- Grade-A cedar in single staves, no tenon joints
- 71″ of room inside, 79″ deep outside
- Heater, chimney and roof are chosen separately

Shipping & Delivery
Shipping & Delivery
Your LeisureCraft sauna, plunge tub, hot tub or outdoor shower is handcrafted to order in Melancthon, Ontario and ships by insured LTL freight. Freight and all cross-border charges are included in the price — no separate shipping cost, no customs bill at the door.
Build time, not ship time. Every unit is made to order, so each product page shows an estimated build date rather than a delivery date. Transit is additional, and build dates move with production volume — peak season runs February through May. We confirm your date in writing once your order is placed.
What the carrier does. The freight company calls to schedule an appointment and delivers to the end of your driveway or the curb, usually on an 18-wheel truck. The driver will not unload your crate and will not back into your driveway. Check that a truck that size can reach your property before you order.
CRITICAL — you are responsible for unloading. Crates run 6 to 14 feet long and 800 to 1,600 pounds depending on the model, with the largest builds heavier still. If your crate is 84 inches or shorter, the carrier may have a liftgate to help lower it. Longer than that there is no liftgate, which covers most of the barrel and cabin range. You will need a forklift with extensions (crates lift from the end), a trailer to collect from the terminal, or a crew on hand. We can arrange a tilt-tow truck for $1,250 if you would rather not. Plan this before you order and we will work it out with you.
Inspect before you sign. If the crate arrives damaged, accept it, photograph everything before moving it, and write "Crate arrived open/damaged — Possible Hidden Damage" on the Bill of Lading. Then call us within 72 hours. A clean signature releases the carrier and makes a claim nearly impossible to win.
Good to know. Changing your shipping address after the unit leaves the factory costs $350 — free before it ships, so tell us early. If a delivery appointment stalls because calls go unreturned, the terminal charges $35 per day in storage. Both are manufacturer charges passed through at cost. Heaters and accessories ship separately and usually arrive sooner.
Questions before you order? Call or text (888) 500-5675, Mon–Sat 9am–6pm EST. We coordinate every delivery ourselves.
Included freight applies to standard residential curbside delivery in the contiguous 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii and Canada require a quote before ordering. Build and transit times are estimates, not guarantees. Applies to the LeisureCraft Canadian Timber Collection. View our full Shipping & Delivery policy →
Warranty
Warranty
All products designed and manufactured by Dundalk LeisureCraft — including the Canadian Timber Collection — are covered against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for 5 years from the day you receive the product.
What's covered. Replacement of defective parts. Service, labor and installation costs are expressly excluded by the manufacturer, and a replacement part does not extend the original 5-year period.
What's not. Normal wear and tear, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, natural weather conditions, and failure to follow the installation and care instructions.
Heaters, stoves and chillers. These sit on LeisureCraft's separate component schedule, and LeisureCraft honors the component manufacturer's terms directly — same coverage, same duration. Electric heaters carry 3 years (elements and rocks excluded; HUUM also excludes sensors). Wood-burning stoves run 2 years to 5 years, with LeisureCraft's own Timberglow at 5, excluding the glass door, ash grate and rocks; LeisureCraft chimney kits carry 5 years with no exclusions. Chillers carry 1 to 2 years. Component coverage is parts only. We confirm the exact term for your configuration in writing before you order.
Use a licensed electrician. All electrical connections on heaters and chillers must be made by a licensed electrician, or LeisureCraft voids the component warranty. Improper installation is excluded from the 5-year sauna warranty as well.
If you've seen a 3-year figure. Some older listings and in-box manuals still show 3 years for the Canadian Timber Collection. LeisureCraft's current published policy is 5 years, and that's the coverage we confirm in writing with every order.
Residential use, and registration. The 5-year term is written for normal residential use; LeisureCraft publishes no commercial warranty. Buying for a gym, clinic, spa, hotel or rental? Call us first and we'll get the factory's position in writing. We send the manufacturer's registration link with your order confirmation — registering keeps future claims straightforward.
How to make a claim. Contact us — as your authorized dealer we handle the claim with the manufacturer for you. Email sales@recoveryroomdirect.com or call (888) 500-5675 with your order number and photos of the issue.

