How does delivery work?
How does delivery work?
Free freight to the lower 48. Your order ships on a strapped pallet by insured LTL freight from the manufacturer's California warehouse.
When it ships. Orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days depending on the brand, and delivery to most addresses in the contiguous US takes 5 to 14 business days after shipment. Transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees.
How you will know. You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse. Most carriers then call 24 to 48 hours ahead to lock in a four hour window, and some send an email or text the morning of delivery instead. Respond promptly either way, because missed attempts trigger terminal storage fees.
How it arrives. A 53 foot semi truck arrives at your curbside and the driver delivers the pallet to the curb. Liftgate service is not included as standard, and standard delivery does not include bringing the equipment inside, up stairs, or unpacking. Someone must be present to sign.
If it arrives damaged. Walk around the pallet and check every box before signing the Bill of Lading. Cosmetic damage can be accepted, but if a carton is punctured or crushed, refuse that item and call us on (888) 500-5675 while the driver is still there. Note the damage on the Bill of Lading, photograph it, and contact us within 48 hours. Once the damage is documented on the Bill of Lading we can file a valid freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you. Signing a clean Bill of Lading releases the carrier, and claims filed after one are routinely denied. If you refuse for a reason other than damage, or without contacting us first, return freight costs may become your responsibility.
Where it ships. Free freight covers standard residential curbside delivery within the contiguous 48 states. Hawaii, Alaska and Canada are not available at standard checkout, so contact us before ordering for a freight quote.
What does the warranty cover?
What does the warranty cover?
How long. Residential coverage from Golden Designs, Inc. runs 5 years on heating elements and electronics and 1 year on the wood structure. Built-in appliances such as stereos carry their own manufacturers' warranties.
Commercial use. Heating elements and electronics are covered for 1 year.
Indoor use only. Placing the sauna outdoors voids the warranty entirely.
What is covered. Defects in material and workmanship. Replacement parts are covered; labor is not. Coverage applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address in the continental US and Canada, and is not transferable.
What you have to do. The manufacturer asks that the warranty be registered within 60 days of purchase; we send the link after delivery. You prepay shipping, duties and taxes on warranty parts, and insure parts shipped or returned. Coverage requires an unaltered proof of purchase and an intact serial number.
What is not covered. Weather or moisture damage, modifications or non-authorized repairs, negligence or misuse, lacquer or paint applied to the wood, and normal wear. The manufacturer notes that minor surface cracks from natural wood movement are not defects.

30 days from delivery. The item must come back new, unused and in its original packaging with all components, hardware and accessories. Anything assembled, used or modified cannot be returned, and electronic components such as power supplies and control panels are non returnable under manufacturer policy regardless of condition.
What a return costs. The manufacturer may charge a 20 percent restocking fee, and you are responsible for the return freight. The original shipping cost is not deducted from your refund. Any storage or carrier routing fees incurred during the return are the buyer's responsibility.
Damaged on arrival. A different process, and you are fully protected. If you accepted the delivery and documented the damage on the Bill of Lading, we handle the freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost, with no restocking fee and no return shipping.
Cancelling before it ships. No fee as long as we have not yet submitted your order to the manufacturer. After we submit it but before it ships, an administrative fee of up to 5 percent may apply, and we waive it whenever we are not charged.
To start a return. Email your order number to sales@recoveryroomdirect.com and we issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number within one business day. Write it clearly on every box, because the warehouse will not accept returns without it. Refunds are issued within 5 business days of inspection.

The Venice packs six Low EMF carbon FAR infrared panels into a proper 2-person cabin — and one of those six panels is a dedicated floor heater that warms from below your feet. Combined with two rear wall panels, one per side wall, and an under-bench panel, the Venice heats from four directions including the ground up. A dual control system — interior LED panel and exterior LED panel — lets you pre-heat the cabin from outside and manage settings from inside the bench without standing up. Bronze-tinted tempered glass door. Plugs into a standard 120V/15A outlet.

Floor-to-Wall Low EMF Coverage in a 2-Person Cabin
FAR infrared energy at wavelengths between 5.6 and 15 microns is absorbed directly by the body — not by the surrounding air. At the operating temperature range of 118°F–132°F, a FAR infrared session produces the thermal load associated with recovery benefits without the intense ambient heat of a traditional steam sauna. The Venice's six Low EMF carbon panels are calibrated to produce 5–10 milligauss at 2–3 inches from any panel surface — a meaningful reduction compared to older wire-coil designs in the same price category.
The defining feature of the Venice panel layout is the floor heater. One of the six panels is mounted below foot level and directs infrared energy upward from the floor of the cabin. In most infrared sauna designs, heat radiates horizontally from wall-mounted panels, leaving the extremities — feet and lower legs — receiving less direct thermal exposure. The Venice's floor panel fills that gap: your feet are heated from below while the rear, side, and under-bench panels cover the torso and lower body from every angle. Two rear wall panels provide consistent dorsal coverage for both occupants simultaneously.
The Venice runs on a standard 120V/15A non-GFCI outlet — no dedicated circuit upgrade, no electrician. Panel layout: 2 rear wall panels (300W each), 1 per side wall (300W each), 1 under-bench panel (200W), and 1 floor panel (125W). The floor panel is the Venice's signature feature — it projects heat upward toward the soles of the feet, the one area most standard wall-panel saunas leave unaddressed. Six panels measuring 5–10 mG at 2–3 inches produce full-body thermal coverage in a 43×37 interior for two occupants simultaneously.
Chromotherapy LED + Red Light at 662.7 nm
Interior chromotherapy LED cycles through multiple wavelengths — adjustable from either the interior or exterior control panel. A dedicated red light therapy module at 662.7 nanometers operates alongside the FAR infrared session. The bronze-tinted tempered glass door adds warm color to natural and artificial light entering the cabin, creating a distinct ambient atmosphere from clear-glass designs. Chromotherapy settings are independent of the FAR infrared session — adjust without interrupting heat output.
Dual LED Control — Interior + Exterior
Both the interior and exterior of the Venice cabin have LED control panels. Pre-heat the sauna from outside before your session — arrive to a cabin already at your target temperature rather than waiting on the bench while it heats. Control temperature, timer, and light settings from inside without getting up. The dual control arrangement is particularly useful for commercial or shared-household settings where the sauna may be pre-started by someone not using it first. Bluetooth + MP3/AUX input with built-in speakers and pre-amplifier provides audio throughout the session.

Honest take: The Venice and Venice Elite differ in two ways. First, the Elite uses PureTech™ Ultra Low EMF panels — a lower-emission heater technology than the Standard's Low EMF carbon panels. Second, the Elite adds bronze-tinted side windows to the cabin; the Standard has only the front glass door. Both models have 6 panels including a floor heater, dual interior/exterior control panels, identical audio, and the same 15A standard outlet. If window glazing and lower EMF matter, choose the Elite. If neither is a priority, the Standard delivers the same floor-panel heating and dual-control arrangement at a lower price.
