How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Freight, quoted for your address. These are crated units of roughly 1,300 to 4,800 pounds going to residential addresses, so there is no flat rate. Send us your postcode before you order and we will come back with a real figure.
The outdoor cabins arrive fully assembled. All eight travel as one piece, so there is no build on your weekend, but a forklift or crane has to reach the pad. Measure the gate, the side return and anything overhead first.
The indoor cabins arrive in panels. The Lumaria, Aalto and Astra are built in place by two to four people. What matters is the route in, not the room itself.
Delivery is curbside and someone has to be there. The carrier calls to book a window and brings it to the kerb or driveway. Moving it onto the pad is yours to arrange.
Inspect before you sign. Note any damage on the delivery paperwork while the driver is there, photograph everything, and tell us within 48 hours. Refuse a structurally damaged crate and call us.
Lead times. Twelve weeks on every outdoor cabin, four to eight on the three indoor models, built to order from the day you order.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
Two warranties, not one. ThermaSol covers the sauna room and Harvia covers the heater inside it. They differ in length and they are claimed in different places.
The sauna room: 1 year. From substantial project completion, covering defective workmanship and materials such as mis-cuts, rough lumber or knot loss.
The heater, control and power box: 5 years residential. One year in a commercial setting. Stones and heating elements carry one year either way.
Two conditions decide most claims. The room must be registered within 15 days of purchase, and installed by a certified electrician or qualified service representative.
Commercial use voids it. ThermaSol excludes residential units used in any non-residential setting, naming hotels, spas, gyms, health clubs and short-term rentals. Tell us before you order and we will quote a range that is warranted for it.
Who you call. Cabin claims go through ThermaSol and we start them for you. Harvia heaters are serviced by Harvia US directly, which is a separate route.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. Cancelling before it ships costs nothing at all, and on a twelve week cabin there is usually room to change your mind.
Condition required. As new, unused, unassembled and in its original packaging with every component. Once a unit has been sited, connected or assembled it is no longer returnable.
Get an authorisation first. Contact us with your order number, we raise it with ThermaSol, and you ship within 14 days with the authorisation number written on the crate.
What a return costs. A restocking fee of up to 5% may apply and you pay the return freight, which is substantial on a crated sauna. We do not deduct the original outbound shipping. Ask us for an estimate before you commit.
Damaged on arrival is a freight claim, not a return. Note it on the paperwork while the driver is present, photograph it before anything moves, and tell us within 48 hours. Handled that way it costs you nothing.
Refunds. To the original payment method once the unit is received and inspected, normally within 5 to 10 business days.

The short answer
The ThermaSol Vera is the compact mirrored cabin, at 63 inches wide
Five feet three of width. The Vera is the cabin ThermaSol points at balconies, roof terraces and small gardens, and it is the only one in the range they describe that way. Dual mirrored glass walls in black enamel frames, for two to three people.
The ground
63 × 87 in
The narrowest cabin ThermaSol makes. No placement clearance is published, so allow working room on all four sides for the delivery machine and for later heater access.
The people
2 to 3
ThermaSol's figure. Tyrol panels and thermally modified aspen benches, with RGB LED colour lighting on a remote.
The circuit
240V, 33.4 A
The 8 kW Harvia Virta draws 33.4 amps on 240 volt single phase and wants a minimum 8 AWG 90 °C copper feed.
Inside the cabin
Two mirrored walls rather than one mirrored front