Return Policy
Return Policy
LeisureCraft Canadian Timber products are handcrafted for your specific order in Melancthon, Ontario. Because each unit is built to order, the manufacturer does not accept returns or exchanges — so please call us before you buy if anything is unclear. We would far rather answer questions first than have you end up with the wrong sauna.
Cancellations. Production is scheduled as soon as your order is placed. Contact us as early as you can at (888) 500-5675 — if your build hasn't started we'll do everything we can to cancel at no cost. If it has, we'll tell you plainly where you stand.
Damaged on arrival? You're covered. Transit damage is handled by replacement, not return. Accept the shipment, photograph the damage before moving anything, and write "Crate arrived open/damaged — Possible Hidden Damage" on the Bill of Lading before signing. Call us within 72 hours and the manufacturer ships replacement wood or components at no charge. Damage reported after a clean signature is very difficult to claim — this step is what protects you.
Five-year residential warranty. Products manufactured by LeisureCraft carry a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for five years from the day you receive them. Valid claims are resolved with replacement parts at no charge.
What it doesn't cover. The warranty is parts only — service, labour and installation are expressly excluded, and a replaced part doesn't restart the five years. It excludes normal wear and tear, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, weather damage, and failure to follow the care instructions. Cedar is a natural material: seasonal movement and colour change to silver-grey are normal and are not defects.
Two exceptions worth knowing. The warranty is written for residential use — if you're buying for a gym, clinic, spa or rental property, call us first so we can confirm your coverage in writing. And sauna heaters are not LeisureCraft-made: Harvia, HUUM and Narvi units carry their own manufacturer warranties, and we'll point you to the right terms.
Warranty begins on the date the product is received by the original end-user. Register your warranty with the manufacturer to keep future claims straightforward — we'll send the link with your order confirmation. We're here Mon–Sat, 9am–6pm EST. View our full Return Policy →

Canadian Timber Collection · Model CTC22W
The CT Harmony: the whole barrel is sauna, and that is the point
Eastern White Cedar, solid single-stave walls, T6061 aluminum bands and a 5 mm bronze tempered glass door. The Harmony is the 79-inch outdoor barrel sauna: 222 cubic feet, a 4-person backyard room, and no wasted length, every inch of it is sauna. It is also the only one of these three that meets LeisureCraft’s liftgate threshold, its crate is 34 by 84 inches, at the 84-inch limit rather than past it, which quietly makes it the easiest to get delivered.
Built to order in Melancthon, Ontario and shipped as a flat-packed kit with the cedar pre-cut. Wood-fired or electric, both offered from the factory. Freight is included to the contiguous 48 states.
Pay over time with Shop Pay Installments at checkout, or finance through APPROVE. Rates and terms depend on the amount financed and are subject to approval.

Straight answer first
Where the Harmony earns its place
The Harmony is the barrel to buy when you want the sauna and not the furniture. At 79 inches deep it is the shortest in the range, and all of that length is room you sit in, there is no porch adding fifteen-odd inches to the footprint and to the bill.
It is also the only one of the three that meets the liftgate threshold. LeisureCraft sets that limit at 84 inches and the Harmony crates at exactly 84, at the line rather than past it, so it is the one barrel here that can come off the truck the easy way, subject to the carrier serving your address. If your driveway is tight or you have nobody to help unload, that is not a small detail, it is the difference between a delivery and a problem.
If you want somewhere to sit and cool off without going back indoors, look at the Serenity instead; it is the same sauna with a porch attached. If you want a genuinely larger room, that is the Tranquility.
The wood
Eastern White Cedar, and the bands you tighten in month one
The barrel is built from Grade-A solid cedar in single staves, no tenon joints along their length, held by T6061 aluminum bands, which LeisureCraft describes as marine grade, with stainless steel hardware. Eastern White Cedar is naturally resistant to rot, decay and insects, and it is sourced from certified sustainable mills in British Columbia and Ontario.
Here is the part almost nobody selling a barrel sauna will tell you. The cedar is meant to move. LeisureCraft’s own care instructions say the goal is for the wood to expand into the bands, tightening the staves, and that you should tighten the bands after the initial installation, typically within the first month, then check them periodically. A three-quarter-inch wrench does it in minutes. It is the one maintenance job this sauna genuinely needs, and it is why a well-kept barrel stays tight for decades.

