HUUM counts it as commercial use if a registered business uses the product commercially, if a private user uses it commercially, or if a private user runs it for more than 1,500 hours in a 12 month period. For the warranty to apply, the heater has to be installed and connected by a licensed electrician with proof presented to HUUM, installed and operated to HUUM's manual and to local building, electrical and fire codes, and installed complete. Damage found on delivery has to be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs and before the heater is installed; that is our window, and because it is shorter than HUUM's 7 days, it is the one that applies to the HUUM warranty.
