How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free to the contiguous 48. What changes across the range is not the cost to you but how it arrives.
Electric heaters ship by parcel. Wall mounted and pillar heaters run roughly 29 to 55 pounds, so they travel as insured ground parcel. No delivery appointment and nobody needs to be home.
Wood burning stoves ship by freight. A stove moves palletized on an LTL carrier. The carrier calls to arrange an appointment window, someone must be there to sign, and it is a curbside drop rather than a carrier leaving it at the door.
Stones ship separately. A heater takes anywhere from one box to thirteen at roughly 44 pounds a box, so stone shipping is charged per box at checkout, including when the stones are ordered with a heater.
When it ships, and how you will know. Most orders ship promptly, though some part numbers are supplied from Finland and take longer, so we confirm the position for your specific model when you order. You get a tracking notification by email once it ships.
Where we ship. The contiguous 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada are quoted case by case, so contact us before ordering.
If it arrives damaged. Check the carton or pallet for damage while the driver is still there and note any damage on the delivery receipt at the time of signing, then contact us the same day. A clean signature with no damage noted makes a freight claim much harder to win.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
Residential coverage. Two years on electric heaters, controls and steam generators including the heating elements, and two years on wood burning stoves, running from your date of purchase.
A free third year. Register within 30 days and Harvia adds a third year on electric heaters in residential use. We send you the link and your serial number with your order.
Commercial coverage. Two years on electric heaters, controls and electronics, but six months on heating elements and six months on wood burning stoves.
Professional installation is a condition. Harvia requires that the unit is installed and wired by a licensed electrician, and that proof of professional installation can be presented with a claim. A heater wired by the owner is outside the warranty, so keep your installer's invoice with your receipt.
Not covered. Normal wear, improper installation, poor maintenance, failure to follow the instructions, alterations and improper use. Sauna stones are a consumable and are not covered, and stones Harvia does not specify for your model can void cover.
Transport damage has a seven day limit. Harvia requires damage found on receipt to be reported no later than seven days after delivery. Call us the same day, because a claim is far easier to win with the damage noted on the delivery receipt.
Changing how you use it ends the cover. Moving a heater from a family sauna into a gym, a rental or any other commercial setting ends the residential cover rather than converting it. Tell us before you order if the room will be used commercially.
A callout for a fault that is not covered can be charged. If the defect turns out to fall outside the warranty, Harvia is entitled to charge for the work of finding it, including labour, travel and shipping at actual cost. Call us first and we will work through the symptoms with you before anything is booked.
Who handles it. Harvia US Inc. is the warrantor for North America and we open the claim with them on your behalf. Call (888) 500-5675.
What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from purchase. The unit must be new, uninstalled and in resalable condition with its original packaging and all included parts. A heater that has been wired in, fired, or loaded with stones counts as installed and cannot be returned.
What a return costs. There is no percentage restocking fee on a standard customer return. You get full credit for the product, less a repackaging fee that typically runs about 20 to 50 dollars depending on the item.
Who pays the return freight. You do on a change of mind. We do, and the distributor does, when the cause is shipping damage or an error on our side, and nothing is deducted for freight in those cases.
Damaged on arrival. A different process, and it is time sensitive. Note the damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, photograph the carton and the contents, and call us the same day. Concealed damage found after signing is much harder to claim, so open the box on delivery day even if you are not installing for weeks.
Sauna stones. Stone is sold by weight and is not returnable once a box is opened.
Controls and accessories. Same 30 day window and the same condition requirement. A control unit that has been wired in cannot be returned.
To start a return. Call (888) 500-5675. A Return Authorization number is required before anything goes back, and product returned without one can be refused.

Harvia Cilindro Series
Harvia Cilindro PC110E 10.5kW Electric Sauna Heater
The Cilindro is a pillar heater: an open, grate-like column that holds 265 lbs of stone in contact with the elements down its full height. Water thrown against the side of the column gives soft steam. Water poured straight onto the top gives a sharper, faster burst.
At 10.5kW Harvia rates it for rooms up to 636 cubic feet, or 23 to 98 square feet of floor at a minimum ceiling height of 78 inches. This model runs from a Harvia CX45 control unit, mounted outside the hot room and bought separately. That is an extra purchase and an extra wall position to plan, and in exchange you get a start timer and a proper display.