ThermaSol describes the Vera with dual mirrored glass walls, which is the detail that separates it from the Vue's single mirrored front. On a cabin this narrow, glazing two sides is what stops it feeling like a cupboard.
Inside: Tyrol panels and thermally modified aspen benches, with RGB LED colour lighting on a remote. Multi layer insulation in the walls.
What the mirrored glass does
Mirror glazing reflects from the brighter side. In daylight the Vera reads as a dark reflective box from outside while you have a clear view out; after dark with the interior lit, that reverses. On a balcony or a roof terrace, where the cabin is close to a boundary, that day and night behaviour is worth standing and checking before you fix the orientation.
The dimension ThermaSol does not publish
There is no interior area and no interior linear dimension published for the Vera. Only three ThermaSol cabins have spec sheets and this is not one of them. We will not derive an interior from the exterior and a guessed wall thickness. If your plan turns on it, ask and we will put it to ThermaSol in writing.
Vera or Vue
Two mirrored cabins, and how to choose between them
These two are the only ThermaSol cabins with mirrored glass and the only two sold in a door hand. They are not one cabin in two sizes.
The Vera is 63 inches wide on an 8 kW heater for 2 to 3 people, with dual mirrored walls. The Vue is 79 inches wide on a 9 kW heater for 3 to 4, with a single floor to ceiling mirrored front. Sixteen inches of width is the difference between a bench that seats two and one that seats three across.
Both are 87 inches deep and 89 high, so depth and height are not part of the decision. If the site is a balcony or a roof terrace, ThermaSol pitches the Vera for exactly that and makes no equivalent claim for the Vue.
Before you order
Five checks that are cheap now and expensive later
1. The structure, if it is not ground level
This is the cabin most likely to go on a balcony or a roof, and 1,984 pounds assembled is a real load on a structure that was not designed for it. Get it signed off before you order, not after.
2. The approach
Delivered fully assembled at 2,205 pounds. On a roof terrace that usually means a crane, and crane access is a different conversation from gate width.
3. The sightlines
Mirrored glass close to a boundary behaves differently by day and by night. Stand where the glass will face before committing to the orientation.
4. The electrician
ThermaSol requires a licensed electrician for the heater installation.
5. The door hand
ThermaSol describes left and right as mirrored assemblies: the right assembly puts the glass corner and the heater on the left side, and the left assembly reverses it. That is a layout decision, not just a hinge.
How it is built
Three things about the Vera you cannot change afterwards

The glass
Parsol dark grey with dual mirrored walls in black enamel frames. ThermaSol quotes glass thicknesses inconsistently across its own range, so no millimetre figure appears here.
The envelope
Multi layer insulation. ThermaSol does not name a roof membrane for the Vera, so neither do we.
The assembly hand
Left and right place the glass corner and the heater on opposite sides. It is set at the factory and cannot be reversed later.
Heater and circuit
An 8 kW Harvia Virta on a CX45 control
The Vera ships with a Harvia Virta at 8.0 kW and a Harvia CX45 control, both fitted.
Harvia's North American manual Y05-0767 lists that heater at 33.4 amps on 240 volt single phase, on a minimum 8 AWG conductor rated to 90 °C.
Why there is no breaker size here
Harvia does not publish one. None of the three Harvia North American manuals gives a fuse or breaker rating for any heater in this family. They publish current draw and a minimum conductor gauge and leave the overcurrent device to the installer. Your electrician sizes it against 33.4 amps under the NEC and local code.
Harvia does give one instruction plainly, in section 3.7: the heater feed must not run through an RCD or GFI.
And why there is no sizing check
Harvia publishes a floor area range for each heater, which is the honest way to check a heater against a room. We cannot run it on the Vera, because ThermaSol publishes no interior area for it. We would rather say the check is unavailable than invent a room to run it against.
Running cost
What an hour in the Vera costs to heat
An 8 kW element runs flat out while the room comes up, then cycles to hold it. Across a typical hour, counting both phases, budget roughly 4.8 kilowatt hours.
At 17 cents a kilowatt hour that is about $0.82 an hour of use, or near $11 a month at three one hour sessions a week. Put your own utility rate in; it moves the answer more than the cabin does.
The Vera is the cheapest cabin in the ThermaSol range to run, which follows from it being the smallest room on the smaller of the two common heaters.
What you get
What arrives, and what is separate
In the delivery
The assembled cabin in your chosen assembly hand, with the Harvia Virta and the CX45 control fitted and the RGB lighting installed.
Not in the delivery
The base or structural work, the electrical supply and the electrician, the machine that lifts it into place, and site preparation. Freight is quoted rather than published, so talk to us before ordering and we will get a real number for your address.
Delivery and siting
It arrives built, which changes the job

The Vera leaves the distributor finished and arrives as one 2,205 pound unit. It is the lightest cabin in the range, which widens the options, but it is still a crane job onto a roof terrace and a machine job into a garden.
Once it is down and level the remaining work is the electrical connection and filling the stone basket. Leave service access to the heater: an installation that prevents it is excluded from the warranty.

