Saunum's US distributor lists the AirIQ as required for the Air Perfect. If your heater arrives with its own AirIQ panel, we refund the control. The touch panel hangs outside the hot room: temperature, three fan speeds, three sauna types you can edit, a ready time or weekly plan, and a passcode screen lock.

On 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, the Saunum app on your own phone (not included) lets you set and watch the temperature, start the fan and set its speed, see the heater's status and schedule a session from the couch. Wi-Fi is your choice: pick "Set up offline" at the Wi-Fi step (older panels say "Skip") and the panel runs alone. Saunum wants internet at first installation for updates; a phone hotspot does it. Remote and scheduled starts both check that the door is shut, so a door sensor matters. Bathing Brands' parts list includes a door sensor in the Air Perfect carton, though Saunum's Air Perfect manual names only the temperature sensor, so we confirm with your order whether one ships.
