we start them for you. Harvia heaters are serviced by Harvia US directly, which is a separate route.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. Cancelling before it ships costs nothing at all, and on a twelve week cabin there is usually room to change your mind.
Condition required. As new, unused, unassembled and in its original packaging with every component. Once a unit has been sited, connected or assembled it is no longer returnable.
Get an authorisation first. Contact us with your order number, we raise it with ThermaSol, and you ship within 14 days with the authorisation number written on the crate.
What a return costs. A restocking fee of up to 5% may apply and you pay the return freight, which is substantial on a crated sauna. We do not deduct the original outbound shipping. Ask us for an estimate before you commit.
Damaged on arrival is a freight claim, not a return. Note it on the paperwork while the driver is present, photograph it before anything moves, and tell us within 48 hours. Handled that way it costs you nothing.
Refunds. To the original payment method once the unit is received and inspected, normally within 5 to 10 business days.

The short answer
The ThermaSol Vue is a mirror-glass outdoor sauna that disappears into a garden
Floor to ceiling mirrored glass in black enamel frames, on a cabin 79 inches wide. From the outside the Vue reflects the garden back at you. From the bench it is a window. That is the entire proposition, and it is why this cabin costs what it does.
The ground
79 × 87 in
The cabin itself. ThermaSol publishes no placement clearance for the Vue, so allow working room on all four sides for the delivery machine and for later service access to the heater.
The people
3 to 4
ThermaSol's figure. Tyrol panel walls and thermally modified aspen benches, with RGB LED colour lighting on a remote.
The circuit
240V, 37.5 A
The 9 kW Harvia Virta draws 37.5 amps on 240 volt single phase and wants a minimum 8 AWG 90 °C copper feed.
Inside the cabin
Mirrored outside, glass inside

The Vue's front is a floor to ceiling mirrored glass panel in a black enamel frame. Mirror glazing is one-way in daylight: the cabin reads as a dark reflective box from the garden path while the person on the bench has an uninterrupted view out. After dark, with the interior lit, that reverses. It is worth knowing before you site it opposite a neighbour's window.
Inside, Tyrol panel walls and thermally modified aspen benches, with RGB LED colour lighting controlled by remote.
Living with mirror glazing
Three practical things, none of which ThermaSol says on its page. Mirror glass is a coating on the outer face, so it cleans like glass rather than like a mirror and shows water spots in the same way. It reflects a meaningful share of solar gain, which is why a mirrored cabin in full sun is not the oven a clear-glazed one would be. And it reads very differently through the seasons: against bare winter branches the Vue is a dark slab, and against summer planting it very nearly vanishes.
The dimension ThermaSol does not publish
There is no interior area and no interior linear dimension published for the Vue. Only three cabins in ThermaSol's range have spec sheets, and the Vue is not one of them. We are not going to derive an interior from the exterior and a guessed wall thickness. If your plan depends on a bench run, ask and we will put it to ThermaSol in writing.
Vue or Vera
Two mirrored cabins, and how to choose between them
The Vue and the Vera are the only ThermaSol cabins with mirrored glass and the only two offered in a door hand. They are not the same cabin in two sizes.
The Vue is 79 inches wide on a 9 kW heater, listed for 3 to 4 people, with a floor to ceiling mirrored front. The Vera is 63 inches wide on an 8 kW heater, listed for 2 to 3, and ThermaSol describes it with dual mirrored walls rather than one mirrored front. Sixteen inches of width is the difference between a bench that seats three across and one that seats two.
Both are 87 inches deep and 89 high, so the choice is purely about width, capacity and heater. If the site is a balcony or a roof terrace, ThermaSol pitches the Vera for exactly that and does not pitch the Vue the same way.
Before you order
Five checks that are cheap now and expensive later
1. The base
2,425 pounds assembled, 2,646 in transit, on a level and drained base. If the plan is a deck, confirm the structure against that load before ordering.
2. The approach
Delivered fully assembled, so a forklift or crane has to reach the pad. Measure the gate, the side return and anything overhead.
3. The sightlines
Unique to this cabin. Mirrored glass is a feature in an open garden and a problem facing a boundary. Stand where the front will face before you commit to the orientation.
4. The electrician
ThermaSol requires a licensed electrician for the heater installation.
5. The door hand
Door left and door right are separate SKUs at the same price, and the choice is made at order. Decide it against the approach path rather than the view.
How it is built
Three things about the Vue you cannot change afterwards