Compare models
Where the Vera sits in ThermaSol's outdoor range
| Model | Exterior | Interior | People | Heater |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vera | 63 × 87 in | not published | 2 to 3 | Virta 8.0 kW |
| Vue | 79 × 87 in | not published | 3 to 4 | Virta 9.0 kW |
| Spectra | 82 × 90 in | 51 sq ft | 3 to 4 | Virta 9.0 kW |
| Fortis | 87 × 90 in | 54 sq ft | 3 to 4 | Virta 8.0 kW |
| Ombra | 130 × 91 in | 80 sq ft | 4 to 5 | Virta 10.5 kW |
The Vera is the smallest and lightest cabin ThermaSol makes, and the only one pitched for balconies and roof terraces. If you need a third seat across the bench, the step is the Vue. If you need a published interior figure to plan against, the step is the Spectra or the Fortis, because ThermaSol issues spec sheets for those and not for these.
Buyer questions
ThermaSol Vera questions buyers ask before ordering
Will it fit on a balcony?
ThermaSol pitches the Vera for balconies, roof terraces and small gardens, and it is the only cabin in their range they describe that way. The cabin is 63 inches wide by 87 deep and weighs 1,984 pounds assembled. Whether your particular structure takes that load is a question for an engineer, and it should be answered before you order rather than after.
What is the interior size?
ThermaSol does not publish one for the Vera. Only the Spectra, Fortis and Ombra have spec sheets giving an interior area, and we are not going to derive one from the exterior and a guessed wall thickness. Ask us and we will put the question to ThermaSol in writing.
What size breaker does it need?
Harvia does not publish one and neither will we. The heater draws 33.4 amps at 240 volts single phase and wants a minimum 8 AWG conductor rated to 90 degrees C. Your licensed electrician sizes the overcurrent device to that load under the NEC and your local code.
How is it different from the Vue?
Sixteen inches narrower on a smaller 8 kW heater, listed for 2 to 3 people rather than 3 to 4, and described with dual mirrored walls where the Vue has a single mirrored front. Both are 87 inches deep and 89 high, so width, capacity and heater are the whole decision.
Can people see in?
In daylight, no. Mirror glazing reflects from the brighter side, so the cabin reads as a dark reflective box from outside while you have a clear view out. After dark with the interior lit that reverses, which matters more on a balcony than in an open garden.
What does left or right assembly mean?
ThermaSol builds the Vera as mirrored assemblies. The right assembly puts the glass corner and the heater on the left side, and the left assembly reverses it. It is a layout decision made at order and set at the factory, not a hinge you swap later.
How does it get onto a roof terrace?
Usually a crane. The Vera arrives fully assembled at 2,205 pounds, and while it is the lightest cabin in the range it is still a machine lift. Settle the access and the structural sign-off before you order.
What is the warranty?
One year on the sauna room from substantial project completion, and five years on the Harvia heater, control and power box in a residential setting. Registration is required within fifteen days of purchase and the room must be installed by a certified electrician or qualified service representative.
Can I put it in a rental?
No. ThermaSol's warranty excludes residential units used in any non residential setting, naming hotels, spas, gyms, health clubs and short term rentals specifically. If the project is commercial, talk to us and we will quote from the right range.
Is the Vera certified?
The Harvia Virta heater fitted inside is ETL Listed to UL 875, the US standard for electric dry bath heaters. No certification is published for the structure itself, which is normal in this category. A listed heater does not make the structure listed, because UL 875 treats the two as separate things.