CT Harmony construction
What you are paying for in a Canadian Timber cedar barrel sauna
Solid single-stave cedar
Grade-A solid cedar with no tenon joints running along the stave. It is the difference between a barrel that stays round and one that does not.
T6061 aluminum bands
Made in Canada, in the alloy LeisureCraft calls marine grade, with stainless steel hardware. They are also the part you tighten, see above.
20-inch benches, 5 mm glass
Benches are 20 inches wide on every stave barrel in the range. The door and window are bronze tempered single pane, 5 mm, per LeisureCraft’s specification sheet.
Choosing your heater
Wood or electric: both are offered on the Harmony
Every Canadian Timber barrel is a traditional sauna, and every one is available with a wood-burning stove as well as an electric heater; LeisureCraft’s own comparison table lists both as available on all three. For electric, LeisureCraft’s specification table lists 7.5 kW for this room while their own configurator offers 6 kW. That gap is theirs, not a typo of ours, six will heat it, 7.5 heats it faster and holds better through an open door. Both sizes are offered at the top of this page; if you are between them, call and we will size it with you.
Electric: the simple path
Six electric heaters fit these barrels, from the wall-mounted Harvia KIP to the HUUM Drop, which holds 120 lb of stone. The heater sets the circuit, not the sauna, and the run from your panel to the yard is usually the bigger cost. Tell us the heater and we will put the electrical specification in writing. It has to be a licensed electrician, LeisureCraft voids the warranty otherwise.
Wood: and what it asks of you
Wood is slower to bring up and needs feeding mid-session, and it is the reason people put these at cottages: the fire is half of it. Electric is set-and-forget, and it is the only option if your township restricts outdoor burning, worth checking before you choose. A wood build also needs a chimney, and which chimney depends on your site.
Why we still ask you to call
The heater, its control, and for a wood build the stove, its chimney routing and the floor plate are all priced at the top of this page, so nothing waits on a quote. The call is where we check what you have chosen against your site: climate, how exposed the Harmony will be, the breaker, and where a flue can exit under local code. LeisureCraft accepts no returns, so five minutes on (888) 500-5675 before you choose is the cheapest insurance on the page.
Choose your electric heater at the top of this page. It is added to your order as its own line, sized to this barrel per LeisureCraft. Prefer wood? Choose the stove and its chimney routing at the top of this page; if you want a second opinion on the routing, call (888) 500-5675 before the order goes in.
Living with it
What a week with the Harmony actually looks like
The weeknight round
Out through the back door, twenty minutes, cold water after. A barrel encloses less air than a square room with the same bench space, because the walls curve away from corners you were never going to sit in. Less air to heat is less time waiting.
Two of you
Two facing benches, 20 inches wide, 222 cubic feet. Four people fit; two is unhurried, with room to lie back on the upper bench rather than sit upright. This is the size that suits a household that saunas rather than a household that entertains.
Winter
Eastern White Cedar is the reason it survives it. What to put in the calendar is the band check described above, the cedar moves most in its first winter, so it matters more then than it ever will again. If you get real snow, ask us about the roof, which keeps meltwater off the top staves.
Who buys this one
Three people who choose the Harmony
The tight site
79 inches deep and an 84-inch crate. It is the smallest footprint in the barrel range and the only one a liftgate truck can put down for you.
The daily user
A household of one or two who will use it several times a week. All of the money is in the sauna and none of it is in a porch you would walk straight past.
The wood-fired purist
Off-grid, at a cottage, or simply because a fire is the point. Wood-burning is offered on every barrel in this family; choose the stove and its chimney routing at the top of this page and we confirm the routing with you.
Full specifications
CT Harmony specifications, and how the three barrels really compare
All three share an exterior width and height of 86.25 inches, an interior width of 83 inches, an interior height of 79 inches, 20-inch benches and 5 mm bronze tempered glass. Read the interior depth row before anything else, it is the row that tells you what you are actually buying.

Harmony and Serenity have identical interiors: 71 inches deep, 222 cubic feet. The Serenity is longer outside because it carries a covered front porch. The Tranquility is the only one of these three where the sauna itself is bigger. Dimensions, volumes, crate sizes and heater ratings above are LeisureCraft’s own published figures. One departure, and we would rather you saw it: their table lists the Serenity at five people and the Harmony at four, despite giving both the same 71-inch, 222 cubic foot room. Because the room is the same size we publish four for both and count the porch separately. Their figure is five, check it, and decide which is more useful to you.