Harvia Cilindro PC110E Features
What you are buying at 10.5kW
265 lbs of stone in an open column
The grate-like outer shell puts stone in direct contact with the elements down the full height of the column, which is what separates a pillar heater from a wall unit at the same output. More stone means a softer, longer steam and a room that recovers faster after each ladle.
Runs from a wall-mounted control
This model runs from a Harvia CX45 control unit, mounted outside the hot room and bought separately. That is an extra purchase and an extra wall position to plan, and in exchange you get a start timer and a proper display.
Stainless steel body, ETL Listed
Steel body with a stainless steel finish, floor standing and anchored to the wall, with a maximum thermostat setting of 194°F. Harvia publishes an ETL listing for this heater covering the United States and Canada. ETL is the mark of Intertek, an OSHA-accredited Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory. Installation follows the National Electrical Code and your local code.
Sizing the PC110E
Is 10.5kW the right output for your room?
Measure length × width × height in feet. Harvia also publishes a floor area for this model, 23 to 98 square feet, at a minimum room height of 78 inches (1980 mm). The floor figure is the more useful check, because Harvia prints the same 141 cubic foot minimum against every heater in this range.
Cold surfaces change the answer, and a glass door counts. Harvia's manuals treat brick, glass, tile and concrete as non-insulated surface and say to add 1.2 cubic meters of volume for every square meter of it, which works out near 3.9 cubic feet for every square foot. Harvia's own worked examples: a 10 cubic meter room with a glass door behaves like a 12 cubic meter room, and the same room with a 2 by 2 meter brick wall behaves like 15. If you are close to the limit, size up rather than down.
Log walls without insulation heat slowly. Harvia advises multiplying the room volume by 1.5 before choosing output in that case.
Electrical requirements
43.75 amps at 240 volts, on a single circuit
Worth settling before you price the electrical work. Harvia's US manual gives the PC110E a rated amperage of 43.75 A at 240 volts single phase on a one-group connection, with a minimum 6 AWG 90°C copper wire from the power unit to the heater. A two-group connection is offered as an option at 29.2 A and 8 AWG per group, but it is an alternative rather than a requirement.
Harvia publishes rated amperage rather than a breaker size. Harvia's control manual also caps the breaker feeding the control's power unit at 45 A for the Xenio CX45, so your electrician sizes the circuit against both that cap and the continuous-load rule, using the connection options in Harvia's wiring table. Fixed electric heating counts as a continuous load, so your electrician sizes the conductor and the overcurrent device with headroom above that figure, to the National Electrical Code and to whatever edition your local authority has adopted.
The heater is hardwired. The US manual calls for copper wire rated to 194°F (90°C) within the sauna walls, run in seal tight conduit between the heater and the wall, and it is explicit that pigtails and plugs are not allowed in the sauna room. Harvia also states that the power feed must not be connected through a GFI or residual current device, while some local codes require GFCI protection anyway. Raise that with your electrician before the rough-in rather than at inspection.
Installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician. Harvia's warranty terms require that proof of professional installation is presented, so keep the invoice.

Harvia Cilindro PC110E FAQ
Questions buyers ask about the PC110E
What size sauna room does the Harvia Cilindro PC110E heat?
Harvia rates the PC110E for rooms up to 636 cubic feet, or 23 to 98 square feet of floor at a minimum ceiling height of 78 inches. Multiply your room length, width and height in feet to get the volume. Non-insulated surface counts, and so does a glass door: Harvia adds 1.2 cubic meters of volume for every square meter of brick, glass, tile or concrete, which is near 3.9 cubic feet for every square foot. Add that before you compare against the range.
Does the PC110E need a separate control unit?
Yes. The PC110E runs from a Harvia CX45 control unit mounted outside the hot room, bought separately. Each control unit has a published maximum load, so it has to be matched to the heater rather than chosen on features.
How many circuits does the PC110E require?
One. Harvia's US manual gives the PC110E a rated amperage of 43.75 A at 240 volts single phase on a one-group connection, with a minimum 6 AWG 90 degree Celsius copper wire from the power unit to the heater. A two-group option exists at 29.2 A and 8 AWG per group, but it is an alternative rather than a requirement. Harvia publishes rated amperage rather than breaker size, so your electrician sizes the overcurrent device above that figure, because fixed electric heating counts as a continuous load. Harvia's control manual also caps the breaker feeding the control's power unit at 45 A for the Xenio CX45, so your electrician sizes the circuit against both that cap and the continuous-load rule, using the connection options in Harvia's wiring table.
Are sauna stones included with the Cilindro PC110E?
No. Stones are required for operation and are sold separately. Harvia rates the PC110E to hold up to 265 lbs of stone, and the practical order is 6 boxes of Harvia AC3000 at 44 lbs a box, which fills the rated capacity almost exactly, so order a spare box if you want extra to choose from as stone varies in shape and breaks down over time. Harvia specifies angular split-face stone 2 to 4 inches across for the Cilindro. Shape and size are not interchangeable across the Harvia range, and Harvia's terms exclude damage caused by stone it does not recommend.
Can I install the Harvia Cilindro PC110E myself?
No. The PC110E is hardwired and must be installed by a licensed electrician to the National Electrical Code and local requirements. Harvia's published warranty terms require that proof of professional installation is presented, so keep the invoice. The US manual specifies copper wire rated to 194 degrees Fahrenheit within the sauna walls, run in seal tight conduit, and states that pigtails and plugs are not allowed in the sauna room.
What warranty comes with this heater?
Harvia covers this heater for 2 years in residential family use, including the heating elements, under the Limited Warranty for Harvia Products dated 18 November 2025. Register the heater with Harvia within 30 days of purchase and Harvia adds a third year, for 3 years in total. Registration is free and takes a couple of minutes. We send you the link and your serial number with your order, so you do not have to go looking for it. In commercial or other non-consumer use the period is 2 years on the heater, controls and electronics, and 6 months on the heating elements. Cover runs from your date of purchase, so keep your receipt. Harvia also requires that the unit is installed and wired by a licensed electrician and that you can show proof of professional installation, so keep your installer's paperwork with it. Transport or storage damage is separate and must be reported no later than seven days after delivery. Harvia US Inc. is the warrantor and handles claims directly, and we open the claim on your behalf. Full terms are on our Harvia warranty policy page.
Does the PC110E need a GFCI breaker?
Harvia's manual is explicit that the power feed should not be connected through a GFI or residual current device. Local code may require GFCI protection anyway, particularly outdoors or in a wet location, and where the two conflict your inspector decides. Settle it with your electrician before the rough-in rather than at final inspection.
Is the Cilindro PC110E listed for use in the United States?
Harvia publishes an ETL listing for this heater covering the United States and Canada. ETL is the mark of Intertek, an OSHA-accredited Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory. Installation follows the National Electrical Code and your local code.
Does it matter where I throw the water on the Cilindro?
It changes the steam. Harvia's Cilindro manual says you can adjust the heat from soft to sharp by throwing water either on the front of the heater or straight on top of the stones. Keep each ladle to 0.05 gallons (0.2 litres), the most Harvia gives, because if too much water goes on the stones only part of it evaporates.
