How does delivery work?
Free freight to the lower 48. Your order ships on a strapped pallet by insured LTL freight from the manufacturer's California warehouse.
When it ships. Orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days depending on the brand, and delivery to most addresses in the contiguous US takes 5 to 14 business days after shipment. Transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees.
How you will know. You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse. Most carriers then call 24 to 48 hours ahead to lock in a four hour window, and some send an email or text the morning of delivery instead. Respond promptly either way, because missed attempts trigger terminal storage fees.
How it arrives. A 53 foot semi truck arrives at your curbside and the driver delivers the pallet to the curb. Liftgate service is not included as standard, and standard delivery does not include bringing the equipment inside, up stairs, or unpacking. Someone must be present to sign.
If it arrives damaged. Walk around the pallet and check every box before signing the Bill of Lading. Cosmetic damage can be accepted, but if a carton is punctured or crushed, refuse that item and call us on (888) 500-5675 while the driver is still there. Note the damage on the Bill of Lading, photograph it, and contact us within 48 hours. Once the damage is documented on the Bill of Lading we can file a valid freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you. Signing a clean Bill of Lading releases the carrier, and claims filed after one are routinely denied. If you refuse for a reason other than damage, or without contacting us first, return freight costs may become your responsibility.
Where it ships. Free freight covers standard residential curbside delivery within the contiguous 48 states. Hawaii, Alaska and Canada are not available at standard checkout, so contact us before ordering for a freight quote.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
How long. The sauna room carries a 5-year limited warranty from the date of purchase: the wood structure when properly maintained, the control panel, control-panel harnesses and lights. The stove or heater is not included and carries its own manufacturer's warranty, which we confirm in writing with your order.
Commercial use. Commercial use reduces coverage to 1 year.
Outdoor placement. Outdoors, a waterproof cover or the sauna's roof panel must be installed. Unprotected outdoor exposure is not covered.
Parts, not labor. Replacement parts are covered; labor is not. Coverage applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address in the continental US or Canada, and is not transferable. Registration is required within 60 days of purchase. You prepay shipping, duties and taxes on warranty parts and insure anything returned.
What is not covered. Moisture or water seepage, outdoor installations not protected from weather including the glass door, lacquer or paint applied to the wood, modifications, and normal wear. Coverage requires an intact serial number and unaltered proof of purchase; minor surface cracks from natural wood movement are not considered defects.

What if I need to return it?
What if I need to return it?
30 days from delivery. The item must come back new, unused and in its original packaging with all components, hardware and accessories. Anything assembled, used or modified cannot be returned, and electronic components such as power supplies and control panels are non returnable under manufacturer policy regardless of condition.
What a return costs. The manufacturer may charge a 20 percent restocking fee, and you are responsible for the return freight. The original shipping cost is not deducted from your refund. Any storage or carrier routing fees incurred during the return are the buyer's responsibility.
Damaged on arrival. A different process, and you are fully protected. If you accepted the delivery and documented the damage on the Bill of Lading, we handle the freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost, with no restocking fee and no return shipping.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee as long as we have not yet submitted your order to the manufacturer. After we submit it but before it ships, an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, and we waive it whenever we are not charged.
To start a return. Email your order number to sales@recoveryroomdirect.com and we issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number within one business day. Write it clearly on every box, because the warehouse will not accept returns without it. Refunds are issued within 5 business days of inspection.

The Toledo 6-Person Hybrid Indoor delivers two completely different sauna experiences without building two different rooms.
The hybrid sauna solves what dedicated infrared buyers eventually ask: “can I get the traditional sauna experience too?” The answer is built into the cabin.
Two entirely different heat systems share the same Canadian Hemlock shell. The full spectrum IR panels — generating FAR, MIR, and NIR wavelengths simultaneously — deliver the deep radiant heat infrared users know. The Harvia wall stove, a Finnish brand with decades of professional installation heritage, delivers convective heat from rocks. Pour water over the heated rocks and the temperature climbs higher than infrared alone, with the löyly (steam ritual) that defines authentic Finnish sauna culture.
Each mode is independent — and you run one at a time. The IR panels and the Harvia stove share the cabin’s single 240V electrical service, so the sauna operates in either infrared mode or traditional mode, not both together. Full spectrum heater panels generate near-, mid-, and far-infrared simultaneously from a single heating element. Your Golden Designs sauna ships free to the contiguous 48 states via insured LTL freight. The carrier places the palletized shipment at your curb or driveway. Typical transit: 5–14 business days after shipment. Plan for help moving panels inside.
Delivery Day — Inspect Before Signing
Walk around the pallet and check every box before signing the bill of lading. Cosmetic damage can be accepted. If a carton is punctured or crushed, or the sauna itself is damaged, refuse that item and call us on (888) 500-5675 while the driver is still there. Note the damage on the bill of lading before you sign, writing exactly what you see, and ask the driver to initial it. If the driver will not initial it, note the damage anyway, sign, and photograph the BOL. Contact us within 48 hours with photos and we will ship a replacement at no cost to you. If you refuse for a reason other than damage, or without contacting us first, return freight costs may become your responsibility. Signing a clean BOL releases the carrier from liability. Questions?