Also in this family: Serenity and Tranquility. See every barrel sauna we carry, the wider outdoor sauna range, or the rest of the Dundalk LeisureCraft collection. Not sure which one? Compare the interior volumes in the table above rather than the exterior lengths, on these three, the extra length is porch, not room.
Ownership, in numbers
What the CT Harmony costs to use, once it is in the yard
We are not going to invent a cost-per-session for you, we do not know what you paid or how often you will use it. What we can give you is the denominator, and five years is not an arbitrary window: it is the length of the residential warranty.
or powerThe only cost that recurs is what you feed it
Divide your delivered price by 780, or by 3,120 if the bench is full, and you have your real cost per session. We would rather hand you the arithmetic than publish an average we made up.

Assembly
Building the CT Harmony
LeisureCraft’s own build footage, filmed on this model. Two people, ordinary hand tools, no cutting. Worth watching before you order rather than after.
Free delivery
Barrel sauna delivery, and what to have ready
Freight included
Freight and all cross-border charges are already in the price, curbside to the contiguous 48 states. The Harmony crate is 34″ x 84″ and about 1,044 lb. It is the only one of these three that meets the 84-inch liftgate limit, at the limit rather than under it, so it is the one a truck can most likely set down for you, subject to the carrier serving your address.
Built to order
Nothing is stocked. Your barrel joins the production queue in Melancthon once your order is placed, and we confirm the build and ship window in writing as soon as the factory schedules it. If that date does not work, say so straight away, nothing is cut in the first days, and that is the window where a change costs nothing.
What it sits on
No slab to pour, the barrel rests on its own cedar cradles. But the ground under those cradles has to be flat and stay flat: compacted gravel or level pavers under each cradle is the usual answer. Ground that settles unevenly pulls a barrel out of round, and improper installation is excluded from the warranty. Call us before you dig or pour.
Inspect before you sign
Photograph any damage and write it on the Bill of Lading before you sign, then call us within 72 hours. A clean signature makes a freight claim very hard to win, and on a crate this size a concealed dent is easy to miss in the moment. The crate is set down at the curb, not carried inside, not assembled, so have your help and your route sorted for the day it lands.
A few situations do add cost, a tilt-tow truck, an address change after the crate ships, or terminal storage if a delivery appointment stalls. All are avoidable and all are listed on our LeisureCraft shipping policy. Because each barrel is cut for your order, LeisureCraft does not accept returns or exchanges at any point; read our return policy before ordering, and call us with any doubt, because we would rather talk it through first.
Before you start. Heat loads the cardiovascular system. If you are pregnant, have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, a seizure disorder or diabetes, have a pacemaker or another implanted cardiac or electronic device, are recovering from surgery, have Raynaud’s syndrome, or take medication affecting blood pressure, thermoregulation or alertness, speak to your doctor first. This is not an exhaustive list, if you have any health condition, ask your doctor before you start. Never use a sauna after drinking alcohol, and children should not use one unsupervised.
Buyer questions
CT Harmony: the questions buyers actually ask
Is the Harmony actually smaller than the Serenity inside?
No, they are identical inside. LeisureCraft's own specification table gives both a 71-inch interior depth, 83-inch width, 79-inch height and 222 cubic feet. The Serenity is longer on the outside because it carries a covered front porch. If you are choosing between them, you are choosing whether you want the porch, not how much sauna you get.
Can the Harmony be delivered with a liftgate?
It is the only one of these three that meets the threshold. LeisureCraft sets the liftgate limit at 84 inches and the Harmony crates at 34 by 84 inches, about 1,044 lb, at the limit rather than under it. Confirm it with us in writing before the crate ships. The Serenity is 96 inches and the Tranquility is 120, so both of those need equipment or hands on site. Liftgate availability still depends on the carrier serving your address, so we confirm it with you before the crate ships.
Can I run the Harmony on wood instead of electricity?