The glass
Mirror glazed, floor to ceiling, in black enamel frames. ThermaSol quotes glass thicknesses inconsistently across its own range, so no millimetre figure appears here.
The envelope
Multi layer wall construction with sustainable wood fibre insulation. ThermaSol describes the roof only as durable and all-weather and does not name a membrane, so neither do we.
The hand
Door left or door right is a structural choice made at the factory, not an adjustment afterwards.
Heater and circuit
A 9 kW Harvia Virta on a CX45 control
The Vue ships with a Harvia Virta at 9.0 kW and a Harvia CX45 control, both fitted.
Harvia's North American manual Y05-0767 lists that heater at 37.5 amps on 240 volt single phase, on a minimum 8 AWG conductor rated to 90 °C. The arithmetic agrees: 37.5 amps at 240 volts is 9,000 watts.
Why there is no breaker size here
Harvia does not publish one. None of the three Harvia North American manuals gives a fuse or breaker rating for any heater in this family. They publish current draw and a minimum conductor gauge and leave the overcurrent device to the installer. Your electrician sizes it against 37.5 amps under the NEC and local code.
Harvia does give one instruction plainly, in section 3.7: the heater feed must not run through an RCD or GFI.
And why there is no sizing check
Harvia publishes a floor area range for each heater, which is the honest way to check a heater against a room. We cannot run that check on the Vue, because ThermaSol publishes no interior area for it. We would rather tell you the check is unavailable than invent an interior to run it against.
Running cost
What an hour in the Vue costs to heat
A 9 kW element runs flat out while the room comes up, then cycles to hold temperature. Across a typical hour, counting both phases, budget roughly 5.4 kilowatt hours.
At 17 cents a kilowatt hour that is about $0.92 an hour of use, or near $12 a month at three one hour sessions a week. Put your own utility rate in, because it moves the answer more than the cabin does.
What you get
What arrives, and what is separate
In the delivery
The assembled cabin in your chosen door hand, with the Harvia Virta and the CX45 control fitted and the RGB lighting installed.
Not in the delivery
The base, the electrical supply and the electrician, the machine that lifts it into place, and site preparation. Freight is quoted rather than published, so talk to us before ordering and we will get a real number for your address.
Delivery and siting
It arrives built, which changes the job

The Vue leaves the distributor finished and arrives as one 2,646 pound unit. That takes the build out of your weekend and replaces it with a lifting problem: machine access to the pad, an approach wide enough for the cabin plus rigging, and someone on site to direct placement.
Once it is down and level the remaining work is the electrical connection and filling the stone basket. Leave service access to the heater: an installation that prevents it is excluded from the warranty.

Compare models
Where the Vue sits in ThermaSol's outdoor range
| Model | Exterior | Interior | People | Heater |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vue | 79 × 87 in | not published | 3 to 4 | Virta 9.0 kW |
| Vera | 63 × 87 in | not published | 2 to 3 | Virta 8.0 kW |
| Spectra | 82 × 90 in | 51 sq ft | 3 to 4 | Virta 9.0 kW |
| Fortis | 87 × 90 in | 54 sq ft | 3 to 4 | Virta 8.0 kW |
| Ombra | 130 × 91 in | 80 sq ft | 4 to 5 | Virta 10.5 kW |
The Vue and the Vera are the mirrored pair and the only two cabins offered in a door hand. The Vue is sixteen inches wider on a 9 kW heater; the Vera is the compact version on 8 kW. If you want a published interior figure to plan against, the step is the Spectra or the Fortis, because ThermaSol issues spec sheets for those and not for these.
Buyer questions
ThermaSol Vue questions buyers ask before ordering
Can people see in?
In daylight, no. Mirror glazing reflects from the brighter side, so the cabin reads as a dark reflective box from the garden while you have a clear view out. After dark with the interior lit that reverses, which is worth thinking about if the front faces a boundary or a neighbour's window.
What is the interior size?
ThermaSol does not publish one for the Vue. Only the Spectra, Fortis and Ombra have spec sheets giving an interior area, and we are not going to derive one from the exterior and a guessed wall thickness. If your plan depends on it, ask us and we will put the question to ThermaSol in writing before you order.
What size breaker does it need?
Harvia does not publish one and neither will we. The heater draws 37.5 amps at 240 volts single phase and wants a minimum 8 AWG conductor rated to 90 degrees C. Your licensed electrician sizes the overcurrent device to that load under the NEC and your local code.
Does it come with the heater?
Yes. The Harvia Virta at 9 kW and the Harvia CX45 control are fitted at the factory, along with the RGB interior lighting. The electrical supply, the electrician and the base are not included.
Which door hand should I choose?
Decide it against the approach path rather than the view, because the door is where you arrive carrying towels. Left and right are separate SKUs at the same price and the choice is made at order, not adjusted afterwards.
How does it get into my garden?
On a forklift or a crane. The Vue arrives fully assembled as a single 2,646 pound unit, so machine access to the pad is a requirement. Measure the gate, the side return and anything overhead before ordering.
What is the warranty?
One year on the sauna room from substantial project completion, and five years on the Harvia heater, control and power box in a residential setting. Registration is required within fifteen days of purchase and the room must be installed by a certified electrician or qualified service representative.
Can I put it in a rental?
No. ThermaSol's warranty excludes residential units used in any non residential setting, naming hotels, spas, gyms, health clubs and short term rentals specifically. If the project is commercial, talk to us and we will quote from the right range.
Is the Vue certified?
The Harvia Virta heater fitted inside is ETL Listed to UL 875, the US standard for electric dry bath heaters. No certification is published for the structure itself, which is normal in this category. A listed heater does not make the structure listed, because UL 875 treats the two as separate things.