Yes. Every barrel in this family is offered with a wood-burning stove as well as electric, LeisureCraft's own comparison table lists wood as available on all three. Wood needs a chimney, and which chimney depends on your site: out the top, out the side or back, with an elbow, with a water tank. That is a site decision rather than a shopping one, so choose the routing with the stove at the top of this page and we confirm it against your roof line and local code before the order goes in.
How does a barrel sauna heat differently from a square room?
The curve is doing a job. A square sauna has upper corners nobody sits in and a barrel does not, so it encloses less air for the same bench space. Heat-up time depends mainly on the heater you choose and the outdoor temperature, which is why we size the heater with you rather than publish a number that will not hold.
What is Eastern White Cedar, and why not Western Red?
Eastern White Cedar is what the Canadian Timber Collection is built from, lighter in color, tighter knots, naturally resistant to rot, decay and insects, and sourced from certified sustainable mills in British Columbia and Ontario. Western Red Cedar is a darker, more strongly scented species used in other sauna lines. Neither is short of cedar smell, the difference is closer to two coffees than to coffee and water. Every barrel we sell in this family is Eastern White Cedar.
How often do you tighten the bands on a barrel sauna?
Yes, and it is the one job with a deadline. LeisureCraft's own care instructions explain that the cedar needs to expand into the bands to tighten the staves, and that you should tighten them after the initial installation, typically within the first month, then check them periodically. A three-quarter-inch wrench does it. It takes minutes, it is the one job this sauna genuinely needs, and skipping it is how people end up with gaps between staves.
What does the warranty actually cover?
Five years, residential, against defects in materials and workmanship, starting the day you receive it. It is parts only, service, labor and installation are excluded, and a replacement part does not extend the five years. It does not cover normal wear, improper installation, insufficient maintenance or weather. One condition catches people out: all electrical connections must be made by a licensed electrician, and failing to do that voids the warranty. Heaters carry their own terms, which we confirm in writing with your order.
Can I pay for this over time?
Yes. Shop Pay Installments is available at checkout, and APPROVE offers financing on larger orders including business and commercial buyers. Terms, length and whether interest applies all depend on the amount financed and on approval, so the exact offer is the one presented to you rather than anything we can quote here. Call us if you would rather talk it through first.
What happens if I change my mind after ordering?
Every barrel is built to your order, so LeisureCraft does not accept returns or exchanges at any point, that is their policy, not a restocking arrangement, and we would rather you knew before you ordered than after. If your build has not started we will do everything we can to cancel at no cost, which is why calling the moment anything changes is the single most useful thing you can do. Our full LeisureCraft return policy sets out where you stand.
Is a traditional sauna safe for me?
For most healthy adults, used sensibly, yes, but heat genuinely loads the cardiovascular system, so this is a question for your doctor rather than for us. Speak to them first if you are pregnant, have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, a seizure disorder or diabetes, have a pacemaker or another implanted cardiac or electronic device, are recovering from surgery, have Raynaud's syndrome, or take medication affecting blood pressure, thermoregulation or alertness. That list is not exhaustive. Never use a sauna after drinking alcohol, and children should not use one unsupervised.
How long from order to delivery?
Every barrel is built to order, so the honest answer is that it depends on the production queue rather than on us, and that queue moves. We quote your build and ship window on the phone rather than publish a number that ages, and we confirm it in writing once the factory schedules it. If the timing does not work for you, the first days after an order are the window where a change costs nothing.
Is the five-year warranty valid in a gym, spa or rental?
The five-year term is LeisureCraft's residential warranty. If the sauna is going into a gym, spa, short-term rental or any commercial setting, call us before you order, commercial coverage is not the same thing and we will confirm the terms in writing rather than let you find out at claim time. Financing through APPROVE is available to business buyers either way.
Is Recovery Room Direct an authorized LeisureCraft dealer?
Yes. We buy directly from the manufacturer in Melancthon, Ontario, your barrel is built against your order, and we send the manufacturer's warranty registration with your order confirmation. When something needs sorting out, we deal with the factory on your behalf.
Harmony, or the one with the porch?
They are the same sauna inside, 71 inches, 222 cubic feet, identical. The only question is whether you will actually sit outside between rounds. Tell us how you use a sauna and we will tell you whether the porch is worth it to you. If you need a bigger room, that is the Tranquility, and it is a different conversation.
